- Lettuce9001 (8/5): Overall pretty good - Great sized room for Japan and in particular a big city like Osaka. It had good quality amenities and free access to a public bath. The bed was comfortable and the location was excellent, once we found it the first time (Umeda station is a big maze). The coin laundry facilities were clearly nowhere near large enough for the size of the hotel (4 washers and dryers for 340 rooms...). This led to a lot of congestion and inconsiderate other guests, sadly. The shower head was pretty annoying as well (small thing) but it seems so weird to have a design of full jet pressure or mist, no in between. We stayed for 5 nights and the sheets were only changed on the very last night, even when we'd requested the "make up room" earlier in the stay. Also the lift always stops on level 2 (reception) and there are only 3 lifts for the whole hotel so it got a bit slow and congested at times.

- suakim (9/5): 쇼핑좋아하는 분이라면 강추하는 위치 - 일본 숙소 치고 방도 넓고 매일 생수 주는것도 좋았고, 대욕장도 규모는 작았지만, 피로를 풀기에 충분했습니다. 숙소복귀할때 우메다에서 지하도로 걸어오는것보다 한큐백화점 2층의 공중다리?쪽에서 내려온 다음에 지상으로 걸어오는게 훨씬 나아요. 다리에서 내려와서 걷다보면 호텔 건물이 보여서 찾기 편합니다! 오히려 지하도가 훨씬 헷갈리더라구요 ㅠㅠ 한국돌아올떈 공항 리무진버스 히비스 오사카 역에서 타면 가까워요! 정류소까지 약 8분정도 걸립니다. 직원분들도 친절했고, 조식도 맛있었어요! 조용한 방 요청했는데, 센스있게 제일 끝방으로 배정해줘서 2박동안 정말 편안하고 조용하게 묵었습니다 :) 저는 조식 포함 예약이라 상관없었는데, 만약 별도로 비용을 내야한다면 (3,800엔) 조오금 부담이 되는 가격이에요 ㅠㅠ 그리고 안전상의 이유겠지만 창문을 열지 못한다는점이 아쉬웠습니다!

- Jelena (9/5): - The hotel location is very good. It is close to Osaka Station, where JR fast trains start for many trips. There are many restaurants and shops near the hotel. The room is bigger than normal rooms in Japan and very comfortable. I did not like that the bed sheets were not changed every day. The elevators were slow, and there were many guests in the hotel. The cleanliness was not very good. The staff was polite, but they could not speak English at a basic level.

- Md Rajib (10/5): A welcoming, clean, and convenient hotel we’d happily return to in Osaka - We stayed at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka and had a wonderful experience throughout our stay. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk to both the train station and the bus stop, making it incredibly easy to get around Osaka. 7‑Eleven and FamilyMart are also only a few minutes away, and there’s even a chemist located right on the ground floor, which was very convenient. The hotel is clean, modern, and well maintained. Our room was spacious compared to many other hotels in Japan, giving us plenty of comfort and room to relax after long days of sightseeing. The overall atmosphere of the hotel feels calm, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always greeting us warmly and were happy to help whenever needed. Another big plus is the number of restaurants all around the hotel, offering everything from quick meals to sit‑down dining within a short walk.

- Wojciech (2/5): I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to anyone - There was nothing to like about this property, I would not recommend anyone to stay there. It was a very disappointing experience: staff were not nice or friendly, hungry for money very unhelpful when I needed anything especially when it was raining heavily and they did not have enough umbrellas to give so I could not go out to buy water after being locked in my room for 4hrs, I asked them to give me a bottle of water but they said no as they only give 2 bottles a day which I was shocked to hear even though they had restaurant and buffet breakfast area. No chance to early check in - I wanted to check in at 2:30 because of heavy rain they side I need to come back at 3 or pay extra. Very Disappointing

- Olivia (9/5): Comfortable and Quiet Stay In Osaka - Quiet dispite being right in the center of Osaka. Close to various stations including umeda. The onsen was a nice touch. Staff was great - and the room was large (Again for being in Osaka my expectations were exceeded) Onsen was a bit smaller than I expected. It was nice to have, just small! A bit of a walk from umeda in the underground. Google maps will be your friend but it is tricky.

- atsuko (6/5): OK - 朝食は良かった 大浴場に部屋着で行けると言われましたが、その格好ででたらチェックインしてくるスーツ姿の男性がたくさんいて、女性向きではないと感じました
- Leslie Eve (8/5): Convenient location with a helpful staff. - The location was convenient — easy access to a subway and a big underground shopping mall. The staff was very kind to ship a left item to another hotel for us and let us stow our bags when we arrived early. The rooms were clean and the combo washer/dryer worked well (although drying is always slow in those combination machines - 4 hr total cycle). The room is tight but that’s typical for Japanese hotels and the square footage was clear on booking.com.

- Katherine (10/5): - The staff were very nice, our room was cleaned and supplies replenished everyday, the hotel was very nice and modern. It’s a bit of a walk from Osaka-Umeda Station, about 10+ mins depending on how fast you walk. Walking back to the hotel with tired kids was a bit of a challenge but otherwise it was a great hotel.
- Kurt Michael (7/5): Zimmer ist das Geld nicht wert - Frühstück top, Lage top - Gute Lage in der Nähe zum Central Station …. eigentlich ein sehr gutes Frühstück - mit richtigem Brot Wie fast immer: ein sehr kleines Zimmer, in schlechter Lage (die letzte Lage) und einem Bad wie in einem Camping-Bus

- Cawley (7/5): Good location but it has the bad smell in the toilet as soon as we walk in the room has talk to staff that service room - Public sauna and onsen The hotel has the sewage smell in toilet and all over the hotel doesn’t smell clean but I’m sure it clean , hotel staff really good give us fresh towels and top up amenities daily
