• Silke (7/5): Hochzeitsreise - Die Lage war super.Ganz nah an einer Torfkirche und soo viel Natur drumherum. Der Frühstücksraum war richtig schick und das Buffet hatte reichlich Auswahl. Das Personal wirkte etwas abwesend. Die Zimmer sind doch recht beengt und leider sehr hellhörig. Wir konnten den Nachbarn beim Duschen singen hören. 🤪

• Charlotte Isabel (4/5): Für eine Nacht auf Grund der guten Lage in Ordnung. - Die Lage war super, toller Blick über die Landschaft und in der Nähe vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Zimmer war sauber. Frühstück inklusive. Wir haben im Hinterhaus geschlafen, das aus Containern besteht. Es war entsprechend hellhörig und nicht so gut in Schuss: die Wände hatten Risse, das Waschbecken war gesprungen und die Badezimmertür lies sich nur mit Gewalt schließen. In unserem Urlaub haben wir in 6 verschiedenen Unterkünften geschlafen und es war mit Abstand die schlechteste. Wenn man im Haupthaus schläft, sieht es mit Sicherheit deutlich besser aus.

• Karolina (10/5): - Bardzo ładny i czysty pokoj, przepyszne śniadanie, polska i miła obsługa. Naprawdę polecam, szczególnie, że hotel znajduje sie w tak pięknym i naturalnym miejscu, bardzo blisko Parku Skaftafell. Kawa i herbata w pokoju bardzona plus.

• Saskia (8/5): Goed - Goede locatie, uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Fijne bedden Het doucheputje in de badkamer liep niet goed door, waardoor er veel water in de badkamer liep. Dit aangegeven bij de receptie toen we uitcheckten. Hopelijk hebben ze hier ook iets aan gedaan.

• Christopher (10/5): Great stay - Lovely location, close to the glacier and not far from Diamond beach on the East side. Food very tasty. Only option for dinner nearby is the hotel which is no problem but limited options is all.
• Patrick (8/5): - Die Zimmer sind relativ neu und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Auch die Lage war für uns perfekt, da wir am Abend noch eine Puffin Tour gebucht hatten. Beim Frühstück wirkte es etwas durcheinander. Das Personal schaffte es nicht das Bufffet immer vollständig aufzufüllen und einige Sache kamen garnicht mehr. Leider schade, da es dadurch an Wertigkeit für das Hotel verlor.

• Noémie (8/5): - Restaurant très bon et personnel agréable. Chambres confortables. Nous avions une fenêtre mais qui était totalement floutée et donnait sur l’entrée du staff (lumière). C’est dommage nous ne nous attendions pas à cela pour le prix de la chambre.

Chambre d'une autre époque dans des baraquements de chantier, inadmissible aujourd'hui, rien qu'à l'odeur on avait compris! Murs en carton, sdb pourrie, sol usé...rien de bon sauf si vous voulez en rire plus tard en évoquant vos pires souvenirs! Trop cher par rapport à d'autres hôtels bien mieux équipés.

• Saskia (7/5): Prima hotelkamer, goede ligging - De ligging was top, de kamers schoon, eigen badkamer, prima bedden. Eten in de omgeving is lastig, eten in het hotel is duur.
• Antoni (9/5): Bonito descanso en el camino - El personal del hotel fue muy amable. Aparcamiento gratuito cerca de la habitación. Está situado a medio camino entre Diamond Beach, Jökulsárlón y Svínafellsjökull, lugares que queríamos visitar. Nos tocó una habitación justo al lado de una puerta de salida que si la persona que entraba/salía no hacía caso al cartel daba un golpe molesto. El parking y la zona de acceso trasera tenía un poco de hielo que casi nos provoca una caída.

• Carol (7/5): A good , basic place to stay for a night. - It was very clean and the staff were lovely. I also liked the birds and surrounding nature. I was unaware of the ‘cold’ areas of Iceland, so I was a little disappointed with the lack of spa/ sauna. The breakfast was mediocre - the oatmeal was cold, no fresh fruit or real juice offered.

• Martina (8/5): Bello ma caldo - Struttura molto accogliente, personale gentile e disponibile. Stanza pulita, ambiente ordinato. Colazione strepitosa!! Affianco all’edificio principale una piccola chiesetta in torba con annesso cimitero, molto suggestivo. Non è stato possibile abbassare la temperatura della camera nonostante i termosifoni spenti. C’era veramente troppo caldo, abbiamo dormito con la finestra aperta. Odore un po’ forte nonostante comunque tutti gli spazi pulitissimi.

Definitely recommend as a base camp for trips to glaciers and diamond beach. - The hotel staff was super kind and helpful, since we arrived quite late due to a storm. The room was super clean and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was very nice. Breakfast was very good, had the best rhubarb jam ever! The view to the mountains from the window was 10/10.

• Andrea (7/5): Good stop near Vatnajökull, I'd go again - We enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast, even though the latter could be a bit improved. The position near the Vatnajökull glacier is nice and the Hof village has nice things around to see A thing I didn't see mentioned enough there is a Gas pump near (10ish km), which is super useful if you are going through the ring road We were in the secondary Building which is a bit bland looking and less equipped compared to what I could see from the pictures, we had a scratched mirror in the room etc etc.
