- Amber (10/5): Great stay for a quick overnight. - It was very clean. Breakfast had lots of options. Staff was friendly. Great location to LU. Waffles aren’t accessible by guests, you have to ask someone for them, but it is difficult to find someone, so we just skipped the waffles.

The hotel and grounds were clean and I felt safe with the well lit parking lot. Free hot breakfast was delicious. The staff was very nice. And there are plenty of restaurants in the area. If I’m back in this area I would definitely stay at Residence inn again.

- White (10/5): Family Reunion Stay 2025 - I like everything about this hotel. It was a great location, especially since I'm not from the area. The staff was friendly, and I did the online check-in, which was a breeze. The room was clean and the most comfortable sleeping. Breakfast was the best of any hotel I have stayed in during my travels. I will definitely stay here again when in this area. My only dislike was the entrance is on a hill where cars pop over the hill, and you can not see them until it's too late. You really have to be extra careful entering and exiting the place.

Cozy lobby area to do some work and get out of the room. Front staff was very nice. Honestly, there isn't anything I could think of. They didn't have extra sheets for the pullout bed already in the room but that's not a big deal.

I remember other staff playing around and being unprofessional. Every single time we see Jessica she is working and so professionally and kindly taking care of customers. I hope she makes it to management soon. It would be sad to see other brand take that jewel away.

- T7667OWlindam (4/5): Left but not returned - Usually I have a good experience but I left my phone cord plugged in by the bed. Called as soon as I realized in the airport. Asked to have the front deak check. Someone had already checked into the room and they told me to call the next day so they could check the lost and found from whomever cleaned my room that morning. Wouldn't it have been there when I called if the maid had seen it when cleaning? Called the next day and they couldn'd find it which means either the maid or next customer took it. While the front desk did say they would check the next day (not the day I left it), disappointing as you would think the maid service would have seen the cord and given it to the front desk before the next person checked in. Can't trust people to be honest. Someone has my cord.

I can’t say enough good things about their service. Dealing with an unexpected influx of folks due to power outages and still giving each person individual care and attention is above and beyond. Give this person a raise! :)

The coffee was lukewarm, the hot water was ice cold. Food unappealing. Apparently no one checks overnight on these items. Go out for breakfast. The mall, close by, has a Chick-Fil-A.

(Go Flames). We did have one issue with being double charged, which was corrected. We also had an issue with maid service and a bug problem but were comped for that. Overall, the hotel is clean and an excellent choice.

The staff has been super helpful, including providing extra toiletry amenities when our bags were lost during transport. Even though this is a residence property, we had housekeeping service for the two nights of our stay. Close to the only mall in the area, as well as a burger/fast food restaurant across the street that’s open after midnight, and also close by to a Walmart, and Sam’s Club. Having the mini kitchen was great, as was the full-size fridge. Highly recommend packing some microwave popcorn if you’re planning a night in. There’s a microwave in every room! The included complimentary breakfast in the morning is top-notch, including good quality, coffee, eggs, sausage, potatoes, grits, fruit/cheese, yogurt, and many pastry/bread products. The staff that attends to the breakfast station is very conscientious, Even coming around 10 minutes before closing to make sure that nothing else was needed. Would definitely recommend staying here if visiting a Liberty U student, or anytime in the Lynchburg, VA area.

The room was very spacious with a sitting area and kitchenette. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was also very spacious. Huge shower which was very good. Everything was very clean. There was no restaurant and the staff recommended a restaurant off the shopping mall which was walkable. Breakfast was very good although we got there late and there wasn’t much available. Overall a good experience.

For some reason we had a king suite with a kitchen and a big bathroom. It was so nice and we did not pay any extra. I wish that we were staying longer. The location is nothing special but it is very close to LU. Right across the parking lot from the mall and Cookout is on the other side. The beds, pillows, linens, towels, breakfast, staff, and grounds were all good. Things seemed new. I would definitely stay here again.

Also was told they needed to shock it then the next morning was told they would have to get a pool person to look at the ph balance. There was a dog in the room next to us that barked all night long. The worker that was manning the breakfast would stand and constantly stare at guest for periods at a time. Also once we got their to check in we had to wait for like 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in
- Gustavo (10/5): - Clean and very friendly. Only issues i had was the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom was partially broken, pool was out of service, and elevators were scary. But having the basketball hoop was a great amenity! Shopping is very close!
- Molly (8/5): ?bug bites - Everything was good until we got home and my husband had some type of bug bites all over him. He was the only member of our family to have them, and we think it was from the couch in the sitting area because he was the only one that sat there at night to watch tv. Room was spacious and breakfast was fair. They ran out of waffle spray and said “ that’s all for today. We won’t be getting any more”. Beds were fine for the most part and big bathroom. But silly complaint, the doors to the rooms would not stay open without propping with something.
- mark5545768 (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Very clean great location lots of amenities. Big spacious room comfortable bed room was pretty much soundproof. I see some reviews complaining of the bathroom fan noise. I like having a fan, just shut the door? Tons of stores and restaurants nearby. Great mall within walking distance. Pool was nice. Breakfast was standard Marriott. Staff was friendly. Definitely stay again when in the area. Overall great hotel and great stay.

- Leah (10/5): Our favorite hotel in all of Lynchburg - The beds in this overnight accommodation are luxurious! Our first stay I liked the bathroom better but the beds were perfect after a very long laborious day of work. The guy at the front desk for both visits was exceptionall hospitality wise. We work in hospitality and I would hire him or someone with skills and character like him and we have a very high standard for hospitality. He was phenomenal. I don’t remember his name but he had long red hair (tied back) See above
