• jeanne (10/5): We had a wonderful time in the attic room. There were many stairs but we knew that and it was fine for us. - The location is perfect. The room was comfortable and unique. Everything was clean and the breakfast was superb. Nothing.

A reggeli kínálata és ízei szuperek, a személyzet minden tagja nagyon kedves és segítőkész volt. A szobánkban a wc ülőke le volt törve, mozgott, illetve a zuhanyból a víz kifolyt. Amikor vendégek voltak a felettünk/mellettünk lévő szobákban, akkor át lehetett hallani a lépteiket, beszédüket.

• Delva (10/5): A pleasant stay and a good base for exploring the area. - Great central location with everything within walking distance. The room had good soundproof windows, so it was quiet despite being in a busy area. We had a lovely castle view with a balcony, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast is provided by a local restaurant downstairs, not comparable to a full hotel buffet, but very good quality for a B&B-style stay. Parking near the port can be challenging during a long weekend, though we were able to find a space on a weekday. There is no kettle in the room, and the stairs are very steep, which makes carrying luggage up quite difficult. The property may not be suitable for guests with accessibility or mobility issues.

• Giselle_H_Ratain (10/5): Mediterranean Marvel - We enjoyed a refreshing and renewing stay in our suite with a balcony overlooking the bay and port of Nafplio a charming resort town with million dollar views! The hospitality was unbeatable. We were treated to concierge service for everything, from where to plan our next Greece vacation destination, to Greek language tutorials, to a jiffy tire repair appointment when we had a nail in our rental car tire!- kudos to the entire staff especially the resourceful young man- Panagiotis! Breakfast was farm to table because the owners have a nearby farm where they make their own Greek yogurt, cheeses, and raise the chickens that lay those farm fresh eggs! The breakfast area is charmingly appointed with a Greek modern art twist using vintage material of metal and regional stone. - like having breakfast in an art gallery!

• GEORGIA (10/5): Wonderful, quaint and cute stay! - This hotel was outstanding; we couldn't believe how well priced it was. We only stayed for one night, so were looking for a value offering, but this property exceeded our expectations by far! Staff were incredibly friendly and offered a complimentary upgrade. The views were incredible and the location is simply the best in Nafplion. Breakfast was unreal, beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious and luxurious, and the rooms were well proportioned. There are a lot of stairs - Narrow stairs, and very steep, so make sure you are fit and ready for a hike, but it will be well worth it!
• Richard (9/5): Beautiful Apartment breakfast did not impress - Everything was very clean and the upgraded (thank you) room and bathroom beautiful. Great shower. Comfortable bed. We appreciated the welcome drink and excellent croquettes. Breakfast was average but the coffee was terrible, the replacement coffee was the same quality and obviously nobody had checked and rectified the problem,or indeed seemed very concerned. Disappointing. Even on one of the quietest of winter nights there was some noise from the street for light sleepers this may be a problem in a very busy summer.

• Nicola (10/5): Absolutely fabulous - The hotel and our room were absolutely gorgeous. Very stylish and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was great and the shower was amazing! Nice views (note: the castle is not the fort!) I would 100% stay there again and would recommend it too. Very nice breakfast. Great location in a quiet part of town but still in the thick of it. Nothing but a kettle in the room would have been put to good use!

Τρομερά άνετο κρεβάτι με φοβερό στρώμα. Τα σκαλιά είναι λίγο δύσκολα, γιατί η σοφίτα είναι στον 3ο όροφο. Προς τιμήν τους όμως , είχαν ενημερώσει αυτόματα από την κράτηση για αυτό, οπότε το γνωρίζαμε. Το δωμάτιο όμως σε αποζημιώνει απόλυτα οπότε ξεπερνάς την δυσκολία των σκυλιών!

• Anastasia (8/5): - Το ξενοδοχείο είναι κυριολεκτικά στην καρδιά του Ναυπλίου. Τα δωμάτια είναι πλήρως ανακαινισμένα και έχουν όλες τις ανέσεις. Το πρωινό είναι πολύ φτωχό, δεδομένου μάλιστα ότι προσφέρεται σε κανονικό εστιατόριο, ιδιόκτητο των επιχειρηματιών του ξενοδοχείου! Αν και μας είχαν ενημερώσει πως το κατάλυμα δεν διαθέτει ανελκυστήρα λόγω του διατηρητέου χαρακτήρα του, το να ανεβαίνει και να κατεβαίνει κάποιος με βαλίτσες τρεις ορόφους με στενές και απότομες σκάλες χωρίς να υπάρχει κάποιος υπεύθυνος να βοηθήσει είναι απογοητευτικό.

• KiraS159 (10/5): Phenomenal breakfast and comfortable suite - The suite was comfortable and nicely decorated with a view of the harbor. The real treat was the breakfast, served at the associated Wild Duck restaurant downstairs - an all-you-can-eat buffet of egg dishes, Greek yogurt, fruit, cheeses made by one of the owners, baked goods, served with tasty cappucinos and fresh-squeezed orange juice. We ate in the open-air seating right on the harbor. One of my favorite memories of our 2-week trip.

Welcoming recetion Dimitra ( she carried our laguage uostairs!) breakfast … proximity to everyything👍 we walked to the beach and to all restaurants. The hotel is right across the sea and a good size port parking lot.

• Christina (9/5): Wie immer, wir haben schon mehrfach gebucht. - Lage super, freundliches Personal Die Zimmer haben zu viel Dekoration, Bücher, getrocknete Blumen, etc. Dadurch wird es etwas eng, wenn man z.B. den Couchtisch nutzen möchte.

• aul (5/5): Central location in old town, worth to use for a short visit. - Good service, we ordered flowers on the room, and this was handled in an excellent way. The location of the hotel was fantastic and in the centre of old town. Short way to go everywhere in the city centre. Silent area. The wifi worked properly. The restaurant Wild Duck is pretty good. The pictures of the breakfast was quite different between online and the breakfast we were served. The bread could have been fresh, we found it dry. They should also make scrambled egg, and soft boiled eggs. There is not any elevator, so we had to climb 2 steep floors to get into the room. However we are in old town, so we must accept it is difficult to upgrade with elevator. The room was ok.

The room was huge and beautifully furnished. The staff were very friendly and the position is perfect for exploring the old town. We loved it.

• TonyD511 (4/5): Good location and staff but a lot of negatives - We were allocated an attic room. We asked for a normal room but they were fully booked. The attic room is up 3 flights of steep narrow stairs that would not pass code in most countries. If you are over 5 foot tall you must crouch to access anywhere but the centre of the room. My head still has marks. The hotel and room are decorated in shabby chic which might have been ok 10 years ago but now looks very grungey. An old mattress on the floor instead of a couch.

Loved the terrace and view in the attic room, but AC wasn’t cool enough and we sweated throughout our stay. Would have like access to a tea kettle and iron. Breakfast had great reviews but our party of 4 agreed it was sub par. Coffee and OJ were good. Nice staff, comfy beds, falls a little short on amenities.

• Mandy (10/5): Wonderful cozy friendly hotel - Loved our 3 night stay here. We stayed on the second floor with the balcony facing the sea. It was beautiful opening the windows each morning. The room is very comfortable and cozy with a couch, chairs, throw pillows and extra throw blankets. Refrigerator for extra drinks. The location is perfect in the old town near everything we wanted to see and do within Nafplio. The hotel staff is very warm and welcoming. Amazing breakfast including coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. Their cheese is freshly made by them with their associated restaurant. The hostess was so kind and even helped me to call my airline when I was having trouble getting my phone to work. I highly recommend.

• myifrach (2/5): Unscrupulous Dimitra (Δήμητρα δεν έχει ακεραιότητα) - Do note that the best room (suite with a balcony + bourtzi castle and sea view) comes with two unexpected surprises: (1) a smell of a sewage which surrounds the whole room; and (2) a refusal to a refund arising from a cheaper price of the alternative room allocated ... If this fit your expectation - go ahead and book the room. Yes, I am aware to the high rating of the hotel. This is why I choosed it. But as I have experienced it, the high rating does injustice with potential guests. They might fall into a trap and find themselves in a smelly room. It should be noted that there was a consent about the sewage smell in the room. They tried to explain that the smell is: (1) because of the air-condition; on the next day - (2) as the hotel is in the middle of the old town near the port... (The recording of the conversation is with me, so beaware of a false response...) quite a poor explanation, to say the least. Never have I read any comment about any hotel in the old part of Nafpilio suffering from a sewage smell. Due to the undisputed sewage smeel, they agreed to allocate me another room, some 25% cheaper and with no smell. However, despite of the 45€ per night difference (90€ for 2 nights), the manager, Dimitra, agreed to refund me only 10€ per night... This is manifestly unscrupulous. Read, take the above into your considerations and decide if all this unpleasentness suits you while having a vacation.

• Laszlo (10/5): Just Perfect - Located in the old centre of arguably one of the prettiest towns, down a quaint laneway one street back, this beautiful suite is stylish and well appointed. It has an amazing position and view directly over the promenade, marina and bay. It's perfect. If you are driving, you must park at the port, but follow it along all the way adjacent to the promenade and you can park almost opposite its location, within a very short stroll. Directions to collect the key at reception was a tad confusing, but it was a tiny inconvenience in an otherwise amazing experience.
• Daniel (10/5): Dachzimmer mit Balkon - Ich hatte ein super Dachzimmer mit Balkon. Im Restaurant gab es einen Willkommensdrink. Das Frühstück war ok. Es war erstaunlich ruhig. Parken am Hafen je nach Tag und Zeit ist jedoch fast unmöglich. Ich habe an der 25th Martiou geparkt.

• Pavlina (9/5): Superb - Centrally located in the pedestrianised area & few minutes walk from free parking area near port. Staff friendly & helpful. Room was spacious, clean and shower cubicle quite roomy with lovely good quality toiletries & slippers. Breakfast, which is served at their restaurant was superb. Homemade pies, jams etc. And a choice of coffees (as opposed to other hotels that just serve machine rubbish). Overall very satisfied & it justifies the price. Would def. stay again. Too many stairs to get to our room with heavy cases (no lift) but not really a problem.

• Cassandra (10/5): Short stay on our Greek honeymoon tour - Clean and fresh decor, liked the link with the Wild Duck below as it was one of the best restaurants in the area. Great location, parking for the area is all in one big lot, but it’s free!
• mikepR4482VC (10/5): Cool hotel suites. Lovely location and great staff. - This hotel is very cool and love the authentic shabby chic look. Staff very helpful and friendly. Really loved the room overlooking the castle. Small but perfect. Shower was literally wow. Bed was comfortable and large. Loved the breakfast in the Wild Duck downstairs. Only critic was too many stairs for us, so if you have a baby or toddler stay on first floor .

• Stuna00 (8/5): What's not to like - We had a standard room on the second floor - good size, nicely decorated, comfy bed, very quiet with nice bathroom and super towels. Breakfast is good especially the freshly squeezed orange juice and spinach tart. The location couldn't be better, right in the centre, steps from the harbour with free parking. If you have any mobility issues, it's not a good option as the stairs are very, very steep.

Location is ideal!!! - Perfect location, particularly since the city center is closed to cars, and guests are required to park at the waterfront, which is across the street from the hotel. We saw so many people lugging their suitcases up multiple lights of stairs further into the historic district. Staff were helpful and friendly. Comfortable room, efficiently laid out. Roomy shower with great water pressure. Wonderful breakfast with something for everyone, and a beautiful space to have breakfast and relax. Very highly recommend!! Nothing!

• Holly (10/5): I would stay here again - We stayed in the loft upstairs which was very comfortable. A deck towards the city and a skylight to the sea view. A great location and quiet. Had all the amenities of shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and lots of space. It is 55 steps to get up there though. Breakfast is free next door and very good, staff was very friendly.
• Christopher (10/5): - Excellent property & great location! Reception staff appeared to have too much to do, maybe have more than 1 staff on duty at busy times. Breakfast at Wild Duck was superb & staff were extremely responsive & assisted in getting us out for an early tour! Bathroom lighting could be redesigned to be brighter & more functional. Highly recommend!!
