• Anthony (9/5): Enjoyable Weekend - You felt really welcome from first arrival until departure, the room was at the front of the hotel with a sea view. The staff were very friendly, you had the choice of several breakfast (and I must admit the cooked breakfast was beautiful). There's steps at the front of the hotel and with mobility issues, you could use the rear entrance. The hotel was just a minute from the main shopping street at one side and the same at the other side from the shopping precinct. Overall really enjoyed the stay. There's nothing really not to like.
• Brigitta (9/5): - The location at the ocean and the seaview from our room was beautiful. We found a parking spot right in front of the hotel. We didn't eat at the hotel, so I can't say anything about breakfast.
• Stevens (8/5): - The view was stunning. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was excellent, remaining at a constant temperature. Our towels were not changed for the whole of our four night stay, and we ran out of toilet paper, which was not replenished. We informed a member of staff who said he would see to it, but it wasn't done. We could not shower the last full day and the last morning as the towels were soaked by then having been left for collection in the shower.

• Cody (10/5): Fabulous stay for our 10th anniversary. - The view was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Couldn't of picked a better location for our anniversary. Price is well worth comfort & view. If on lower floors the plumbing can be a little loud so if you're a light sleeper like me have ear plugs/headphones

• PATRICIA (8/5): The staff were very friendly and helpful and I look forward to staying here again one day! - It is centrally located on the promenade and one can easily walk just 10 minutes to the start of the pier. It is also an easy walk to the Main Street for shopping. The view from our room was stunning! I appreciated the lift to make getting our bags to the room very easy and that they serve breakfast until 10! The room was a little dated and the bathroom quite small.

• spencer (8/5): Very close to the Venue Cymru, - We felt very welcome when we arrived. The lounge and bar were very homely. The room had all we needed for our one night stay. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty to eat. Everywhere was clean and tidy. We were not there for long enough.

• Lee (8/5): Nice enough people and rooms were clean enough and well equipped but do yourself a favour and pay less and stay at Centr - Clean, well located for Venue Cymru, nice atmosphere. Was booked into Can-Y-Bae yet when we arrived were taken next door into the adjoining hotel the Central. Yet from outside the hotels look like 2 separate businesses? The one I booked was listed as 4* yet Central was a 3*. When I queried this on checkout the next day the man in reception said something about an issue in some rooms in Can-Y-Bae so guests were put into Central. Which when I checked was less than Can-Y-Bae for the nights stay for 2 rooms. He said wed paid more as we requested sea view rooms. We hadn’t, they were listed as the only rooms available that night at Can-Y-Bae. I was going to an event at the nearby Venue Cymru. I didn’t need to see the sea I just needed a bed.

• stephen (10/5): - The hotel was along the promenade of Llandudno easy walk to main high street, 10 min walk to train station, 10 min walk to Orme tram station the room was comfortable clean and there was tea and coffee making facilities i didnt have a breakfast in the hotel so i cant comment i only saw the staff on the first day to check in on the whole its in a nice location for everything beach, shops, buse and trains, i would stay here again.

• Sharon (10/5): Fantastic sea front hotel - Fantastic sea view (with complimentary seagull! 😁). Lovely comfy bed and cosy room idealy located for our show at Venue Cymru. Good tea/coffee facilities and good sized room. Lovely soft towels. Great that we had a key fob access to get into the hotel when we came back late. Need mugs in the rooms as the teacups, although nice, only hold a thimbleful! Hairdryer lead a bit too short to use the mirror when drying your hair.
• Steven (10/5): Brilliant and very relaxing - We had a beautiful sea view and the room was lovely. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. There was quite a wide choice of breakfast options. We would have liked filter coffee or cappuccino to drink at breakfast time beause we don't like instant coffee.

• June (10/5): Amazing hotel - Amazing hotel. Couldn't do enough for me. So friendly. Room was really comfy and clean. Will definitely use them again.

• Kamani (8/5): A great stay in a lovely location with friendly staff. - Great location, and views. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The water temperature of the shower was variable , this may have been due to multiple guests having showers at the same time.

• Jana (10/5): - Very welcoming. All the staff were top class Single room clean, quiet and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. £10 choice of several enticing breakfasts. Only six minutes walk along the front to the theatre. Parking on street is charged from 10am-4pm, wasn’t a problem for me. I’ll stay here again on my next visit.

• Celia (6/5): - Public areas very good and comfortable, our bedroom was in need of an upgrade, the headboards were faux leather and in very poor condition, the leather was flaking off and landing on the pillows through the night, the bed linen needs to be replaced including duvets. The staff however were more than helpful and very pleasant and friendly, a welcoming check in. I wouldn’t stay here again unless the bedrooms have been upgraded, we only booked one night.

• Joanne (6/5): Personally wouldn't stay here again - The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly and worked hard. The breakfast was good quality bacon,Sausage and perfectly cooked egg. The toilet in the bathroom was very loose, we were worried it was going to come away from the system when we sat on it. The bed was too soft for us so didn't have a good sleep (thats a preference issue thou so not hotels fault)Breakfast was 9.99 for full Welsh breakfast which is supposed to include muffins and scones but they were not out when we stayed and the portions of the hot breakfast were quite small for the price. We wouldn't stay again as we felt it the whole stay was overpriced for what it is.

• Peter (10/5): Can y Bae. Definitely go there. - Bed was excellent. Dining room and breakfast were very good and staff are extremely helpful and courteous. Room was clean and well appointed. Bathroom was small and very cramped and shower definitely needs upgrading.

The room was clean and the staff we spoke with were polite and knowledgeable. The bed felt smaller than a double bed which made sleeping uncomfortable for my partner and I. There was a coaster covering a hole in the wall to replace a missing lamp above the bed.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff is very friendly. The hotel is a bit old (as you can imagine) but everything is fine. It’s clean, comfortable bed, excellent location. There are a lot of seagulls as it’s seaside. The closer to the pier, the more seagulls you have (noise). So this hotel have a good balance between the distance to the pier and seagull noise level! Street parking around the hotel, not easy to find one at daytime but not too bad after 5pm.

• Maija Taurina (8/5): Lovely place - Great location. Room a bit too small but I guess its ok for the value paid. All facilities very good. Lovely seaview from window. Did not enjoy breakfest. Very slow services. The toast came 10 minutes after requested and we already finished food when they finnally came. Please consider self service toast facility so all guests can cook as many toasts as they need and when they need.

• Kenneth (8/5): OUR STAY AT CAN-Y-BAE - Parking is around but it's not free just budget it in to your stay, check in was okay, hotel is clean and staff polite, our room no32 on the 3rd floor was extremely small but comfortable, view from window isn't good bathroom again extremely small but workable, constant noise from dogs barking but we are easy going and accepted it can be a nuisance to some, OVER ALL ACCEPTABLE STAY BUT WOULDN'T WANT A ROOM THAT SMALL AGAIN COSTLY AT £114 FOR WHAT WE GOT.

• Michelle (7/5): Short but happy break. - The breakfast was amazing and cooked to order I had porridge with fruit and a Belgian waffle with bacon and maple syrup, I had wholmeal toast with marmalade as well, the bed was comfortable and the room quiet.The welcome from all the staff was friendly.and we were upgraded to a sea view which we enjoyed We didn’t book dinner our fault.

• Salmon (10/5): - Friendly staff all polite and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean . Lovely location The double bed was hard and smaller than we are used too. That was the only issue.
• John (4/5): - Bathroom was very small indeed - temperature of water (we pointed this out as we left) in the shower and also hot tap was scalding hot - we could not enjoy a shower which was really disappointing- it was unsafe at that temperature and the dial on the shower did not work to cool it down in room 22
