• Carmen (6/5): - The rooms facing the street are significantly sized but poorly designed. Too much wasted space. Big rooms with no real closet to hang clothes. I changed my room because you can hear all the noise from motorcycles and cars passing through. The floors in new room were filled with hair and smelled of cooking oil as if someone had been frying food in the suite. I called front desk which sent staff to clean the room and I also asked to change sheets as I had no guarantee they had been replaced. Its a nice hotel but hygiene is the last thing a guest should be faced with complaining about. Also their restaurant serves coffee from a machine. Coffee is important to people easy to make so offering coffee you can pick up from a gas station isn’t the way to go.

• Daniel (6/5): - There’s no room service or cleaning without having to pay additional fees. There’s no mini bar in the rooms as advertised. And there’s no people there. When asking to change my room, I was told that they had to see if one was available. Later to learn that there were only a few rooms rented in the entire place for the whole weekend. Oh and there’s also no daily buffet. Not enough people for one I’m guessing. Could be nice place, but managed and obviously promoted.
• LUIS (8/5): - Room was big needs some improvements, easy check in, we had room by pool which was nice to open the sliders and the pool is there, didnt eat at hotel, did not like ,no room cleaning service, had to pay 15 us dollars to have the room cleaned which is ridiculous, i been all over the domincan republic and all aroind the world and never, never to pay to have the room cleaned.
• Halimo (10/5): - Our stay overall was good, but unfortunately the elevator was not working, and we even got stuck inside. We tried using the alarm and phone, but no one came to assist, which was a very frightening experience. This really needs urgent attention for guest safety. Aside from that, the location is great — many beachfront restaurants nearby, and the locals were wonderful. The rooms could use more regular cleaning or upkeep since no housekeeping service is provided. With a few improvements, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

• Yanes M (10/5): Excellent service!! - My husband and I have this great hotel on repeat… we have been here more than 15 times and the reason for this is the great service starting with the manager Michael; reception Jeuri and Natauris and Aronis at the bar… they are all very courteous; helpful and joyful. The bartenders and lifeguard are so nice. If you are looking for a place to feel spoiled. This is the place!!

• Rodger (6/5): Nice spot, never again - Room and grounds were nice, location worked out very well. Felt there were to many rules. Had to wear a colored bracelet. My family could not bring any guests onto property for meals at our room. Very restrictive. We were stopped from using the walk-over bridge with guests on our way to restaurant because guests did not have bracelet. Fresh towels, for room you must pay. Front desk very unresponsive, no sense of urgency. Checkout. Juan at front desk had us wait while housekeeper went through room to ensure all "Inventory" was there. We waited 20 minutes, and housekeeper reported a fork was missing from utensil drawer. I assured Juan that we did not take any forks, he said we should have checked every single item when we checked-in. He told me we had to pay 3 dollars for the fork, or we could not check out! I paid him the 3 dollars and at the same time the housekeeper called back she found the fork. He laughed, said "sorry" and gave me back the 3 dollars. Seriously, no sense of apology, nothing that indicated he even cared that he delayed us. Overall the vibe here was distrust, not allowed to have guests over and everything has a fee or charge for what is normally basic service at other hotels.

• Michelle (6/5): - The location is great, but one of the things I really value about staying in a hotel is having fresh towels provided daily—especially after a day at the beach, which wasn’t offered here. There's also an abandoned building right next to the property that looks like it was meant to be part of the hotel but was never completed, which affects the overall feel. I stayed here mainly to run errands, so it served its purpose. However, if I were coming for a true vacation, I’d probably choose a different place.

I would gladly stay buy making sure in advance I won’t get one of those rooms again…. Other than that, staff more than amazing, from the security guard on the entrance, receptionist, cleaning staff, top 🔝…
• Aisha (10/5): - This property is outstanding. I actually stayed at the Imperial Suites on the beach, which is across from the Presidential Suites after 1 day. I loved the Imperial Suites very much. But the Beach view of the Imperial Suites convinced me to change the next day. But the Staff and the openness to everything was outstanding. I loved everything about this hotel. The food in the restaurant was just okay. It did not have a lot of offerings for my taste. But there are restaurants up and down the beach. I cannot say enough how safe I felt here. I felt safe enough that I slept with my balcony doors open throughout the night.

• Thomas Stephen (8/5): - Overall this a great place to stay. Clean great pools and quiet if you book away from the road. HOWEVER. The listing is misleading. Main picture shows a sea view. There is no sea view from presidential suites as it across a busy main road from the beach with huge building blocking your views. Across the road is the sister apartments lifestyle and it the pics from lifestyle that show the sea. Also. Garden view means you are in the main road and will be kept awake all night from road noise which is very loud. Choose a 1 bed or similar with pool view to be away from the road. Also. They do not service your room unless you pay. I stayed for 11 days and asked for at least clean towels which they obliged after day 6 but no clean sheets !! I was a solo traveller so no major issue for me. Kitchen is fairly well equipped. Micro. FF. Hob kettle coffee maker, toaster maker etc. you get a full list of everything upon arrival and if anything is missing they will charge you at the end. I saw an American couple who were missing 2 hand towels and they were charged $20. They said my ashtray was missing but as I don't smoke and had no use for it or even ever saw it I refused to pay. When you check out they want you to wait while they check the room. This is not a quick process and after 20 minutes I left anyway as I had a plane to catch. Just be aware of this as it could mess up your timings. Check out 11. Great pools and beds. I would stay again for l sure.

• Julie (6/5): - When I entered the bathroom, there was a pubic hair on the towel beside the sink. I know that sounds made up, but it is the truth. Other than that, the room seemed clean. The bed was incredibly hard and it was difficult to sleep. The room was right by the road and it was extremely loud with all the cars, motorcycles and associated honking. This also made it hard to sleep at night. The location is exceptional as the hotel is right by the beach. Even though we were on the other side of the road, there was an elevated walkway just outside our room on the third floor. The walkway connected to the other part of the hotel so we could easily cross over and get to the beach. If you don’t mind hard beds and possible cleanliness issues, the location can’t be beat.

No matter where in Dominican the street to walk down or hotel on street is noisy. I don’t know why everyone has to rev their engines but they do. Could possibly come up with some organic or man made sound barriers to help. Prices in restaurants a bit higher. Overall, nice place, clean, lots of pool spaces and close to beach with a convenient overpass to cross the crazy streets!
• neil (6/5): - this is a beautiful property with great pools and a fabulous ocean front. i would have rated it as a 4, but my shower did not heat up beyond tepid for the last 4 nights. for anyone going, this is a great place, but it is not a hotel, it is a timeshare. if you want your room cleaned, or new towels it costs $20.00. the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and tasty, and there are 30 oceanside restaurants within walking distance to meet anyones needs. you can stay here for a week, and never leave the beach. the rooms all have wifi and the junior suite that i had was very nice and large. it was supposed to have a garden view, but the balcony actually overlooked the street. if you are from New York, you will be comforted by the noise, but walking up at 4:00 a.m. and hearing a motorcycle going by honking its horn, takes getting used to. i would say that this is a great place to stay, but temper your expectations
• Lanakila (4/5): Ok for a night - While the property was fine and the room was decent, there was a small roach in my bathroom and the security guard was rude to my friend that lives in the area and to my fellow traveler. The front desk staff was generally friendly, but there clearly a bias towards older white guests.
• Daryl (2/5): There are better choices - When you look at this hotel online, it looks as though you were on the beach. What you are on a very busy road looking across to the ocean. The rooms are dated. The elevator is smelly. The staff was adequate.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Housekeeping not included - I was not told there would not be any housekeeping services for the room I reserved in advance or upon arrival. I asked for towels and was warned a charge if more than 1 change of towels in 4 days!! I arrived to a mop, broom and bucket in the room but no note or cleanser that this was job to clean my room. We thought it was left by a made at first lol.
• Alby (10/5): - I always love coming to Cabarete and staying in this hotel. Sad thing is that they are NOT all inclusive. But my husband and I eat at the surrounding restaurants and they are very tasty and affordable. The meal plans at This place is too expensive and they are Not as tasty

I would consider, however they were extremely pushy, they wouldn't wash towels, we had to go purchase additional toilet paper, and when we left, they tried keeping us there so they can do an "inspection" of the room. Overall it was an ok experience(only because the doormen and cleaners were so nice), but they really need to work on the check-in/check-out process. I likely won't return to this location.

• Victoria (6/5): - This is a well located property but extremely noisy. All means of transportation are on the road 24/7. Guests don't get cleaning services unless they request it and pay for it. Also, there is a coffee maker in the room but not coffee is available not even for purchasing, and finally, at the check in Guests are asked to perform an in room inventory for them to make sure people do steal any item. I found this policy disrespectful and inappropriated.

• Lorna J (4/5): - The property itself and the room were very good, and might even rate four stars. The exception is the fourth floor where we were first located (the fifth floor has the same problem). The room balcony faces the busiest and noisiest street in the Dominican Republic; it was impossible to use. After repeated requests and two nights we were moved to the third floor, which was much quieter and had a very pleasant balcony overlooking the back garden. The room was more than adequate. The staff service, however, was non-existent by design. Hotel staff never once entered or cleaned the room (we stayed 10 days). When I asked for clean towels I was referred to the desk; they informed me that for $5 US we could have the original towels replaced by clean ones. I refused. It was by any measure, one-star-hotel service. The management of this hotel is cheap beyond compare, and are turning a first class place into a beggarly bother, apparently trying to save a few bucks by not providing their customers with services that even roadside motels provide without question. What a shame and a wasted opportunity.

Checked out early after a staff unlocked and came into my room, even though I called aloud to wait! I am not dress,her response was, doing resport,nonsense ! Room occupied..Invade our privacy. Room very spacious and clean but that changed when I saw a roach on night table. Upon checking out, admin staff halt my taxi to check room inventory, really!!! No one want anything to steal.. they charged 15US to changed bedding and suply towel, clean room..unheard of! I would not recommend and ofcourse my last visit.

Wasn’t the biggest deal since it’s hot out in DR but still. I told them on checkout….not much of a response. I would stay there again…..beautiful accommodation

Not sure if it was bc of the international call I was having issues but even when I reached someone I was disconnected or they hung up on me so it was frustrating as it took a while to evn get a human every time I called. The short period of time I did speak to someone (less than ~10m) my carrier had charged me $54. I wish there was a toll free contact or another way to communicate with them. I called to confirm my booking and they told me they couldn't find it so I found myself going back n forth btwn Expedia and them. Expedia was able to confirm for me they have my booking so I called them back to confirm myself and they were then telling me they were finally booking my reservation after I had booked it over a month prior on Expedia. Fast-forward when I get there to check in they told me they couldn't find my reservation. At this point I am irate. They eventually find it but I shouldn't have to deal with that after all the confirmation efforts I made. Not the first time booking on Expedia so it sounds like the resorts fault. My stay was about 3 days. There were some things I wasn't accustom to when I got there. They mentioned I wld only get 1 room key and no additional towels and if I requested any more I would be charged. So the policies were slightly different from my expectations. Other than that, my room was nice. There was a bit of grime on the faucet and shower handle. Cleanliness could be improved
• Luis (8/5): - I booked 2 rooms back in 2018 and then booked 10 rooms in 2019. It was such a great ALL INCLUSIVE Resort, especially the pool side snack bar!!! Now its only the room and access to the pool. They offer food packages but we refused to pay $20 per person for eggs, toast and a cup of coffee. We walked for about 5 mins to a nearby spot and purchased pancakes, scrambled eggs with toast, Avocado toast with a bowl of fruits and two cups of coffee for only $16!!! I may return because we really like the accommodations (room was spacious and clean) but maybe admin will understand that they will continue to lose money if they don’t atleast include breakfast. Oh another downside was the noise from the traffic outside especially the motorcycles.
