- Judith (8/5): A beautiful part of Italy. - The hotel is undoubtedly in a beautiful part of Italy. Minori is much quieter than the big 4 but definitely worth staying. I do wonder if the owner has lost her love for the property though. It could be so much more than it is and if she asked I’d volunteer. The room I stayed in was very clean and very functional. I had a 2nd floor room only accessible by stairs but that’s in the information. Don’t book it if stairs are a problem. The bathroom is small but of course it will be as a shower cubicle had to be added as tourist expectations rose. There was plenty hot water, clean towels and a comfortable bed. I didn’t use the air conditioning but will assume it worked fine. I had a room overlooking the road so no view and traffic noise may be a problem to some. Don’t book here if noise may be a problem as there’s nothing to be done about it. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The cleaning staff were lovely. The SITA bus stops right outside and the tabachi sells single journey bus tickets. Check the last bus back to Minori and get the one before in case they’re full. The taxi fares are astronomical €60 for 3 kilometres. Small supermarket, fruit shop etc just across the road. Cautionary tale. Unless you’re marathon standard of fitness don’t walk up to Ravello. 1500 plus steps, uneven paths and the view, well it’s ok 😉 Walking down is a doddle by comparison.
- Di Martino (1/5): Esperienza pessima sotto il profilo dell’igiene, della correttezza e soprattutto della professionalità del personale. Mi - La posizione centrale Avevamo prenotato due camere presso questa struttura e l’esperienza si è rivelata estremamente deludente sotto ogni punto di vista. Nella prima camera, appena arrivati, abbiamo trovato condizioni igieniche inaccettabili: molta polvere ovunque (che abbiamo dovuto pulire con delle salviette igienizzate), pavimento sporco, ragnatele sul soffitto e, cosa ancora più grave, il letto era pieno di peli e capelli. Una volta aperto il piumone e persino sollevando il lenzuolo, la situazione era la stessa e in particolare si segnala la presenza di una vistosa macchia giallognola sul materasso. Anche nella doccia erano presenti peli. Quando abbiamo fatto presente il problema alla proprietaria, invece di ricevere assistenza e scuse, siamo stati trattati con estrema scortesia. La proprietaria si è mostrata infastidita, sostenendo che non fosse di sua competenza occuparsi della situazione. Ci ha accompagnati in reception per fornirci delle nuove lenzuola, ma lo ha fatto con evidente riluttanza. Le lenzuola consegnate, tra l’altro, non erano nemmeno sigillate e inizialmente non voleva neppure darci le federe dei cuscini, rispondendo in modo sarcastico: “Perché anche le federe del letto sono sporche?”. Inoltre, non ci è stato fornito un nuovo piumone, costringendoci a cambiare personalmente le lenzuola sporche e a dormire senza coperta adeguata, patendo il freddo per tutta la notte. Nella seconda camera, prenotata con le stesse caratteristiche della prima e quindi comprensiva di bidet, quest’ultimo era assente nonostante fosse incluso e pagato nel prezzo della stanza. Anche qui le lenzuola erano sporche e nella doccia abbiamo trovato non solo peli, ma addirittura unghie tagliate; inoltre peli e capelli erano presenti anche negli asciugamani forniti dalla struttura. una situazione davvero disgustosa e inaccettabile per qualsiasi struttura ricettiva. Per concludere, l’hotel pubblicizza sul proprio sito la presenza di un parcheggio che in realtà non esiste.

Es así un poco sencillo y anticuado pero está en un pueblo entonces calidad precio ideal. Quizas ha ruido porque las ventanas son muy poco aisladas pero estar al lado del mar y conunicado genial con el resto de la costa amalfitana.

- David (5/5): Ok if you're willing to accept the limitations. - Right near SITA bus stop, useful grocery shop nearby. Lady abrupt, odd. I was told check-in was limited to 6, then 5pm, then they closed at 8pm. I made it with 20 mins to spare. I'd booked a room claiming to have a balcony- it's a small public terrace with tables. I'd booked breakfast- just a croissant and coffee at a bar down the road and round the corner, so had to supplement that. Internet kept dropping out.. no connection possible the last night. Ok the last morning again. Lady was downright rude.

- Mark (6/5): - The hotel itself is located at a bend of the Amalfi coastline road, so it is very noisy. Cars and motorcycles ripping around until late evening and early morning. Bring earplugs! Very convenient location though and easy to walk anywhere in town. Room was tiny, but clean and it did the job considering the price we paid. There are only 4 spaces to park and it’s a very tight fit…no coming and going. Once you park you can’t leave. There is a paid parking are across from the hotel, but it was more expensive than the 15 euro a day that the hotel charged and you may not get a space back when you return. There was more parking down by the water (2 minute walk), but we didn’t check the prices. All in all, excellent value for the money, it’s just small and noisy.

Endast för sömn. Sängarna var dock bra. Städningen ok. Dock skitiga lakan första natten. Det ligger vid genomfartsvägen i en kurva där det är trafik 04.00- 01.00. Hotellet har inga ljudisolerade fönster eller dörrar så allt hörs. Ta med hörselkåpor !

The breakfast is at a cafe near by. - The location of the hotel is great. Very close to the beach and just right to the bus stop. It is very convinent to take buses to Amalfi or Salerno. - The room is decent with the price. The little balcony is a bonus. -The breakfast. Just only 1 croissant and a cup of coffee. -The checkout. The check in /check out counter opens 10am and you have to let the cleaner to hand the room key to the owner

- Andrea (4/5): Da evitare assolutamente! - La posizione è buona, eravamo molto vicine al centro di Minori e senza auto siamo riuscite a muoverci. L'albergo necessita di una ristrutturazione completa. Gli infissi sono davvero vecchissimi e quindi si sente tutto il rumore dalla strada. Tutto è vecchio in questo albergo, compresi i materassi con le molle! Abbiamo dormito malissimo, per non dire non siamo riuscite a dormire. Le lenzuola, la camera e anche il bagno erano pulite grossolanamente, ma dappertutto era rimasto lo sporco delle persone precedenti. Avevamo prenotato una camera quadrupla per stare più comode e non ce l'hanno data per la prima notte perché ci sarebbe stato un "errore". Abbiamo passato la prima notte in una camera scomodissima piccolissima. La doccia era talmente piccola che non ti potevi neanche lavare bene. Poi abbiamo insistito per avere la camera che avevamo prenotato e ce l'hanno data, rimborsandoci anche la differenza di prezzo per la prima notte passata nella camera più piccola. Ma anche nella camera più grande era tutto vecchio, letti scomodi, bagno piccolo e vecchio. Inoltre, il bagno senza finestra puzzava di muffa. Insonorizzazione delle camere inesistente, sentivi ogni cosa che dicevano le persone nelle altre camere e nel piano di sopra. All'ingresso dell'albergo tengono al chiuso un pastore tedesco enorme che inizia ad abbaiare e lanciarsi contro la finestra ogni volta che un ospite passa, insomma, per chi ha paura dei cani questo può essere davvero spaventoso e poco adatto anche ai bambini. Direi che questo albergo è assolutamente da evitare.

The stairs are on the outside of the building. Keys to the rooms are quite weighted! This building is not a 5* but it was in our price range and it worked for us for the 2 days.

Siendo asi que lo dejé estacionado en la calle, arriba de la montaña, y al otro dia tenia una multa municipal. no me gustó el hotel, habitaciones viejísimas, la recepcionista era de la era pre glaciar, la clave de wifi era de 43 digitos y mal escrita, por suerte solo estuve un dia, el lugar es solo para pasar la tarde. - Mathilde (7/5): the room was a great price for such a wonderful location! the room/hotel itself left somethings to be desired, but a - good price for such a great location, clean room, great air-con!! staff were somewhat abrupt in manner and bed was a bit uncomfy. outside at night was also super noisy due to being on the main road with tons of motorbikes passing by at all hours.
