- Bonney (8/5): -
- Dattoli (10/5): Fantastic, great location, quite - Location
Funky Airstream
A completely different stay to the norm nothing loved it
- Milo (10/5): -
- Marc (2/5): - Location It really is a terrible place.
Dirty
No heating
The idea is great, the execution is poor.
- Ryan (6/5): -
- Greg (7/5): A bit of fun - I liked the concept
The bed was very comfortable and the games were a bit of fun It was just a little tired and need an injection of funds to bring it up to a better standard.
- Hans-Jürgen (9/5): Absolut einmaliges Hotel - Absolut einmaliges Hotel in zentraler Lage.
- Meganne (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Enjoyed a different night in the city - Area and novelty Bit rundown and noisy
- Teresa (9/5): - Such an amazing experience ,great meeting others that were staying there too
- Lucy (9/5): -
- Faith (8/5): Fun! - It was very unique. Great location No aircon even though there was an aircon remote in the airstream it didn’t work so it made for a very hot night
- Sharon (7/5): Good location , the communication and responsiveness to queries was excellent . We were given an early check in with eas - It was unique and quirky The out side area is looking tired and he in need of a refresh
- Carmen (9/5): Wonderful experience staying in an airstream in the heart of the city! - Easy to find and clean Digital key wasn’t the easiest to use
- Karen (10/5): -
- Daniel (10/5): - Amazing different idea that’s was really fun
- steven (10/5): -
- Renyard (8/5): -
- thomas (1/5): Horrible a fithfu disgusting place The van was hot with a tiny fan - Nothing
Thought it would be quirky different
It was but not good Beside a fifthly grossly alleyway
We could smell from the “van”
Disgusting hobos sleeping in there
Overall a disgusting place
Walked out without staying
- Ruth (10/5): - Unique and adventurous experience! Comfy bed, generous mini-bar & local discounts.
- Donna (10/5): -
- Marcel (10/5): Unique experience in the heart of Melbourne. - Unique experience staying in the rooftop trailer which has all amenities of a proper hotel room. Enjoyed the unique vibe and design of the trailer. Location was fantastic walking distance to the CBD. Could do with a warmer duvet for the winter.
- Brooke (9/5): Fun, quirky accommodation - Central location - Excellent location. Fun to find. It's a quirky, different accommodation experience, so take it exactly as that and enjoy! Our Airstream was spotlessly clean (from an Airbnb host perspective), unique, and a super comfy bed!
- Julie (10/5): Great being in the middle of the city but absolutely private - It was quirky and out of the ordinary. Had to supply our own breakfast There was no coffee machine as advertised. In fact there was no coffee
- kallie (10/5): Unique fun experience - Cool vibe iPad didn’t charge properly
- Lauren (9/5): -
- Taylah (5/5): - - It was in a cool location, and a cool concept The air conditioner wasn’t working and it was a 30 degree day. It seemed to be in an error mode. The blinds are terrible and let so much light in in the morning. For $320 a night I’d expect better facilities
- DAVID (1/5): Basic room hygiene and safety standards need urgent attention, particularly regarding mould. - The location was convenient, but we were unable to enjoy any facilities due to having to leave early because of the room condition. Which was a safety hazard and health risk. Our room was affected by extensive black mould, which raised serious health and safety concerns. Despite reporting the issue and leaving early, no compensation or meaningful resolution was offered, which was extremely disappointing.
- Kelly (5/5): Not even close to expectations, dated and waste of money. - Location and the quirky, cute appeal if the Airstreams. Games were good although more options would be fun. Beds were comfortable. Poor fit out inside Airstreams. No cutlery, no plates or bowls, no coffee, no microwave. An IPad for TV is ridiculous and to watch it you must sit on a tiny cushion. Turned light on for bathroom and exhaust fan cover almost fell off - hanging on by 1 screw. The facilities outside were very basic and in poor condition with rusty tables, stained and leaking bean bags. No view whatsoever unless you happened to get the front van with the spa. No outside heating - for such a big space on a rooftop in Melbourne you would think there would be some kind of heating. Outdoor cooking like a BBQ would be good and definitely a few more spas - even ones to share. There was rotting, mouldy timbers between the stairwell and van 1. The advertisement definitely does not meet the product. If the ad was clear you need to bring Everything from home you could be prepared, but in all seriousness, staying at a low budget caravan park somewhere offers better amenity.
- Tim (9/5): Perfect little get away - Great little place to stay. Was such a difference from usual rooms Was a little tricky getting in but once we got there was great
- ANNE (10/5): Great time at Hotel No - Loved the whole concept of being in an Airstream on a rooftop. Bed was comfortable, sheets were soft, loved the shower. Great minibar. Good location. The iPad was good too! Nothing to not like
- Anthea (8/5): -
- Simon (9/5): Great safe space to stay - Awesome venue, lovely set up Didn't get to meet any staff or get the free aftershave that was meant to on offer
- Christine (10/5): Great location for a different sort of city get away. - This quirky place is great. The adventure getting in is part of the fun.
The shower is amazing. The complementary bar was great took the wine on a picnic. Had trouble working out the aircon should have looked for info on iPad.
- Kath (7/5): Cute and quaint, good for a stay, wouldn’t stay again. - The property was cute, the room was cute the garden area was cute. The “amazing” stocked mini bar is not “amazing”. Yes it’s free and you don’t have to pay. But it’s the worst beer ever, and there are two beers, two sodas and a bottle of wine.
- Rebecca (3/5): -
- Kate (10/5): We had a perfect mother teenage daughter bonfing night - Location and comfort. Free parking. Great coffee downstairs.
Brilliant concept Can’t complain
- Matthew (9/5): Awesome, great location with all external facilities at your door - Location and onsite parking. The vans are perfectly equipped for a casual couples stay. Having to climb (crawl) across the bed to get in or out, but hey it’s a caravan so what do you expect.
- Rick (8/5): -
- LIANGYAO (8/5): -
- Taylah (10/5): Really cool experience, great location in the city but pricey - In the heart of the city! Parking is right underneath you and a bonus that it’s included in the cost as parking is expensive in the city. I really liked that it was something different for my partner and I to experience other than a hotel! The cost! Probably wouldn’t do it again for the cost. As what you get for the cost isn’t much!
- Nick (9/5): -
- Alexandra (10/5): Loved the experience - It was amazing, me and my friend strayed, it made me feel like Barbie If The lights that are outside could be turned off at night.
- Parker (8/5): - Locations and the experience to stay in something different Loved the experience but did find it hard for the roller door to enter even tho they did inform you it doesn't open all the time.. And stairs can be slippery when wet. Maybe a Little up keeping outside. And did get a message in the morning they had electricians doing work just turned off the power. Maybe coffee and milk and some type of bench or table to make hot drinks
- Kylie (9/5): Great stay in a cool place close to everything - The whole idea was pretty cool
- Sarah (6/5): Really unique and cool place to stay if you’re OK with minimal amenities - Vibe, location, minibar, cafe downstairs, and the mattress is super comfortable - it’s just a really cool and unique place to stay and a great way to experience the funkier side of Melbourne No hairdryer (!!!), not enough towels, pillows need replacing, not enough ventilation (windows are very rusty), and poor drainage of outdoor areas during heavy rain - whole place feels a bit run down, but not unacceptably so
- Jessica Maree (10/5): We loved it - All of the little details were well thought out. It was perfect and we loved it.😊 N/A
- Benedetta (7/5): -
- Alicia (10/5): Experience you need! - Such an awesome experience! And the thoughtfulness around it was amazing Maybe just slightly better curtains to allow for a sleep in! But honestly just nitpicking now
- Shellie (4/5): Underwhelming - The airstream idea is cool Super underwhelming for the price, with a proper business consultant it could be made so much better than a plain boring white van for 400 a night
- Jodee (9/5): Very fun and quirky. - Loved the quirkiness and the free minibar! I enjoyed the games. No lift and the toilet was running.
- Jessica (10/5): Something different than your regular hotel stay, an adventure right in the heart of the city. - A fun adventure, something different. Free minibar! Comfortable bed. Activities outside the vans, the shower was good.
- Danielle (10/5): -
- Kathleen (8/5): A very comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of the city. - Excellent location in the heart of the city. Very walkable to everything you might need. No major issues. Very relaxing to sit in the courtyard area and have a coffee and croissant from downstairs.
- Dailey (6/5): Fun if you are on leisure - but crap if you are tired - After a tired day, I just wanted to get to my room and the convoluted process was a bit much.
And I wanted a chair with a back and there were none
- James (9/5): -
- Jenna (9/5): -
- Marlene (8/5): Funky and different - Location was great. Different. No milk tea or coffee. Bit of a walk to get breakfast.
- Matt (9/5): -
- Hossein (6/5): Overall, it was an interesting and different experience, but not worth the price considering the basic quality of servic - The concept and atmosphere of the rooftop were certainly unique and different, but a few things left us disappointed. The cleanliness of the room was below standard , the sheets didn’t feel fresh, and we found hairs on the bed and floor. The bed itself was uncomfortable, and the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly.
Additionally, given the location in the heart of the busy city centre, there should be better soundproofing in the Airstream Suite. The noise at night was quite disturbing and made it difficult to rest.
- katy (10/5): -
- Sharyn (1/5): HotelNO is HellNO from me! Probably the worst accommodation at that price I’ve ever experienced. - Very little. Location was fine. James the manager, who I finally managed to contact and get help from, was nice. The young cleaning girl who helped sort a few things too, was lovely but could hardly speak English. But since the property was not staffed, she had to deal with the issues. Highly unacceptable property for the price - I moved hotels after 2 hours. Largely a hostel-type place oversold by an AI-driven welcome and check-in experience, except when I needed help the AI bot wouldn’t respond (actually it did: it said they were out sipping cocktails and for me to check my email for instructions). The airstream was tiny, cold (heating didn’t work), smelled funny, windows wouldn’t close properly, no basics, no wardrobe, and noisy with neighbours boozing outside their airstreams. Very misleading in terms of advertising and information. Buyer beware…I’d steer clear of the hype this property tries to promulgate.
- paula (6/5): - I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She said it was Fine, only there was road works that we weren’t told about. Luckily we saw the workman before breakfast and were able to move the car out before they closed the road off. Had we have waited until check out our car would have been blocked in. Sheets had a stain and shower flooded.
- Ray-J (10/5): -
- jo (9/5): - Something a little different to stay in. Quirky fun that's done simply but covers all you need for an overnight stay.Great location in the city, easy walk to anything. Free mini bar, free coffee im the Cafe downstairs. Free parking but we were u able to use as our car was too high...1.9m limit.
You will hear city noises but that's to be e pectex and waa'nt anything .major.
Communication was fantastic!
- vanessa (8/5): Something different! - Quirky, great location A bit run down, small things like faulty lighting (flickering), leaking toilet, loose vanity tap, broken towel hook and mould on the windows.
- Joanne (9/5): Well located and communication was excellent :) - Great location and coffee shop downstairs. Little noisy but expected given the location
- Nash (7/5): - Very cute concept and a cozy little space, great spot in the heart of the city We did have some difficulties with keyless access and the hearting, so it was very warm inside.
- Lisa (7/5): Good location, basic accommodation - Great location. Quirky idea. Small, too basic, not enough info, i.e., free coffee downstairs! (Only found this out from reviews after we'd checked out)! Wouldn't stay again.
- Pitman-Dennahey (5/5): Nice concept but oversold & under delivered - Quirky concept & great idea! Appealed to us as a unique experience It all felt a bit tired & neglected. Outdoor seating was all stained which really is not good enough given the premium price point. The airstream is not insulated making it really cold inside. The air con was a nightmare to deal with. On arrival we arrived late & our airstream was unlocked & the first night we only had a thin summer duvet in the bed. I managed to talk to a cleaner the next day to request a blanket thank god!!! ….not sure if our neighbour stole our blanket but seriously once again given the premium price point we shouldn’t be freezing in the middle of winter! General lack of a feeling of generosity. Saturday morning the cars is closed so could you not supply instant coffee & milk or even English breakfast tea!?! Fridge looked like it belonged in a student hostel. Bedside reading lights would be helpful.
- Crean (10/5): -
- Daniel (6/5): Potential - Was a good location for what we had on. Different than your normal motel room obviously. The complimentary wine/ beer was great. After we parked our car which was somewhat protected from a leaky roof with plastic sheets and cardboard the smell is weird. The tap in our bathroom was about to fall off and that wasn't the only thing. The attached shampoo, handwash etc on the shower wall fell off at random times during the night scaring the you know what out of us. This place has great potential to be really good but is a fair way off that. The no lighting when you arrive back at night when there's lighting around the rooftop also was annoying.
- Christopher (7/5): -
- Edna (8/5): Very good -
- Harvey (10/5): Interesting, different accommodation that promotes engagement. - I loved the setting, the free parking, all the amenities and the adventure of figuring out the doors. Nothing
- Amanda (5/5): Passable - Cute little qwerky accommodation , loved the little touches they have done that makes your stay different from your normal every day hotel , the free mini bar and little HP sprocket printer which is available to use to print out little photos is a great idea. The iPad is cool too and handy having the ceiling mount to be able to watch in bed , the bed was also very comfortable. That being said the HP sprocket printer was a nightmare to be able to use , we booked x2 separate airstreams and after hours of trying could only get 1 to work. 1 airstream came with a little speaker and the other didn't . I didn't like how because I booked x2 airstreams even though I provided separate phone number we could both unlock each other's doors , 1 of them we could actually shut the door from the outside it would only shut properly from the inside . There was a constant high pitch ringing sound throughout the whole night a lot louder in 1 but still could be heard from the other faintly. Stripped the beds the next morning to make the cleaners work a little easier and was horrified at the filthy stained doonas and mattress protectors probably would not have slept with them if we had of looked earlier. That all being said it's still a really cool place to stay for a night or weekend but would definitely suit younger adults .
- Kaylene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- Bishie (8/5): Very good -
- Kathryn (9/5): Superb -
- Cody (7/5): Good - Loved the secret aspect and the clues on getting in. Loved that it was on a rooftop. Bed linen was nice. Cute lights on roof top. Comms pre stay was great. Was nice and warm given it was a chilly winter night. Plumbing issues in bathroom. Sink, and toilet blocked. Shower also had no hot water and arrived to one of the dispensers broken and on floor. Felt a bit run down. Very noisy. Also emailed re issues and never got a reply.
- Alexandra (9/5): Highly recommended. Unique, mysterious and good fun - A great stay. It was really fun and unique and so very cool. A real oasis in the city
- Vicki (10/5): Value for money and close to a range of attractions. - It was different to anything we’ve ever experienced.
- Amy (10/5): We have the best time! It was fun and exciting to have a different experience rather than a normal (boring) hotel stay! - We loved how big and spacious the camper was, but also cozy!
The shower!!!!!! Oh my gosh! Best shower ever!!!! The pressure was soooo good!!!! Nothing! We loved it! 😍
- Kim (9/5): Great little escape in the CBD - It was so warm, the beds were very, very comfortable and the shower was just perfect. .
- Tanya (8/5): Fun, pink and mysterious! - I liked the novelty of the accommodation - fun and close to everything! I think planning for a winter set up - we had friends staying next door and it would have been nice if the outdoor area had a rainy day set up for winter :)
- Mcdonald (8/5): Very good -
- Trevor (7/5): It was one off the bucket list but not good value for money - The location and idea is great Bed was very hard
- Kaylene (10/5): Awesome highly recommend nice to find something completely different - Very comfortable close to everything coffee shop down stairs definitely would recommend and stay again Rain but stay in the van and watch Netflix
- Rowena (10/5): A great and very memorable experience - and a lot of fun! - Absolutely loved it, always wanted to stay in an Airstream and it was so much fun. Beautifully fitted out with a great bathroom and shower with plenty of hot water. The bed was so comfortable. A wonderful experience! Nothing!
- Minogue (8/5): Very good -
- Haqiqipur (5/5): Passable - What I liked:
There were good activities for children, which was a nice touch.
The room was nicely decorated and the walls were clean.
The bathroom and toilet were clean and well-equipped.
There were some complimentary snacks and drinks, which I appreciated.
The spa was also good and relaxing. There was too much noise and I couldn’t sleep well.
The room was cold, and there was no extra blanket.
- Ana (10/5): it was amazing! and the staff is explicit! i left ny chanel earrings and they send it back to me by post. -
- Suzy (9/5): Superb - Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!!
The sheets are like silk
The place looks amazing , the location incredible Disappointed I sent Hotel No a email and mentioned it was my 9 year old birthday
It wasn't acknowledged in any way.
The mini bar while generous didn't even provide a drink for my child.only beer and wine.
Even a little Happy birthday note would have been really nice but nothing.
Wasn't impressed honestly but everything else was great
- Emma (9/5): Superb - Loved the unique idea of this accomodation. It was such a cute couples night away. The location was perfect with lots walking distance away. The cafe downstairs was perfect for coffee and a sandwich for breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay The beds weren't the comfiest and it was quite noisy.
- Jenny (7/5): Good -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location.
Unique accommodation experience in the middle of the city.
Parking being included was a massive bonus.
- Catherine (4/5): NA - Everything in the minibar was free - massive positive. Good location too. The photos were way better than the actual place, unfortunately. I thought it would be an awesome, different experience but it was quite tacky.
- Schembri (10/5): A must do for everyone. - An extremely unique experience. Clean, great aircon and very comfortable. Zero.
