• SL BAUTISTA (7/5): Needs redesigning and renovations - I like the lay out of the room from the small living and kitchen room, bathroom and bed was okay to sleep. The place am sure once upon a time had it's charm compared to how it is now. It has a pool and staff that maintains cleanliness in the area. Staff were attentive and helpful with carrying my luggages and things. It's like a studio type apartment. It has fridge and you can cook there but I strong smelling food is not allowed. No deposit fee. I didn't like the slanting pavement going to the entrance they should have opted for something convenient to walk at. The pool area could wet the hallway so I think it's a safety hazard although they do put a safety sign. Please get rid of your old worn out towels and thin blanket sheets. The bedroom area needs redesigning and those broken tiles needed replacement. Electric kettle didn't work after single use and it was dirty and had to clean it. Bathroom sink needs replacement and the cord of the shower head was leaking. I hope they acquire new stuff and some renovation as it's not acceptable gor the price the guests would pay for outdated amenities. The doors needs to have a bolt lock even if there's security at the main entrance. The aircon was but noisy and the water tanks behind the very end room I was assigned. The lights should be brighter especially in the living room area.

The room was pretty clean, but the pool had a bit of foam in it, which made us suspicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of noise coming from the street and it is impossible to close the window.

• Ross (1/5): Bad - Photos online are not accurate. If you want the room you booked then they charge more. Everything is broken. Sink and tap held together with tape. Cockroaches everywhere. Dubious stains on everything but will charge you for stains. TV doesn't work. AC is loud and not cold.
• Juha (4/5): Disappointing - Always liked staying at Hidden Pearl at previous travels. The AC could not be switched to lower/higher. Smelt of tobacco at times from the AC. Mosquitos entered the room from somewhere all the time. Did not matter how much you tried to remove them. Also was approved for extended checkout 3 hours. But upon the day of check out, they knocked on the door at 11 and said it's no longer available.

The room is a old, and a bit smelly, i was in part of the road so i can hear loud motorcycles very clearly, aircon is too noisy. The sheets are not that neatly washed, im okay with old facilities provided its clean enough.

• Stanley (2/5): I would not recommend this place! - The hotel was only a 10-15min walk to the mall and walking street. This place is a real budget hotel! It was cheap! I went through 3 rooms. The first and second room. The air conditioner didn’t work! The 3rd room it AC unit worked, but it was loud. With the AC unit being so loud, it was hard to sleep. Also in my room there were a lot of cockroaches.

There's 23 rooms BUT if ONLY 1 person is Smoking it get EVERYWHERE. I can tell if someone is smoking right away... Your not supposed to smoke in your room but they smell very smokey 😞 it could be a little cheaper in price 1 month Canadian $ 700.

Also, the mattress does not fit to the frame. Their pool is actually has more water than the room shower. The pail does not have the dipper to at least help the shower & water issue
