• Heike (9/5): Toller Aufenthalt in einer großartigen Stadt! - Die Unterkunft war perfekt! Tolle Lage unproblematisches Einchecken und alles was man braucht. Einziger klitzekleiner Nachteil: wir waren zu fünft und zum Essen gab es abgezähltes Besteck und nur vier Stühle. Da mussten wir improvisieren, aber wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

All 3 nights of my stay the tank hissed and rattled even though I wasn't using any hot water nor was the heat on. Terrible trying to sleep with the noise.

Very noisy, outside noise travelled inside. Loft bed but I found it difficult getting in & out of the bedroom area as space is very limited. I’m not tall but I couldn’t stand up in the bedroom area as ceiling is very low. I’ve good mobility but I still found it difficult to manoeuvre getting in & out of bed. Had I known this I’d have requested a different room.

• Deverell (5/5): Really disappointed - Apartment was in a great, historical setting. On the first day, the shower wouldn't drain and flooded the entire bathroom. We had to use almost all the towels provided to soak up the water. We had to unblock the drain ourselves. We had a mountain of soaking wet towels sat in the shower for the rest of our stay so couldn't shower. Shaver power point didn't work. TV was a very old model and we couldn't get any streaming apps, Netflix, Prime, YouTube to work. Noise level at night was unacceptable. Constant slamming doors, a washing machine going at 1130pm which made the whole bed shake. I contacted staff through booking.com at 830am the next morning and checked messages throughout the day. I got a reply through at around 5pm (though it says reply was sent at 1130). By this time there was no point having people come and try to rectify the issues as we were leaving the next morning.

• Katy (4/5): I wouldn't return. - The door didnt lock easily. It kept popping open. If we hadn't realised this someone could have easily gone into our room whilst we were out. We had to stand there every time we left the room and hold the door closed until it clicked to lock. The cleaners left the old guests food in the fridge and didn't clean it out. They also turned the fridge off so it absolutely stunk the apartment out during our whole stay. As I was in my first trimester of pregnancy, this was absolutely horrible to deal with. They did come and take the bin out and get rid of the food and explained there was no other rooms for us to move to. The fire alarm went of twice during our 3 night stay which was due to people showering with the door open. Thw wardrobe doors couldn't open correctly as the ceiling lights were in the way. Just not worth over £1000 for a 3 night stay.

• Amy (10/5): Incredible stay..book it now! - The communication was excellent, the place was spotless, well thought out space, superb location, safe building, super easy checkin/checkout process. Id organised cake/ballons/prosecco to be out on arrival, Linton didn't disappoint, the cake was incredible, even a lightbox with bday message! Excellent all round and highly recommend. Beds really comfy too. Surprised that with how close we were to Royal mile, how quiet the place was. Also want to mention "The 3 blind mice' restaurant next door, really good pizza, lovely atmosphere and you get discount when mentioning your staying in the apartments! We hope to come back! Nothing at all

Nice coffee for the machine and washing machine was great to have. Lovely fluffy towels. My only comment was the bed in the loft. You can't stand up around the bed due to the ceiling height but we managed after getting used to it. You are really only there to sleep.

• Catherine (7/5): Great value for money accommodation in perfect location. - The accommodation was in the perfect location for exploring the centre of Edinburgh (less than 1 minute and you're on the Royal Mile). The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We knew the bed was located in a loft - but just watch your head if you stand up too quickly! (Bed was very comfy though.)

The apartment was spacious, and the shower and bathroom were very comfortable. The bed upstairs — it was comfortable, but not very accessible, and the ceiling there was quite low.

• Selene (10/5): Great value for a fantastic location - Great location, central to everything. Someone even stopped by after hours to deliver a wine bottle opener, as the apartment didn't have one! They even included a starter set of coffee, tea, sugar and creamer, and refilled it during their midweek cleaning. Even better, they had dishwasher and laundry detergent for our use! It was fairly quiet, and we only heard extra-loud neighbors a few times.. Could have used more clothing hangers, but I'm certain that had we requested more, they would have hand-delivered them to us!

• Thomas (9/5): Cozy stay in the heart of Edinburgh - Fantastic location, super organized, extremely clean, comfortable, well-equipped, everything in great working condition, very easy check-in/out Fun: The spin cycle of the washing machine made the entire flat vibrate! 😂 Maybe a bit expensive, but you get a lot in return! Not super recommended for people with mobility issues (Upstairs bed was a bit hard to get in/out of due to low ceiling, getting a glass of water up on the "night stand" required a bit of acrobatics; shower entrance a bit narrow).
• Jan-Maarten (9/5): Onvergetelijk - Lokatie, lokatie, lokatie. En van alle gemakken voorzien. Simpele en effectieve toegangsregeling Het was natuurlijk heel duur maar dat is een vraag/aanbod-zaak. Edinburgh is sowieso hot en dan was er het Fringe Festival plus Oasis-concerten. De DAP-radio kregen we niet aan de praat. Sommige hoeken inclusief de ventilator waren behoorlijk stoffig. En de ruimte buiten het bed op de entresol waren zowel in hoogte als omtrek nogal krap. Daarentegen was de badkamer onberispelijk.

• Alison (9/5): Good apart from the bedroom layout - Location, and styling of the apartment, bathroom and kitchen superb It was clearly stated about the access and location of the bed, but it really was tight for space and honestly awkward, reaching the futon style bed on the mezzanine via some very steep/high steps and you basically have to crawl into the bed from the bottom of the bed. Maybe good fun in your 20’s or 30’s but just annoying and uncomfortable in your 50’s and 60’s especially getting up during the night really quite precarious and in our honest view not really that safe. Also we slept with the windows open as there was no aircon but it was still really hot, maybe a ceiling fan would be good. Other apartments with proper beds and normal access to them we would definitely book, but we would not book apartment 4 again.
• Sue (10/5): Comfortable and convenient stay - The communications were very helpful. I really liked the code system instead of keys as it meant we could come and go separately. The baggage store came in very handy. The sofa bed was extraordinarily comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were both of a high standard. The flat was quiet yet in an excellent location. I liked everything really. The only thing that I would change is that although the flat was very well managed we received too many emails offering us taxi bookings when we didn’t require this.
• Joanne (8/5): Had a very comfortable stay, with easy access to the fringe festival. - The doors are very heavy and hard to close, which means you have to slam them shut making it a bit noisy.
• Anna (8/5): Great! - The website says two bedroom but one ‘room’ is a mezzanine. This could be a bit clearer on the website , thanks
• Damian (9/5): Greta place, would definitely stay again - Great for a travellers, excellent location right near the Royal Mile. Very clear access instructions

• Chris (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay! The location couldn’t be better only a stone’s throw from the Royal Mile and about a 10 minute walk from Waverley Station. It’s right next door to the Edinburgh Larder too, which is a must for breakfast (though worth knowing you may need to queue). The apartment itself was much bigger than we expected and really well equipped with everything you could possibly need, from a washing machine and ironing board to plenty of cutlery if you want to self-cater. Despite being so central, it was lovely and quiet — a real bonus! All in all, an excellent place to stay and somewhere we’d definitely book again. Great base for exploring Edinburgh.
• Vicki (10/5): Superb location cool place - Great location; huge spacious accommodation and overall very comfortable. We did not meet any staff . None
• Kirsty (5/5): Extremely loud noise outside all night. - Great location, nice decor, felt secure Unbelievably hot , no air con, only option was to keep windows open but the street noise outside is extremely loud. The mezzanine bed was like a sauna and unbearable so had to sleep on the sofa. Bin Lorry’s, shouting, club noise, from 10pm til 6am non stop noise.
• Cheryl (10/5): - Don’t let the front entry fool you, this place is beautiful and perfectly located for discovering Edinburgh’s lively historic landmarks. There are several flights of stairs, but is to be expected in this repurposed church building. So worth the climb! There is a fabulous Scottish tour company within footsteps that we used for a day trip to see castles. Beds were comfortable and the 2-full bathrooms were appreciated. Super responsive host with questions regarding luggage storage before and after stay. Thanks for a lovely stay ;-)
• Annie (10/5): Excellent apartment for a family stay in Edinburg! - Amazing spot right in the middle of Olde Town. Close to everything. Clean. Would absolutely return!
• Suzanne (10/5): Perfect! - Everything about the apartment was perfect. A little kitchen, a sitting area, amazingly comfortable bed, the bathroom and the shower amazing. The location was spot on, tucked in a side street right in the heart of old town and everything was clean and set out great. The washing machine and dryer was a god sent and the access to the building was smooth and easy to follow. We even had the opportunity to store our luggage in the morning before access to the rooms. Can’t fault any of it & will definitely use again if we return to Edinburgh. Absolutely nothing to fault.
• stuart (10/5): - Great location on The Royal Mile. The area was really busy because of the festival, but our apartment (no 4) was out the back and really peaceful. We are in the 3 Blind Mice pizza restaurant below which was good.
• John (9/5): - Good location, apartment was nice, clean and check in process straight forward Being a central location, the traffic is expected to be busy however this was next level. Trying to park to get bags in and up several flights of stairs was a real challenge and this contunied for the 3 days we were there. The room was stuffy and hot when outside got to 23-24 degrees. The inability to block out the morning sun was problematic on the morning after we did the Tattoo being such a late night. Fold out bed was very poor
