- Zapien (2/5): - Staff was nice. The motel 6 was the same one as Vagabond Inn. On the recervation it does not make that clear. The rooms are very old and worn down. Only blanket had a hole in it. The other bed had a stain on it. Did not look very safe.

- Satoko (8/5): It totally worth staying over to get rest from driving long distance for a night. - It had a big fridge that was super helpful when I was driving down from Santa Rosa to Palm Spring carrying lot's of food. It had a big desk for work was helpful. It had a full kitchen with sink. Great functional place. The place is not super clean to corner to corner but it was good enough. For $70+/night, it totally worth it. I would stay again and recommend.

- Jennifer (8/5): Friendly front office staff and clean room made for a pleasant stay. - The beds were comfortable, was able to get good rest, bed frame was up high off the floor and the free breakfast was open from 2am-9am, there were some nice basic choices cereal with milk and or make your own Belgium waffle with syrup. To me this was good enough and made a positive contribution to my morning. Also the coffee maker ran out and I let the from office staff know and she took action right away to remedy the situation and I appreciated it very much! From what I can tell, Studio 6 is a long term stay in comparison to Motel 6. Due to wear and tear of long term stay, there was plenty of evidence of it, interior damage, significant scuffing and scratches were the norm. The worst damage was to the tub-shower, where the water temp mixer was not mixing properly, which means get ready to step back when the hot water turns scalding and the bath tub had been painted over, instead of replaced and the paint was actively chipping off the surface.

- Linda (7/5): Very Basic, Roadside Motel - The location off the I-5 freeway was convenient. The studio rooms have a refrigerator and small kitchenette. This is a VERY basic room. No shampoo or conditioner. Only bar soap. You have to ask the front desk to borrow a hairdryer.

- Jill (4/5): - There's that saying: "You get what you pay for." I also have a saying: "This is one of them 'don't leave your clothes on the floor' kind of places." Both are true for this property. Look, I dont expect the Ritz for $55 a night. It met our needs: a quick stop off I-5 on our way from WA to AZ, a bed, and a working shower. It was quiet. We were able to check in late with no issues. I appreciated the fridge and freezer so we could keep our road snacks and ice packs cold. True to their advertising, they left the light on...which made seeing all the bugs in our room that much easier. Mostly beetles and some gnats, but one gnarly winged dude that didnt appreciate the bottom of my shoe. Live ones welcomed our arrival, while the dead ones in the corners of the room were commended for their silence. The floors were dirty and the top of the fridge looked like it hadn't been wiped down since the first Obama presidency. The comforter had a cigarette burn in it and this was a non-smoking room. Since it was 1am, we squashed the live bugs, put our bags up from off the floor, and made the best of it. No one died. Or got eaten by bugs. We checked out early to get on the road as planned and dropping the key off was seamless. There's tons of food and gas options nearby. It is what it is - a cheap place to call it a night.

- Pavel Lob (10/5): - Everything was excellent. I chose this hotel because it had a kitchen, which was critical for me. It was quiet and peaceful, and overall an excellent hotel for the price. I liked everything about this place. Of course, it’s not really a hotel for a vacation, but rather a convenient stopover for those traveling long distances through this location. For that purpose, the hotel serves its role 100%.

- Dominic (5/5): Basic for a few hours stay - The cost was representative of a basic room right off the 5 Freeway. The room we ended up in was fine. The extended stay elements seem like it was just placed there recently. Our first room was dusty and had some small bugs in the room that had come in through a small opening in the doorway. Staff moved us to a more frequently used and more recently cleaned room. The new room was better. Breakfast was available from 3 am to 10 am, but ultimately was just a little cereal and waffle maker.

- Melissa (2/5): - Gross! Our room smelled like cigarettes and was 84 degrees at check in. The trash under the kitchenette had not been emptied before our arrival. There were moldy Taco Bell cups in the bathroom. The bathroom had dirty handprints on the walls. There were dead bugs on the floor. The breakfast area had ants crawling on the counters. Just go somewhere else. I chose this location because the reviews said how clean it was. They must have stayed somewhere else and got confused. I told the front desk about our room and they apologized.

Took pictures and google image says there were oriental cockroaches. I left and found a best western a couple hours away.

It smelled like a litter box, the bedspreads were stained, some of the towels looked like they had not been washed, the floor felt like it had a film of dirt on it, the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly, and there were little piles of hair on the bathroom floor. We arrived late after a long day of travel so we made the best of it but safe to say that we will not be back.

Waffles came out very good Room125 - the railing that the mattress sat on and the head board needed a big dusting job. Looked they had not been dusted in quite a while. Loved the fact that the stove, refrigerator and microwave were clean but there were no plates or silverware. When I went to the office. I was given styrofoam plates and plastic fork and knife. Cannot put styrofoam in microwave. The microwave was also missing the microwave plate so that was useless. I think if you are going to offer a kitchen, you should have at least the essentials.

The asphalt is pretty beat up by the CV heat, but that's the only real negative. It's a split property with Vagabond Inn. I stayed at S6 IN THE BACK AWAY FROM I-5 and it was just fine. I'd gladly stay here again, and probably would.

The linens were of poor quality. The family restaurant close by has the best homemade BBQ dishes I’ve ever had. Worth the stay at the motel just to have the BBQ!

The bed was very uncomfortable, yellow stain in the tub, lots of marks/scuffs in the bathroom. Headboard on the bed had a chunk missing. The tub faucet temps were reversed and someone could easily burn themselves by how hot the water gets!

Easy check-in right next to a McDonald’s so it makes it easy for a quick meal before you head to bed or get up in the morning! They do have a continental breakfast from 2 AM to 9 AM! You can’t go wrong!
