- Patricia (6/5): - I booked a suite and the found out it was in a cellar. One window in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. Neither had screens in them. They did have a stove and fridge in the kitchen but no glasses, dishes and the only utensils were three packages of plastic to-go packets. We did receive clean towels every day

- Lisa (8/5): - This a perfect property for those who do not want to be overcrowded or surrounded by noisy people. It's a great location and within walking distance of the beach, shopping, and dining. We will definitely return in the future.
- Zaahid (4/5): Rubbish place and totally disappointing - A terrible stay. The properties supposed to be self catering. Therefore one would expect a certain level of cleanliness as well and kitchenware. Apart from a few pathetic and very dirty pans there was nothing. No cutlery, no crockery, no dishwasher, the coffee maker smelt of burnt plastic and despite scrubbing it clean (probably the cleanest it’s ever been) the coffee still smelt of burnt plastic. And what an ecological disaster this place is. You would expect crockery, glasses, mugs, cutlery, basic cooking implements. Instead you get plastic plates, plastic cups and the only thing to stir with is a plastic coffee stirrer. And to pay for this at the rate they charged??? The whole check in process was also ridiculous. You go to the Desoto hotel and check in there, before being told to take your things and go back to the car and drive another mile down the road! With the number of disclaimers and agreements I had to sign, I thought I was being screened for an entry into a country rather than a hotel! If I were going to Tybee island again, I would avoid this hotel completely - the whole ethos is to charge as much as possible and provide the least value.
- joe (6/5): - If you just need a place to crash while on Tybee then this is fine. The location is good. If you want to relax and get a good night’s sleep it’s not an option. There is almost zero light and sound dampening. The first night neighbors were up until after midnight having a great time on their balcony. The second night the people above us were up until after 2:30am stomping and running. There are lights EVERYWHERE and the darkening curtains can’t keep up. For an “updated property”, the furniture was worn and broken. I refused to touch the stained sofa. It should be burned or professionally cleaned. Our ice bucket lid, under the fridge, and the shower had mold. No towels or suits dried while hanging, so there is a moisture issue somewhere. It wasn’t a terrible stay. I just wanted a day on the beach and some time to read. I got that. But, we won’t stay here again.
- ashley (4/5): - I liked that it had easy access to the beach and the pool was clean. I did not like how outdated the property was and how terrible the wifi connection and cable connection was. No streaming availability & there were only a few channels to choose from not to mention it wasn’t even clear! The unit itself could use more thorough cleaning. I believe the price was because of the convenient walk to the beach & not the Unit itself.

- Sherri (8/5): Amenities - We didn't bring pots & pans so we called the desk and they brought us a new set. We needed sheets for the pull out sofa front desk sent them right over. Amenities should be listed so guests are clear on what items are provided in the kitchen.

The kitchen was amazing but did not have an pots/pans or dishes. Loved having the deck space to sit on. This was our second time and we will definitely be back.

- Amanda (8/5): Cute and quaint - The apartment was cute. It had bare minimum basic needs which is completely normal just keep that in mind when going. The pool was clean, the house was spottless. It was an over all great stay for the night. The only thing i didnt prefer was checking in and out at a different hotel to pick up and drop off the keys. Mind you this WAS told ahead of time in booking its just a mild inconvenience compaired to a door code

- Brandy (6/5): Typical low end trip - Location is great. Easy walking to anywhere. The room was nasty. Looked as though it had not been cleaned in weeks. You can hear others in their room, and if it is a bottom floor, just hope there are no kids above you. It reminded me of the Bates Motel. The property was nice and the pool was clean.

There were elements that probably need updating, like the outdoor curtains or some of the door knobs, but overall we were impressed with how spacious the rental was. The staff was kind and helpful, and it’s easy to navigate to the property. Easy beach access to 12th and 13th street entrances for Tybee Beach, and only blocks down from quick eats on Tybrisa Street.

- Latoya (2/5): INCREASE YOUR SECURITY!!! - I usually don't write too many reviews but wanted to share my experience to warn others. We booked a one night stay from 2/17-2/18. Due to some unforeseen circumstances we decided to take the 4.5hr drive knowing we'd arrive extremely late. I read the details and was aware we needed to check in at another hotel. However, I didn't realize it was a mile away. When you're tired, a mile seems far. There's not very much parking, so pack light. Our unit was at the very back. The property can definitely use some better lighting. We attempted to open the door with our key and the chain lock was on. My husband attempted to take the lock off and heard someone moving around. He yelled is someone in here and the person said huh. There was a man sitting on the couch asleep. We hurried back to our car and called the attendant. He asked us to put the person on the phone. My husband yelled at him to come do his job. It's 2am and you want us to figure out who's in our room?? He came down, unlocked the door, the chain was off. He went in and said no one's here. Obviously, whoever it was had left. We were definitely at the right unit because our key worked. He asked us who would break into a hotel, I'm like, I guess anybody who needs shelter. This person had to have come in through a window. We didn't feel safe enough to stay and requested a refund. There were no other rooms available in this small town so we turned right back around and went home. This was a DISASTER!!
- Anna (2/5): - They charged my card twice and were aware of it at the time I checked in. Their response was “oh well only one of them will post to your account.” When I informed them that both charges were posted to my bank account they advised me they credited the 2nd charge back to my account and when I asked for written documentation of the refund they refused to provide it. I have still yet to receive the refund. We’ve stayed at their properties multiple times but after this we will never book with them again.

- Alecia (8/5): New Years fun - Had to go to office (several blocks away) for a blanket for pull out couch. Friendly staff. Great location, quick walk to beach and many restaurants and bars.
- Sierra (10/5): - Check-in, for me, was confusing. I didn’t realize there was someone at the other hotel to speak to. That is the only issue I had and I blame myself for that. Comfortable bed, clean area, hot water, and was a great experience
- Denise (4/5): Not a welcoming space - We arrived after a long drive and we’re told that we had to check in at another property, which was a rather lengthy process. When we finally drove to our destination, we found a dank, dark room that could be compared to a basement. The bedroom T.V was broken. We changed our room to another property after realizing that nobody was at The Georgianne to address our concerns. Small pool, several properties back from the beach access.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Love this hotel - Not a single bad thing to say about this hotel. Absolutely love it! The pool is maintained every single day and housekeeping is super attentive. Love the check in/out process and always have great interactions there. This was our second trip to Tybee and while we would stay at this hotel again, we will likely not be back to Tybee again. It’s really not family friendly after dark or on rainy days. There’s very little to do entertainment wise if your kids are under 21. Also, we had so many terrible interactions at so many restaurants with truly inattentive staff. This is not a reflection on this hotel and I would 10/10 recommend this location, just not as impressed with Tybee. Our first trip was during the off season so we assumed the “deadness” was due to that—evidently not tho as this was prime summer time.

- BETTY L (10/5): - Parking it is very hard to find parking around the island having parking and being close to the best things to do on island was great. Clean was everything it was advertised to be.
- Ryan (6/5): - Not beach front, quick walk. Outside of property is nice, inside is disappointing. Bathroom has extremely small shower with broken fixtures and mold on ceiling. Vanity is just a sink, no room for anything else. We would not stay here again for the price we paid! Staff was very courteous and efficient.

There was a lot of dust, debris on the floors and old coffee in the coffee pot left behind by a not very thorough cleaning. The location was perfect, just a 2 block walk to the beach. I would stay here again but this company should update the inside to match the exterior.

- Lisha (4/5): Don't stay here! - The beds, couches, and showers were clean. The fridge smelled like dead fish and was absolutely disgusting. I cleaned a shelf in the fridge to keep bottled water cold there is no way I would put anything else in the nasty fridge. The bathroom floors were filthy with hair and crud. Luckily we were really only there to sleep and shower. I would NEVER stay there again even if it was FREE!!!!!!
- DAVID (6/5): There’s better on Tybee. - Room needs repairs. Tile missing in bathroom. Other minor defects that make it low quality. Dirty walls, TV not working. Really needs a lot of work to bring it up to a nice place to stay. The bed was comfortable. Could have been cleaner for sure. Did not get the specific room I ordered on Hotels.com. Front desk rep blamed it on 3rd party (hotels.com). Wouldn’t come back unless I was desperate or the rate was dirt cheap.

- Tara (10/5): Gorgeous place - The place is absolutely adorable. Seconds from the beach and a five minute walk to the pier. We were there for my daughter’s birthday. She said it was the best birthday ever!
- Selena (6/5): - Definitely liked the location. Cleaning didn’t take dirty sheets off fold out bed, so I had to change them. Found a gross shirt in the fold out bed.

- Clifton (8/5): - Nicely appointed and spacious with a couch and two TVs. Short walk to a nice beach and walking distance to bars and restaurants. Need to be aware that the office is at the De Soto not at the Georgianne Inn.
- Shandee (2/5): - I want to start by saying that I had previously stayed here with no issues which is why I decided to book an extended family stay here. Unfortunately our trip had to be cut short due to bed bugs being found in 2 of the rooms. The property did refund us the 2 nights we weren't able to use but the costs we incurred in trying to clean all of our items was quite excessive. I am not certain the property took our issue seriously but a few of us are still covered in bites from the bed bugs.

- Pamela (8/5): A nice weekend! - We enjoyed our stay. The area was crazy busy and so loud. Coming back to the Inn was so refreshing. It was quiet and calm, no loud noises or people. It isn't a fancy or new place but it met our need. The bed was very comfortable, air-conditioning was great and we stayed in room 7 which over looked the pool. It was a perfectly maintained small pool with nice seating inside the pool area and outside the pool fence as well. A gate just off the pool area gives acess to a 3 minute walk to the ocean.

- Shannon (2/5): Avoid this place!! - Upon arrival, found out had to go to different location to check in (never mentioned!). After that, we went in-place was decent upon quick glance, drop off luggage and go. Left to go to dinner, beach, etc. Arrived back around 9PM, started to get kids ready for bed. Pulled out sofa bed-sheet was dirty! So wasn't happy with that-went to get towels and laid towels down over sofas. Went in to our bedroom to turn on TV-looked at dresser saw black stuff in the back. My husband came in-he thought it was mouse feces! Went to shower sand off kids-shower curtain had mold at the bottom of it (didn't shower after that!). Also found a cockroach in bedroom. Started inspecting further-found that the trash can in kitchen had never been emptied from previous guest. Food crumbs on floor, had crumbs on bedroom nightstand, etc. We called the office-they sent someone over. He was super nice, apologized. He agreed that the black stuff was some type of animal feces. He killed the cockroach (we thought it was dead but wasn't!). On checkout, the lady at desk was on personal phone. MY husband waited like 1-2 minutes before being acknowledged. She told her phone person to hold on-she turned around and said you checking out, got your keys, and went back to her phone conversation. FOr the price-wouldn't stay her again! Thought after what we found what we found, we would have heard from management-nothing!

- Sophia O. (2/5): Georgianne Inn Suites - It was a horrible experience... I was supposed to stay for 2 nights 3 days and left the next morning after arriving. That place hasn't been cleaned in YEARS! it was disgusting I took so many pics and videos and demanded a refund. There was dust and rust EVERYWHERE! I booked my stay a whole month before that shouldn't have happened never again will I come back. Just horrible! And one of the male staff was extremely rude.
- Mindy (4/5): - The room wasn't clean; still trash in the room from previous occupant. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything. And probably the most disappointing was that we were on the beach, but it was $30 a day/per person for chair rentals. There were no chairs, towels or blankets that we could have used at the beach.

- Tammy (2/5): - The outside of property is nice when you pull in and looks like the booking ad. However, the inside was damp, very dirty and very outdated. Shoes had to be worn on floors… yuck!! The Biggest cockroach that I have ever seen in bathroom was the end for me. We left after one day, to be fair they did refund our money.

- David (4/5): - The staff was great. Room was small for three. Coffee maker was too small and no filters. Walls are thin and pull out sofa bed fills entire front room. Toilet paper holder rusted. Check-in was a mile from property with no advance information. Room smells.
- Elaine (4/5): - Info said the facility was renovated and the exterior was attractive. However, the interior of our ground level suite was dark, very worn and shabby furniture, dirty carpet and bathroom floor, among other things. Heating/cooling unit did not work and needed repair. Overall a place I would never stay at again and would never recommend. It fell extremely short of expectations especially given the price of the room. The only positive feature is that it is close to the beach.

- Nathalie (8/5): - A pleasant property. In addition, I was extremely pleased with the responsiveness of the property management. When I discovered I had forgotten an item in the room, I informed the management, and the item was promptly mailed to me. A billing issue was also addressed to my complete satisfaction with the same promptitude.
- Kristi (8/5): One night stay - It was fine for a one night stay. I wouldn't use anything in the kitchen. Guests are suppose to wash their own dishes and nothing seemed to be provided including dish soap, so I highly doubt anything was actually clean. Everything else was fine, not immaculate but not gross. Check in/ check out staff were extremely friendly
- Cathy (8/5): - We booked rooms for 5 people, but needed a sheet and blanket for the 5th person for pull out, and didn't want to go a mile down the road to Desoto Inn to pick up sheet and blanket at 11:30 at night. They were kind enough to answer the phone when we called but only had one person on staff who could not leave the desk. They did bring a sheet and blanket the 2nd day of our stay. Staff was very friendly.
- Rajesh (8/5): Nice comfortable and convenient condo - The hot water wasn't quite hot. There were no blankets for the sofa bed. Other than these 2 things, the place was cozy and comfortable for us. For December, offseason it was a little pricey.

Ocean just a few houses away. Nice covered porch.outdoor shower and foot rinse. Parking convenient and safe. Not much in the way of housekeeping. Have to hunt them down for towels and supplies.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice beach vibe but smelly - Great location a walking distance from all the spots on Tybee. Older “cottage” style rooms. Pretty tired but a nice beach vibe. Pool small but nice. Biggest complaint was the living room of our suite had a strong musty/urine smell. I mentioned it to desk and they sort of shrugged it off as normal. A little disturbing.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Happy with choice - Nice small apartment w/ 1 room queen bed, pull out couch in living room, flat screens in both with free wifi. 2 adults 2 small kids and we had separate space. Clean linen, iron n board provided, hall closet for storage, safe in room closet. Full kitchen for those who want to cook. Grocery store up the street and that was a plus for me to feed my family all day for our stay. They provide dish soap and dishes. Beach is 3 min walk and a pool out back. Comfy stay.
- Jodi B. (8/5): Overall good stay - The room was nice and clean. It was pretty convenient to most everything specially after renting bikes. Staff was exceptionally accommodating. Only complaint was the suite full of small children above us. But that is understandable since we were at the beach, where relaxing is meant to be in a chair in the sand.

Please get rid of the carpet in the rooms!!!!!!!!!!! So absolutely disgusting. The area where the ice machines and laundry were was filthy. Had to ask for each and every thing, towel service some days and some days not. What is the policy? They charged my credit card upon arrival. Not a usual practice in the hotel business. Would love to stay there again if they would clean up the place. This being in the down time and not the busy season. They make you sign a "contract" to be a good guest but they do not provide good service. Check out - the girls were too busy and hardly spoke. Did not ask me for feedback. This is the South - expected a little Southern courtesy and mask properly worn during the Covid pandemic. The place is charming if it was cleaner and the staff friendlier. The maintenance man was very helpful and kind. First time I have had to call a maintenance man to a hotel room in all my years of traveling. Please fix it up and get friendlier, more professional staff.
- tanya (10/5): I will definitely be back - Beds were so comfortable. The grounds were so nice and peaceful. Back gate took you right to the beach. We will definitely stay here again! Need to pick the key up at Desota hotel lobby, 1 mile away from the Goerianne inn and Suites!

Very friendly guests and check in/out was quick as always. Perfect for the family and always a parking space available. Like a hotel but far less busy!

The room was not cleaned very well- the shower had leftover/used soap in it. The room said queen size bed- it was a full size. No beach towels for use, no hairdryer...Desoto hotel had beach chairs, but none available at Georgianne Inn.

- Lydia (4/5): - The suite is dated but clean. You check in at one building and then drive a mile to the actual room. At check in the front desk workers were talking amongst themselves about how they hate one night guests and prefer 2+ night patrons. I only was staying one night so that was awkward.
- William (2/5): So bad, we couldn't stay the night. - Rooms look as if they haven't been updated since the 50's. Small room that is labled as a suite, outdoor furniture was dirty. Ad said that room was court yard view - the only veiw was the parking lot next door. We were so disappointed that we turned keys back in and left, it was worth losing our one night fee not to have to actually sleep there. I highly recommend avoiding this property.
- Ashley (10/5): Loved it - We absolutely love it here the condo was so clean and so much room to move around and its right off the beach. So it made it easy to see the sun set and sun rise. The only issues we had was the living room tv narratored the movies or spoke in Spanish we couldnt fix it thats it
