- wassila (9/5): Depending on which room you get, you might need to carry your suitcases up stairs but that is actually a good training f - We didn’t see any staff except the cleaning staff and they are doing a top notch job. The apartment was very clean. Nothing.

- Arena (7/5): - Very good location to explore the city from. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Appreciate the fan provided. The lift was not working and we did not have any warning before arrival. Given that we had been away for a while we had two large heavy +50 pound suitcases that had to be taken up many many flights of stairs to the apartments near the top floor. Also was not entirely clear where the luggage storage was without knowing which floor we had reached so we ended up doing even more work bringing it up and down. Would have been nice to have some notice.

- Annette (8/5): Perfect for a longer stay. - The apartment was in a superb location. Loved the entry code system and meant no carrying keys on our stay. The apartment has a washing machine which was essential when staying more than a few days. Great set up kitchen and bathroom with quality inclusions and products. Bedding was fabulous and the heating worked well. A dryer as it was hard to get clothes dry quickly if needed.

- Sally (8/5): Ideal Location in the Centre of Old Town - Email correspondence with Judith was friendly and helpful, so that was a great start. The location is perfect, close to Waverley Train Station, our rental car collection point, and a one minute walk tothe Royal Mile. It is in an amazing location right in the centre of it all, the rooms were finished to an extremely high standard. The code check in is seamless and we made use of the complimentary bag storage which means you can drop your bags off before check in! Everything was excellent

- Emma (8/5): Lovely apartment in a great location. - Communication on how to gain access to the room was fantastic, and there is a very simple check in process. The apartment itself was clean and had all the amenities you could need. The oven and dishwasher were very easy to use, and the instruction manuals are provided if you need them. The bed was very comfortable. Location is very central and close to Edinburgh Waverley station. The hot water ran out when filling the bath, so i had to boil the kettle multiple times to get it to the right temperature. This apartment has incredibly high ceilings, so it takes a while to heat up. We stayed in the middle of January and when we first arrived, the apartment was cold so we turned the heating up - there is some kind of timer on this, though so the heating kept going down to the lowest setting. I think in winter it would be best to increase the temperature so the warmth level can be maintained. I think it would be a good idea to provide some extra blankets for the sofa too.

- Debra (4/5): It was ok. I have stayed here before. I am not sure I would come back. - The place is just beautiful, it is a mix of old world charm with very modern finishes and fixtures. Very characterful. it was very clean. Staff was available to help with luggage. One person came in to have a look at flushing toilet issues. At the time she was able to get it to work. It is very close to the Royal mile(1/2 a block away) so quite a lovely location to access all things nearby. The toilets were VERY difficult to flush. They did not always work. In spite of beautiful design, function was off. I feel as though men designed the place without any thought to a woman’s needs. Shower head was in the ceiling. Many feet above my head. If I was 6’9” I do not think it would have been a problem. I am 5’7” (not short) and by the time the water reached the top of my head the shower pressure was very ineffective. The top kitchen shelves are too high to reach things without having to get on a chair. As I said toilets do not flush consistently. The little glass shelf above the sink in one of the bathrooms prevents you from being able to put your face above the sink. The design of the apartment has beautiful form but function is way off. In the small bathroom the glass shower partition could be bigger.(or a folding door might be best) Water gets all over everything in there because the glass is too narrow.

Heel klein puntje van kritiek was dat een van de douches een (te) korte douchewand had, waardoor de hele vloer van de badkamer na het douchen steeds nat werd.

The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Service quality was excellent throughout our stay, and the reception staff were extremely kind, helpful, and professional. We truly felt comfortable as a family and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Edinburgh.
