Emmett (5/5): Not bad but very loud. - Easy parking, fun modern room and hotel. Good location. Not the most comfortable place, the walls and ceiling were very thin and you could hear everything everywhere. The person above us was super loud all night. And you could hear people walking in the hallway and closing doors non stop.

Noelle (8/5): Great location for what we needed next to restaurants and easy highway access. - Great location for us being next to the Katy Trail and downtown old town St Charles. Was a steep price for the tiny room and there was a bit of noise thru floors walls but we knew this going in.
Margaret (7/5): - Beds were comfortable, it was clean. Staff responded quickly to a mishap at breakfast. Breakfast was very basic. More fresh fruit and spreads for bread would have been good. Eggs were a bit rubbery. No electric jug in the room for making a cup of tea or coffee.

This was a noisy room which unfortunately, led to only an OK stay. The room was very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We would return, but would only stay in a room facing the front the hotel.

Alisa (10/5): - The Building was brightly painted and charming in decor. There was a pool table and welcoming seating to encourage gathering in the lobby. It was walking distance from dining and right off of the interstate. It was lovely and we will definitely be staying again.

Z4758LYcharlesc (4/5): Not up to a " true " Hilton standard. Would go elsewhere. - Was there Thursday through Monday, room rates varied each night ( highest on Friday) Room was small but adequate EXCEPT there was NO drawer space to use, no lamps on bedside table. There was no closet to hang items, only a metal curved rod in the corner. There was a small refrigerator under a small table. Lighting was 2 very bright spotlights over the bed that made it hard to lay in bed and read especially if your partner was trying to go to sleep. Only ice machine was on first floor, not a big issue but only FYI. House keeping was to be every 2 days but they skipped us and we had to ask for this on day 4. This was NOT what I expected from a Hilton property. In future I would avoid Tru by Hilton and use a nearby hotel.

Overall a great stay..the breakfast ladies were so nice a courteous. They made sure everything was filled up to the last minute. The guy at the check-in desk told them to turn the lights off right at 9:30 at breakfast..leaving me standing in the dark trying to make a plate for my daughter.

Breakfast choices were not good so I wouldn't depend on this for a hardy breakfast. We had a take out bag that was too large for the garbage can. Left it outside the room and it sat there > 24 hours. I then moved it next to a garbage can by the elevator and it sat there another 24 hours. Sheets and bedding very very thin and old.
DontGet2GoEnough (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Super clean hotel located with easy access to downtown St Charles and quick access to Hwy 70 for Riverport events. Room was small but more than adequate. Beds were firm and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices, including hot options like eggs, sausage, and had a machine to make fresh pancakes. Gretchen at the front desk was friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

Anthony (4/5): I did like how colorful the hotel was. - I didn't have breakfast. I didn't like that there was only 1 chair in the room when there's 2 people. No coffee in the room and when we went down for coffee it was water down. The towels were stain so I asked for new towels those were stain too.

If you have asthma request your room not be sprayed…I have never entered somewhere so fragranced as our room. It was rough…luckily I had my inhaler handy! I usually always add that note but I must not have this time. There was a shooting in the lobby during our stay and so that made parking, leaving, etc. pretty inconvenient…not to mention how unsafe we all felt afterwards….but the hotel couldn’t have helped what happened with that.
dennise1964 (6/5): Clean, Modern Tru, But Bed Needs Attention - My stay at the Tru by Hilton in St. Charles was, in most respects, adequate. The hotel's public spaces were clean and organized, aligning with the brand's contemporary aesthetic. The room, too, was clean and provided the usual necessities. The climate control worked well, a point I always appreciate. However, the bed presented a significant problem. It had a deep sag in the middle, which led to back discomfort the following day. While I understand the Tru brand aims for a modern, social atmosphere—the open lobby and 24/7 market being examples—the fundamental comfort of the bed should not be overlooked. The experience was acceptable, but the bed's condition detracted from what could have been a more restful stay. I trust the management will examine and address this issue for future guests.
