Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The lady who ran the guest house was very friendly, she supplied us with fresh fruit raki and Greek pastries. We would not hesitate to return again.
- Rachel (10/5): Convenient location - We booked the Gregory studio which is an annex next to the Angelika apartments. The transfer took approx an hour from Heraklion airport. It is a beautiful coastal route which is very scenic. Upon arriving at the accommodation we were warmly greeted by the owner and his wife with a lovely selection of fresh fruits, water and beer which was a lovely gesture and made us feel very welcome.
The property is located in a quiet side street just from the harbour it is less than a 2 minute walk to the little harbour beach - so easy to reach.
The Gregory studios are a budget accommodation - it is a base in a wonderful location and you get what you pay for if you want a 4 star hotel this will not suit you.
Our room had a 3 single beds. Kitchen table and 3 chairs. The traditional kitchen had a kettle, fridge, two rings, fairly well equipped with enough crockery & cutlery although we did not cook - we made sandwiches / packed lunches for the beach. No need to cook as a wonderful selection of Greek tavernas.
The Bathroom was small. Small signs of damp but clean otherwise. No hook for showerhead so you have to hold it-fairly usual for basic SC studio. We managed fine.
Outside our door we had an outdoor table and chairs on a shared patio. We enjoyed having breakfast here in the open air. It was a shaded, quiet area because there was only us using it.
