Guest Reviews
- Andrew (2/5): - This place was terrible. When we arrived we noticed it was quite warm. We turned on the air conditioning but 12hrs later the temperature was unchanged. The curtains were vertical blinds, but there were many blinds missing and so there was no privacy in the evening in the living room, and the bedroom got very bright at sunrise. Normally I would just roll over and go back to sleep but the mattress on the bed was hollowed out in the middle, which resulted in my wife and I being clustered in the middle. Finally, there was so much mold on the shower curtain that I was compelled to buy a 2L bottle of bleach in which to soak it. After 2.5hrs I was able to render it usable. However, it won’t stay that way long because the shower curtain rail is too low and the curtain rests on the floor of the tub, which is how it got moldy in the first place. My wife normally books our hotels but she let me do the booking for this trip. Needless to say, I won’t be booking any in the near future. I was embarrassed and appalled. This place was disgraceful. So yes, I will definitely be posting a review, complete with pictures, on the website, so that nobody else has to stay there.
Sincerely,
Andy
- Verified traveler (2/5): This is an Airbnb not a hotel - I went on hotels.com to rent a HOTEL room. This is an Airbnb not a hotel. It is a condo unit in a building, which means that they can’t control cigarette smoke and nicotine residue. I have asthma. I had to go to the ER because this room caused an asthma attack. This needs to be removed from the website. I don’t know why it’s not listed on Airbnb.
- Adam (8/5): - The location of this suite is really very convenient, a close walking distance to the Toronto downtown, lake, and numerous points of interest. The suite is very quiet and clean, although maybe a bit too impersonal and a lack of any contact with the owner or a person in charge only adds to that feeling.
Otherwise, an excellent deal, especially when compared with any hotel nearby. Highly recommended!
- J (2/5): Pictures do not tell the whole story
- Bad experience right from the start, we were scheduled to stay 5 nights but left after one. Top price charged but not a top price unit. The mirrored closet door glass was broken, sign said do not use, the laminate flooring is in bad shape and needs to be replace. Touched the dishwasher door, had to then wash my hands from the sticky, opened a window, the dirt on the screen was disgusting, no where to put my clothes, OK if only a night or two, but not five. I then looked at furnishings, not much their. Very small table with plastic chairs, couch looked OK but very cheap when you sat on in, no face cloths, not much in the way of dishes, can you believe they could only afford to have 1 wine glass. The amount they wanted was too much for the shape it was in. They need to fix it up before they rent it again or charge a lot less money and make people aware of the deficiencies. They did offer to come and clean it and provide more towels but we did not want to stay, it did not leave us with a good feeling. If they fix the glass, floor, add some better furniture and dishes etc, it would be much better.
- Mowfak (8/5): Very nice a special place - I find the place is very clean nearby the centre fall feeling all the need for a thriller
