• Julianna (10/5): I felt like I was staying with family. - There was a language barrier but the hostess was so patient and understanding with us. The B&B is decorated so cute and the bathrooms especially were incredible. As we went to leave after our breakfast the next day (which was excellent), she insisted we take her umbrellas as it was raining that morning. We now currently have the umbrellas here with us in the states as a reminder to keep up on our Japanese studies for next time we see her. Thank you for everything ma'am! We can't wait to see you again.♥

• Cindy (5/5): - I liked our view of Mt Fuji. I paid for a room with 5 twin beds. I got a room with Three. It says bed and breakfast. But, no where in booking my accommodations did it give me an opportunity to order breakfast. We get there and were told, no breakfast for you. 😒 Also, this place is definitely off the beaten path. Not hugely convenient if you come in on public transit. It's a thirty minute walk from the nearest long travel bus station.

• Paul (10/5): Incredible little spot - I never would have believed that the best meal of my Japan trip would be French food cooked in the shadow of Mt. Fuji, but life is funny sometimes. This place is FANTASTIC! From passing Google translate back and forth with the sweet proprietor, to soaking in the private onsen after a long day of walking, to watching Mt. Fuji out my hotel window, I loved every second of staying here. The location is fantastic as well - it's about a 10-minute walk from the touristy areas of lake Yamanaka, but that small distance makes all the difference in terms of peace and quiet at the end of the day. Can't recommend this place enough. And again: get the dinner package!!

Beautiful and hospitable people who took such good care of us. We had an amazing breakfast in the morning. Home cooked and very cosy. The onsen / spa is fantastic.

• HIROSHI (10/5): コース料理の美味しい隠れ家的ペンションです - 地元素材を使った前菜、スープ、魚料理、肉料理、デザートのコース料理で、満腹になりました。 建物はそれなりに時間の経過を感じますが、お風呂も広く、コスパは非常に良いと思います。 コロナ対策で食堂のテーブルを一つおきに配膳するなど配慮されてました。おかみさんが声を潜めて料理の説明をされているのが少々痛々しかったですが、明るくもてなしていただきました。

Elle était très disponible à nous renseigner, nous guider et elle nous a également conduit en voiture jusqu’au village. Les déjeuners étaient excellents et le repas gastronomique proposé le soir a même dépassé nos attentes, c’était délicieux, digne d’un grand restaurant. Très belle vue du Mont-Fuji de notre chambre. Le onsen était privé et très propre. Nous recommandons fortement cette pension.

• TOSHIKO (10/5): 木々の中のステキなペンション - 富士山の眺望最高！富士山の見える会場で、オシャレで美味しいフランス料理を頂きました。新鮮な野菜につけるディップが初体験の美味、パンも美味しかった～朝食のサンドイッチもステキでした。そしてそして、バス停などへの送迎の相談にしっかりのって頂き、快く引き受けて下さった魅力的な奥さんとの、笑いっぱなしの夜が嬉しい思い出になりました。気になる小物もたくさん飾り付けられ、きれいに保たれてる室内、また泊まりたくなるペンションでした。WIFIも問題なし。

• RISA (10/5): お風呂が最高！窓からは富士山が...☆ - 貸切のお風呂が広くて綺麗でとても気持ちよく、疲れた身体が癒されました。 空いていればいつでも入れたので夜も朝も入り、ポカポカで体力全回復！！ おかみさんもすごくお話上手で明るい方だったので、ホテルのように堅苦しくない所がアットホームな雰囲気で良かったです。 飲食物は持ち込み厳禁と書いてありました。ところが事前に電話をして聞いてみるとどうぞどうぞ買ってきて好きな所で飲み食いして下さいとの返答！ なんとコンビニで買ってきたものをレストランの素敵なテーブルで頂きました(笑) できる限りのわがままをたくさん聞いてくださったので驚きました。 優しいお母さんです！ 今度来る機会があれば是非お料理付きを予約してみたいと思います。 今回は冬だったので、夏にもまた行ってみよう(*^^*)
• Siti (10/5): - Can see the mountain from my room. The owner let us use the onsen privately. Towels were replaced everyday. The owner were super friendly. But this place is 1km walk to the nearest bus stop. But the view of the walk were spectacular as long as you don't mind the lomg journey.

She served us five course meal and the volume was really impressive! The room was fairly small and rather dated but was comfortable.

• Verified traveler (10/5): the food was amazing - The location was just a short stroll to starting point of Yamanakako half marathon event. The breakfast and dinner are included. have to say the quality of food exceeded my expectation by far. the vegie was so fresh and the four couses dinner was the best dinner I had during this trip. you wont even get this quality of food from some 5 star hotel. The owner is a lovely lady and she really made me feel like home. we even played “hanabie” , which is firework in japanese , with her grandson after dinner. she drove us to local bus station after we checked out . will definitely come back next time if i come to Yamanashi
