Secure building with a lift which is handy with heavy suitcases. We had an ocean view from the balcony in Suite 2. Very walkable city and this is a great location less then 15 minute walk from the train station and ferry port that will take you anywhere you want to go. The host, Gigi, is very responsive and so nice. He was able to accommodate holding our luggage when we arrived early morning before check-in.

On top of that, it took forever for the water to heat up, and once it did, if you tried to adjust it, it would turn cold again. On the first day, they left us with barely any liquid hand soap (which ran out after two uses), and they didn’t replace it the next day

The check in and check out process was super simple as well. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the housekeeper is a lovely lady as well. Next time we are in Salerno, we will be back!

• Tanya (8/5): - The check-in process was not smooth. I received no instructions from the hotel or from this booking site. I did message the property, in advance via this booking site to let them know our arrival time. When we got there, we had a lot of trouble finding where the actual B&B was because it’s on the 4th floor of a building that houses many businesses, but there is no directory listing in the entrance. I had to call the hotel contact directly and was walked through how to check myself in via the telephone and a lot of security cameras. Once inside and we got our key, everything else was great! The room was clean, updated and comfortable.

• Sandy (10/5): Salerno Overnight in May 2025 - One night stay in Salerno to visit the Amalfi Coast. Easy walk from the train station and ferry. Host was available to let us in when we arrived early and even let us store our luggage after our stay so we could explore Salerno for the day. Room was on busy street but we didn’t hear anything while we slept. It is a guest house so you can hear when other guests arrive but it didn’t bother us. The room was modernized with great amenities and the shower had cool lights that changed color! Coffee maker and snacks in the room as well as fridge came in handy. Close to all amenities in Salerno! The town is amazing and so glad we stayed here instead of overpriced Amalfi! The Cathedral and museums were incredible. The restaurant below and walking distance to ferries made our stay easy. Loved eating out on the little balcony and able to see the water from there!

• Nea (8/5): Great location - Everything was good, only issue I had was that when I arrived I couldn’t get in the building and the shower was dirty. Thank God I travel with Clorox wipes, I had to sanitize the bathroom. The staff is very nice and the location is excellent.

Everything in the room was in good condition. But I did not like the self service check in system, which did not work very well, it took me 15 minutes to get inside the bulding.

Also in amenities it listed 2 beach bars and a hair salon- none of which was there. It’s located on the top floor of a building with offices in it so it’s a little odd. Expedia listing said the front desk was there 12-9 but when we showed up we couldn’t get in. Had to call and then someone came. We never saw anyone again. Room was good size and had a nice shower. We put some dirty towels on the floor which usually means they will change them, but they picked them up off the floor and hung them back up. Overall, it was just okay for a place to crash for a few nights. The town/area itself are amazing.

We stayed in 5B for 3 nights. The room is not sound proof and the bed mattress and pillows are uncomfortable. By the end of our stay we both had backaches. With new pillows and perhaps a bed topper for the mattress I would stay there again.

Our train from Rome into Salerno got delayed by over an hour so our check-in time was similarly delayed. We let them know about the delay, and the owner kindly waited for us to arrive even though we would be arriving after normal business hours and he was very understanding about it. We had a comfortable stay and the location was perfectly situated, only about a 10 min walk or less from the train station and in a nice shopping area.

• Maria (10/5): - Little tricky to find (it is located on the 4th floor of a multi-use building so you do have to be looking for the sign on the side of the building), but once in it was super easy! The staff is very friendly and helpful and check-in was quick (you’ll want to arrange your arrival ahead of time as they will have to let you in the building) and is located in a very nice area with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We parked down the street at a parking garage (very nice workers and safe location) and carried our things up the stairs but there is also a small lift for suitcases. The rooms were very nice, with recently updated amenities, comfortable beds, and the breakfast bar in the room was perfect for a self-serve breakfast (coffee/cappuccino/pastries/juice etc) and included a mini fridge. Overall excellent stay in a safe and quiet location, would definitely stay again!

First time in a property inside another building but, the decor, furnishings and room were excellent and I grew to appreciate it.

The staff was incredibly accommodating of our late check in. They even provided free snacks and drinks which were a lifesaver when we arrived too late for dinner. The staff was responsive, helpful and kind. 10 out of 10 if you want simple, affordable accommodation in Salerno.

In reality there is no front desk and despite three messages giving my arrival time I still had to ring and sit on the stairs for 10 mins until someone came (luckily someone let me in the street door to the building) - that was my sole human contact of my 2 day stay. Breakfast is pre packed croissants etc left in room on arrival.. Also advertised as having a bar - it doesn’t. Reference to beach bars is clearly nonsense as this is a town centre hotel!

• christian (10/5): - The property is 10-15min walk from the Salerno train station so no need for taxi unless you have lots of luggage. It’s two blocks away from a main road that has all the shops, restaurants, and bars. If your catching the ferry to Positano or any other port the pier is about a 10min walk. The hotel rooms are located inside the fourth floor of an elevator building. It is important to reach out to the hotel and set up a time of your arrival. Once there we were greeted by Luigi; the most kind, helpful and hospitable individual. Not only did he show us to our room he also gave us insight and amazing restaurant recommendations. The room was great in size with balcony facing the town. Inside the clean room with tv and air conditioner we found complimentary snacks, water, coffee, and juices. The bathroom was nicely setup with walk in shower, toilet and bidet. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and hopefully everyone gets to meet Luigi.

The staff cleaned our rooms and restocked the snack bin and coffee stand they offer every day. In addition to that the rooms were beautiful and our particular room gave us a great view of the street below. I can’t recommend this establishment enough, they did a great job.

• Reanna (8/5): - Property was clean and had a great location! No one was ever really on the front desk so was difficult to enquire with queries but when staff were there they were so attentive. Thank you, would recommend.
• Joyce (10/5): - Lovely clean property, welcoming staff and easy to find. Good access to train station.
• Kieran (10/5): - Host was very friendly, our room was beautiful and location was amazing. Would go again next time in Salerno!
• Jerald (10/5): - The building is older with small lift elevator however had no issues with it. The rooms are updated nicely and a pvt balcony. Shops are nearby as well as the train station. The host is gracious and very accommodating. A definite yes if your staying in Salerno.
• Krystell (10/5): - Great little spot in the heart of Salerno, the balcony was huge with a table and two chairs, elevator, guarded parking very nearby, close to the waterfront, the host is very communicative (recommend to have a european phone plan/tourist sim card so you can be in contact with the hotel if you are arriving late, etc.
