Location location location! - Great terrace on the main floor with great privacy, smoking allowed, great sun and location couldn’t be better for first time in the city. Great staff. Rear facade will need some repairs soon or temporary netting. Sliding doors to terrace were not the easiest to lock and was loud when closing along with the sounds from closing blinds. I would stay here again!

- Timothy (7/5): Nice concept, cheaply executed - The staff, the location, the concept for a young family The check-in - I saw 3 other groups in addition to us struggle to check-in outside the limited reception times (1000-1800) The cheap execution - I understand that an apart-hotel is not fully serviced but for the large amount of money paid having to go to the supermarket on the first day as we'd been provided with 1 dishwasher tablet, 1 refuse bag, a tiny amount of washing up liquid, and no washing tablets is just annoying. €5 spent by Be Mate would have saved us the hassle and expense of buying lots of items that we left behind. And the "eco" taps were just annoying, saving water seemed to mean the pressure was so low then hot water didn't come on unless you ran the shower

I would book this place again! The elevator was tiny for all of our luggage (4 people) but it wasn’t a big deal since we were only on second floor.

Sehr geräumiges Apartment und die Möglichkeit, sich kostenlos frischen Kaffee am Automaten in der Lobby zu holen, ist sehr angenehm. Die Dachterrasse ist mit Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten sowie einer offenen Dusche ausgestattet. Nettes Personal am Check in. Wir konnten bis zum Check in (15 Uhr) unser Gepäck in der Lobby stehen lassen. Kleiner Kritikpunkt: Der niedrige Wasserdruck in der Dusche. Aber damit sind wir zurechtgekommen.

The peacefulness to the food to the friendly staff. Although they don’t make cava anymore, the wine is some of the best in Europe. It’s an incredibly relaxing estate for anyone trying to get away and find peace, quiet, and luxury. It was hard to reach the reception desk. Also, without a car, it’s hard to get around to see more of the Penedes area. The taxi was very expensive to get there, but with our few days there, we didn’t mind enjoying all that Montrubi had to offer

- Zhaneta (10/5): Amplio bonito y completo - Amplio bonito y completo Excelente ubicación en Paseo de Gracia, a 200 m del metro de Diagonal de la Linea 3, con muchos restaurantes, bares y tiendas cerca, el vecindario tranquilo y seguro. El edificio es muy hermoso. Personal de recepcion muy amable, atentos y dispuestos a colaborarnos en todo. La habitaciónes y las camas grandes muy cómodas. Amplio, iluminado, con cafetera nespresso, lavavajillas, lavadora. El apartamento era muy cómodo para cuatro personas, my espacio con dos baños. Nos ha gustado mucho.

Very minor but the bathroom could do with a fan. It has no window so it takes ages for the steam from the shower to disperse.

- anne (8/5): Fantastic location, nice accommodation. Felt very safe. - Very convenient location to many sites. The staff at the desk was very nice and helpful. Also the cleaning & maintenance people were very nice always smiling and saying hello. The apartment had a terrible smell to it. Almost like a septic smell or I even wondered was it a dead animal in the wall? They gave me a can of air freshener but literally every time you came back to the room it smelled terrible. We kept the balcony doors open much of the time as well as burned a candle to try to help. Not sure what it was from but we stuck it out as we were usually only in the room to sleep.

Quizás solo algo para sumar, el colchón de la cama principal en poco tiempo deberían renovarlo. Pero sinceramente es solo un detalle, el apartamento superó ampliamente nuestras expectativas!!

- Georgia (9/5): Spacious, Comfortable Apartment in a Great Location - We had a nice stay overall. The apartment was very comfortable for four people, with plenty of space and the convenience of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The location was excellent, with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby, while the neighborhood still felt quiet and safe. Access to the building was also easy, even late at night, which made coming and going very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. When entering the building there was a pleasant scent in the entrance area, almost like a signature smell, which created a nice first impression. It might be nice if something similar was used throughout the building as well, as the building itself is quite old and in some areas, you can notice a bit of that typical “old building” smell, which is understandable. There are just a few things that could be improved. Some of the furniture is a bit worn and slightly damaged, and the sofa and dining chairs could use a deeper clean as we noticed some stains. We also tried using the A/C for heating but didn’t notice much change in the room temperature. The shower and hot water were a bit temperamental at times as well. Overall, it’s a good place to stay in a great location, and with a few small improvements it could be even better.

- Cristina (8/5): Excelente ubicacion con algunos inconvenientes. - La ubicacion es excelente, y el personal de recepcion y limpieza muy amables El departamento era bastante oscuro, se tenia que encender la luz todo el dia, y la habitacion 2 y parte posterior no recibe luz nunca. Adicionalmente una de las unicas dos persianas de la sala no funcionaba bien asi que no se podia levantar limitando la ya poca luz que hay. La cocina deberia tener mas vajillas y vasos. La lavadora se malogro y no me dieron solucion, apesar que ya el dia antes comente que venia con fallas, no pude lavar la ropa de mi hija, perdi tiempo etc. nunca se disculparon. El password del wifi dejo de funcionar durante la estadia y tuvieron que enviar uno nuevo, tampoco se disculparon. Senti que la administracion no es igual de amable, ni proactiva, como si lo es el front office.

- Melissa (10/5): - The staff that worked at the front desk were the highlight. They were truly wonderful and had lots of good information. They helped us to know best ways to get to popular Barcelona attractions and gave us a map. They helped arrange taxis, including a very nice ride to the airport. Such a great stay and would love to come back.
- Sonja (9/5): Super comfortable stay in an excellent location. - Perfect location handy to metro, restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was great and the apartment was very quiet. It would have been handy to have a tea towel and / or a second dishwasher tablet, but not a big deal.
