- Masoud (4/5): Not worth the money - Pros: location, breakfast Cons: slow staff, small hotel (pics are deceiving), small rooms, squeaky bed, construction next door with noise starting at 7:30am, view from window is of a cement wall, poor shower water pressure. The most important issue for me was not being able to sleep past 7:30am because of loud construction and the squeaky bed. Bad hotel? May not. But far from anything you’d write home about. At this price, I’ve stay at much better hotels in Paris.

- William (8/5): - The room has a great view of the Eiffel Tower which is the only reason we spent so much per night. The hotel has a five star sign out front but is no where close to that. Our kids bought us celebratory champagne, balloon and snacks. Everything but the champagne was delivered. The room has a hair dryer but no outlet in the bathroom to use it! Twice our water and coffee pods were not replaced. Spa service was excellent. Most front desk staff were very good.

The staff went above and beyond for every request. They even helped us with adjustments when our flight was delayed a day. I would definitely stay here again. The only draw back at all is that the pool can be rented privately from noon-4. So if it is rented it’s closed during that time. But everything else was absolutely wonderful. It has that old Parisian feel and elegance.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel for comfort, food, location and servic - We were so impressed by Le Damantin. The staff were all and I mean ALL, really friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well arranged and lovely decor. The food was really good at every meal. We couldn't be bothered to go out for dinner our first night so ate in the hotel, and it was so good we dined in another night instead of going out. The hotel is really conveniently located, just a 30 minute taxi from Gard de Nord and easy walking distance of several sites of interest. The weather was lovely so we walked everywhere instead of getting the metro. We would definitely stay here again. The only slight negative was that our room window was over the courtyard and one night some (rather embarassingly, English) guests were being very loud until 3am, so perhaps a room with a window facing the street would be more guaranteed to be quiet. Otherwise we couldn't fault the hotel at all.

Arrived at the hotel at 6pm to no room being available-we had to wait for another hour until they found us a new room which was an upgrade-the wait made us late for our dinner plans which was a pre-booked tour on the seine, we just about made the departure time. Room itself was fine except the bathroom door did not close meaning no privacy for two friends sharing the room. When reported, reception came up and tried to fix the door to no success. We asked if they could leave us get ready as we were already late and fix the door while we were out.They came back and asked to fix it while I was in the shower 10minutes later. Upon return, they told us the door was "fixed" but it wasn't.They offered us a new room the next day for duration of our stay.New room was also on the upgrade floor and nice. We had to request for room service to clean our room the next day as our please clean the room sign was on the door from 10am-3.30pm without being cleaned. Dirty room service plates and trays were also left out in the corridor was a full day without being cleaned away. This is a very cute boutique hotel so there is only 1 lift - 1 very very slow lift. Add 10mins to your departure time if you're on a high floor as we had to wait that long a few times. Asked for a black americano on the first morning - got a filtered coffee and was told it's the same. Manager was very nice though & kept checking on us
- Annie (8/5): Nice but expected more from a luxury hotel - Check in was very average, no door man, no drink upon arrival. For a luxury hotel I would have expected more. Room was nice, a little bit damaged in places could do with a bit of a makeover and touch up.
- jack (4/5): It’s a 4* not a 5!! - It was a birthday weekend destined to be a disaster, I had requested from the hotel a airport taxi to arrive at the airport and not to be greeted by anyone… we ended up getting the train instead! We attended breakfast our waiter said everything on the menu was included, then to be asked to sign a bill for €80!! We went out for the day around Paris, returning to the hotel at 4:30pm to find our room hadn’t been made up! Is that a 5* service??? Upon checking out we complained again for all of the above, we refused to pay €80 for a awful breakfast- hotel reception had no comments other than “sorry” Our room was £300 a night, new didn’t receive a 5* service we shouldn’t be charged 5* prices.

The other had view of inner court, not worth much, room was quite small (king bed) as there was barley any room for luggage. Only issue was check-in, as one of the rooms was not clean until after 5pm, which was a little frustrating after a long travel.

Special shout-out to Shehryar for his warm welcome and great service.

The manager had a very rude attitude and also there was a noise in my room the entire time from the ac dripping, i made them aware but they did nothing.

- Amanda L (10/5): - This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The standard rooms with no view are very small but we had no intention of spending much time in the room. All the best sites to see are within 15-25 minutes walking distance from here and it's a fairly pleasant walk. Lots of construction in the area though, so be prepared for different routes. Uber from here is super reasonably priced. We ate at least one meal here every day and the food was PHENOMENAL. The bed was memory foam, very comfy. Pillows were soft/down feathers. The shower was gorgeous and had a giant waterfall shower head. The pool was my favorite thing. The pictures actually don't do it justice. It's all marble, the marble floor is heated, pool is heated a bit, and the temp in the pool space is very warm. There's also a sauna that was great to use. The staff are fantastic, they go above and beyond. I can tell this hotel caters to rich, rude people because the staff apologized anytime there was a miniscule wait time for anything. I'd most definitely stay here again if I ever visit Paris again, 10/10

At the reception I was told that they didn’t have those tables in the Expedia pictures. When I looked out the window, both neighboring rooms had that table.

Location was ok but still need to walk 10 mins from metro and 20 mins from champs elysees. Paid about 420 euros per night for a room on 2f with completely blocked view. Can only overlook the tall trees, can’t see the river in front at all, not to mention the Eiffel Tower. The plug of the bath tub can’t block water at all. The water kept flowing down which totally defeat the purpose of a bath tub. Tried to call the reception or housekeeping which is supposed to be of 24 hrs service but was given the answer that it is too late and they are not going to deal with it or give any solution to the problem at all. This kind of service or condition of the hotel which claimed to be 5 stars is a joke. Not even 3 stars.

The room was beautiful, the hotel staff courteous, and the location perfect for exploring Paris on foot. We were unfortunately located along the interior of the courtyard which meant that we came home every day to our room smelling like cigarettes and cigars being smoked one level below in the courtyard. While the hotel staff was courteous about the issue there was little they could do to solve it which was disappointing to say the least. Having paid top dollar for a junior suite I would have expected a little more.
