• Louise (8/5): great location on the edge of old town. 5 flights of stairs keep you fit. Free parking was close. - shower was a little hard to use as it was a little bath with a step in the middle. Had to be careful getting in and out of it

Me pareció un peligro ya que estaba alta y era muy chica y como si tuviera un asiento imposible entrar , prácticamente imposible Entendiendo que en Italia casi todo es por escalera, esta me pareció demasiado alta para subir con valijas sirve solo para pasajeros con 1 carrion.

• Mariano DC (8/5): Muy lindo departamento con una terraza increíble - Increíble la terraza, con vista al volcán. El edificio antiguo, muy lindo. La ubicación también es muy buena. La atención de Alessio, y Helena, excelente. Limpieza. Uno de los aire acondicionados enfriaba poco (el otro, muy bien). No teníamos cama para el niño, a pesar de que avisamos cuántas personas seríamos. Un punto a tener en cuenta: es un tercer piso por escalera (a mi no me molestó pero podría ser un inconveniente para otras personas)

• CARMEL (10/5): Excellent views and balconies, will be booking here again, when we next visit Catania - View and balconies were exceptional. Bed was comfy, maybe soft for some but good for us. Gorgeous vintage details of the decor. Shower is unusual. It is shaped to sit down and standing space is not very big. But pressure and heat were good. Be aware good views come with lots of stairs to get to apartment. About 5 flights of steps.

• Charmayne (9/5): Loved this unique apartment above the treetops. - Loved the unique location, above the treetops with a beautiful view of the cathedral and Mt Etna from one balcony and over the rooftops and city centre from the other balcony. Also it’s so nice to have a living room and kitchen while travelling. The 85 stairs to get to the rooftop but so worth it.

• Catherine (9/5): Excellent apartment with amazing views - private and everything you need to access the best of Catania easily and with p - The views (various times of day) from the terrace are just awe-inspiring! We loved the proximity to the Duomo, fish market and Via Etnea. The pastries from the cafe on the ground floor were amazing! Elena was very kind and welcoming, and left a special treat for us in the fridge!! There was so much we loved about this place… watching the birds soaring above the rooftops- feels like you’re part of the city! The tub/shower a little small- but very manageable.

• Ross (10/5): Amazing apartment, incredible hosts and stunning views - We had an absolutely perfect time here -- I can't imagine a better place to stay in central Catania. Communication with the host was flawless. We were a bit late arriving at the apartment due to Friday night traffic, but the host was waiting for us when we arrived and gave us a nice tour of the apartment while also explaining all of the options available in the neighborhood. The location is unbeatable; you're only a few minutes walk from everything you want to see/do in central Catania. The apartment itself is fantastic -- the decor is lovely and the TWO balconies with views to either Mt. Etna or the local neighborhood make for wonderful mornings with coffee or evenings with wine. Highly recommended!

• Andy (8/5): Lovely apartment and great views of the city - A typical Sicilian apartment in a great location near fish market and main square . 2 fantastic balconies to relax in the sun with a lovely view of Mount Etna The shower was different. There are about 70 steps up to the apartment so please be aware if you have mobility problems

The hosts helped us with all the information we needed. Thank you Elena and Allesio. I have nothing to comment on.
• Nicoline (7/5): Good - Brilliant view, excellent location. The location has a small kitchen and private bathroom and an authentic feel to it The mattress has had its best time and needs to be replaced.
• Arrujyan (10/5): Best place in Catania - Host was amazing! Elena and Alessio were amazing, host are kind and great energy and knowledgable about the area around. We wish we could have stayed longer. The flat has an amazing view and was comfortable meeting all need. Also, I am absolutely confident if you find anything missing Alessio and Elena will figure something out for you! AC was great, and we got ample help with parking. Nothing.
• Vivien (9/5): Pleasant short stay in Catania - Elena was super friendly from the beginning. Communication was very good. She had a Prosecco for us on arrival, even though we were quite late getting in to Catania. The apartment has very nice views of Etna and then on the other side to the streets of Catania. The kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. The bath/shower was on a bit of a small side.

• Elizabeth (10/5): This is the best place to stay in Catania! - A really comfortable and well-equipped apartment with everything you need for a short, or longer stay. It has a lovely private terrace with an amazing panoramic view taking in Etna on left side, a beautiful array of old roofs, Duomo dome and across a small park to the market, and ending with the sea on the right side. Also a balcony with table and chairs leading from the bedroom on the other side of the apartment. The apartment is bright and airy, the kitchen includes microwave, gas hob, coffee maker, good size fridge and all crockery and utensils. Bed is comfortable with plenty of storage space in the separate bedroom, big sofa and table and chairs in living room. Bathroom is clean and the boiler heats the water quickly. Elena was very welcoming and made us feel relaxed and at home straight away. Not really an issue for us, but many stairs to the apartment may make access a struggle for some.

Elena on hand to answer any questions on buses for day trips. Nothing .

We couldn’t have such a fantastic view living on 1 or ground floor 😊
• Olivia (10/5): Incredible views, in a great spot in Catania! - Hidden gym of a property with an incredible balcony overlooking the Duomo and Mt Enta! Excellent location in Catania, near the central train station and bus station for day trips to Taormina and Syracuse - also right next to the fish market and duomo! Couldn't recommend enough!
• Benjamin (4/5): Disappointing - The room had certain advantages, two very nice terasses, with a very tasteful decour and a certain style. Basic necessities in the kitchen were all there, the host met us to give us our keys, even though we were a bit late due to the bus. The appartment is rather central, so you are everywhere very fast. The mattresses were so soft that it was hard to sleep well because you couldn't lie straight anywhere. Others might like that. When we returned from the Etna the second day, we had no no running water in the appartment. Seems the whole house had no more water and it did not return until we checked out the next day. No idea, how long it stayed that way. The landlady was very suprised and could not do anything. We got quite a few water bottles from the store around the corner so we could get at least the most rudimentary washing done. The host offered us 50€ reparation of the 120€ or so the night did cost. You decide if that is fair for not, considering we could not even flush the toilet when we felt like it, but the landlady was not willing to increase that amount of money. Furthermore, we did not yet get the 50€ after two weeks and I have my doubts if we will. I will update the review if we do.
• Mariya (10/5): Great apartment in perfect location with friendly host - Top location of the property - it is close to the historic Center, public transport and great restaurants and bars. Right across the block you can find the busy fish market area. The view from the terrace is amazing - both day and night. The apartment is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. The host - Elena is very responsive and friendly. The bathroom was a bit uncomfortable - there is a small bath, which makes showering a bit tricky. Bed mattress was a bit soft.

• Clare (9/5): Elegant comfy little nest tucked up in the city’s rooftops with great views of the city and Mt Etna with a lovely host - What a fantastic little nest up above the city of Catania! We loved the location - really central to the centre with the Duomo and fish market very close by. The two balconies gave two very different views of the city and meant you can sit outside at any time of day. The kitchen was great for making up a few meals. The bedroom was lovely and had lots of clothes storage. Elena the owner was amazing and really attentive and helpful. The central location was really great but it is quite a noisy city! Fortunately with the doors shut and the air con on we got a really good night’s sleep. There are a lot of stairs - 4 floors - which was fine for us but is worth considering!

• John (10/5): Best stay in Catania - Best location! Central and very close to the main attractions of the city. In the nearby is the fish market. It is a must to have fresh fish or vegetables cooked on a site. The apartment has a large and beautiful terrasa with astonishing view over the cathedral and Etna. The owner helped us with everything we needed. Many stairs to get to the apartment. Not suitable for big luggages.
• Serena (10/5): Great apartment in super central location, with amazing views and a warm welcome - Fantastic comfortable apartment with stunning views from the roof terraces. Excellent central location, very handy for the historic centre and sights of Catania, and also easy from the airport bus stop. Smooth communications with a great host who gave us a friendly welcome and lots of information. Highly recommended, we would be happy to come back There are 85 steps up to the apartment, but honestly don't let that put you off - unless you have impaired mobility or massive luggage, these weren't a problem and were SO well worth it for the fantastic views from the apartment and its terraces.

• Yana (9/5): Nice stay in Catania - The location is fantastic - close to the center, to the main bus stop and the fish market. Not noisy as one may have expected. Incredible views towards the dome and Etna. Elena was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and well equipped. Everything was great but there are just a few little things that can be improved but definitely won't destroy your vacation :). The mattress is very soft and it feels like laying in a hammock. The shower is not very handy as you need to step into a very tiny and uneven bath. It is supposed to be a sitting bath but not really easy when you want to take a quick shower. The roof terrace is very cute and the views are breathtaking but it smell a bit of a sewage as most canalization is built externally.

• Amy (9/5): Great views, gracious host! - The property is in a great location. From the large terrace there is a view of the sea and Mt. Etna. The host is very gracious and leaves a bottle of Prosecco and some other drinks in the refrigerator. The host happily accommodated dropping off my luggage early and later an early check-in. The bi-level shower was awkward to use and slippery.
• Paul (10/5): If you want the best view in Catania stay here. - Probably the best view you will ever get of Catania and Etna. A perfect combination of the Cathedral, with the beautiful park in front, with Etna in the distance. Just exceptional and wonderful to view during the day and into the evening and night. Perfectly located only a few minutes to the Cathedral and main market. Only a 20 minute walk from the station (we day tripped on the train to Taormina and Siracusa easily). The apartment has a good sized terrace on which we sunbathed in the morning and into the early afternoon and a smaller terrace/balcony which was wonderful for watching the setting sun. Our host was really helpful (arranging a taxi for us on our departure) and made sure our stay was everything we wanted it to be. She made to whole experience very easy and checked in with us to make sure everything was great. Just perfect. There was nothing we didn't like. An immense view from the lovely roof terrace with panoramic views above the city.
