Guest Reviews
- Jamie (6/5): Ok stay - good location - The room was small, bed comfortable but really just a place for sleep. Was a good location but overall wasn’t a fan of room and stay. The wifi was really bad and hardly any toilet paper or even soap in bathroom, no towel change, and no water bottles in room.
Good price for just a place to sleep in a central location. Staff friendly and helpful but there was construction noise when sleeping too.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Great place. Clean. Would recommend 10/10
- Vincent (10/5): - Hotel was in between 2 main locations and close to some popular restaurants. Friendly staff, overall enjoyed the stay
- Simon (6/5): Don't stop at first impression - It all started wrongly as it was impossible to reach this hotel. I needed a baby cot for my son and until I arrived on site noone would answer me. It was pretty stressful.
Once on site the staff was pretty nice, upgraded me to a bigger room and arranged to find a baby cot.
Room was pretty dirty when I arrived but after I complained it got cleaned.
I had a nice stay overall, place was nice. Nice view and nice location.
- Tiffany (10/5): great value in canggu - Excellent value! Great location with cosy rooms and tasty breakfast. Nice location also. Staff was lovely. Would definitely stay again.
- John (8/5): Value for money. - The complex is small, rooms need a refresh. As do the pillows. Staff where good.
Breakfast was ok pool was lovely and cool
Location was ok, lots of food places around and about 30min good wall to the beach. Over all was value for the money we stayed for 5 nights
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We feel this property needs some work. The paint on the walls need redoing. There are cobwebs in the corners and bathroom. The rooms are a bit small and crowded. Coffee was terrible.
However, pool was welcomed in the afternoon. They had some green space as well. Beers were cheap and cold. Included breakfast was good. Location is a bit away from the beach - about 25 minute walk. There are taxis and GoJek there to us though.
- Brandon (10/5): Friendliest hosts in Canggu! - The staff makes the paving villa truly incredible. Very welcoming, kind, and over the top accommodating. I truly enjoyed my 5 nights here.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, great price, pool with a view!
The room was small, there was a dead cricket in the bathroom and the bathroom had a musty smell.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great place to stay! Good location, close to a lot of places but also a little secluded so it’s quiet. Staff was super friendly, outdoor kitchen was very nice to have as you can cook your own meals, pool and grass area was lovely, rooms were clean. Overall loved my time there and would definitely recommend!
- Michael (10/5): - This is a hidden gem just minutes to canggu. The staff are friendly and willing to help you with anything. Canggu, a great surfing spot for all levels is surrounded by bars and restaurants perched on the cliffs for an awesome view. If your into shopping then you will be well catered for. The paving villa will offer you a retreat at the end of the day. The rooms are excellent.
- Corey (6/5): Nice place but noisy!! - The place is very nice, it’s very new and our room was well maintained and clean. They have a great outdoor area overlooking the pool and rice fields. However what made our stay quite unenjoyable was the facts that 1. As it’s a new place they are still working on the upper levels and there are grinders and saws going all day, and starting at around 8am onwards, which is an early wake up for some. 2. We stayed over the weekend, and a nearby pub/club (pretty poison) hosts parties into the early hours of the morning, now it’s good when you’re there, but when you return home to sleep there is nothing to block the noise of the bands/DJs at 4am. This combined with the things in no.1 didn’t make for a great nights sleep. Overall it’s a nice place however don’t expect the greatest of sleeps, maybe have a few Bintangs before you go to bed so you fall asleep easier :)
- Jennifer (8/5): - Nice, new facility. Regular rooms are small, but you probably are only in them for sleeping anyway. Bed was very nice. Standard Bali bathroom facilities. Pool and terrace area are nice and relaxing, with a beautiful rice field view. There was some night club music one night, but that's most places in Canggu. Overall highly recommend!
- Sarah (10/5): Enjoyed our stay and extended - Great pool , fast internet clean rooms and friendly staff
- MICHAEL (8/5): I would definitely stay here again, - Great Location on the Canggu Cut through road between Batu Bolong and Batu Bewara, room and property were very clean, Hot water, Great Air Conditioning, Comfy beds, the pool and rooms have a great view over a beautifully undeveloped portion of Bali, and the staff were very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had,
- Adam (6/5): Dirty - We’ve been traveling for about 5 months now and have stayed in many many different places. I try to review fairly and highlight pros and cons. Unfortunately the Cons far outweighed the pros here.
Pros: bed was pretty comfortable, tv had English channels, AC was strong and the property was nice overall.
Cons: floor and toilet seat looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Water and dirt marks all over. Ceiling has mold, the safe didn’t work and there’s a popular Bar/skate park right next door that blasted music until midnight every night. Wouldn’t be too bad if the doors were thicker.
Also, lots of construction going on at the hotel. Banging and hammering starts around 7am and lasts all day. Not a con, but an FYI.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Cute little place! The breakfast is very average and I’ve noticed they have increased the price of the hotel by $10 so I think considering that, they could up the b’fast a little...
but all things considered- it’s clean, has a nice pool and is out of the way a little
- Yi-Hsiang (8/5): - Staffs are nice and friendly, room is cleaning but we had a half broken door, which is not very convenient everytime took us a bit effort and time to close and lock it... The area is surround by rice field, almost convenient if you have a scooter or don't mind to use scooter taxi.
- Aliyyah (10/5): Loved it! - Lovely, comfortable and affordable accommodation with very friendly and helpful staff. It’s in a great location and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality :)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice modern house - Staff was super friendly, rooms and house were clean and felt new.
Location is about 15-20 min walk to the beach (prob 5 min by scooter) which is quite good if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle for some peace and quiet.
Could have stayed for longer!
