- Joan (10/5): - Spacious for a couple, very comfy bed, close to hospital which was the purpose of stay. Only negative no power point in bathroom.
- Kim (5/5): Just - Located right near the hospital Carpets pretty grubby.
Furniture not at all comfortable
- Doreen (8/5): -
- Mia (7/5): Stayed for 1 week ! Nice in front of some restaurants but doesn’t have much amenities and room service didn’t make the b - Nice area Parking not always available on sight, booked out usually. Not many amenities and the bathroom layout was a bit awkward for a couple (not separate from the bedroom - with a roller door)
- peter (8/5): -
- Jeewanie (8/5): -
- Anthony (10/5): - Gym complimentry coffee
- Craig (4/5): The first experience there was great. Second experience was not so great. Don’t think we’ll be coming back. - The room is clean When we got there our parking hadn’t been set up. There was only one spot left. Lucky we got there at the time. We did. The young girl at the desk. Didn’t know even how to get to our room and we asked for the room we had last time which I thought we were going to get and we never got.

- jeni (9/5): - Not applicable Advised reception 20 March 2026 that door to the apartment was not closing properly and had been left ajar after room service. The latch was not connecting/engaged with the strike plate. I repeated this to reception on three separate occasions (separate days) during my stay - at the date of departure, 2 April 2026, the door had not been attended to/fixed and the problem remained the same. "Oh, the maintenance man hasn't been able to get to it get".
Unacceptable level of security/safety. The situation was not given the correct level of attention or priority surrounding personal security/personal safety/property.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Elliott (9/5): - Was close to hospital. And the staff were the best. It was all pretty good.
- Stacey (8/5): The apartment catered for our needs. - It was enough room for 2 couples and had what we needed for the weekend. It was close walking distance to the Austin hospital.
- Sandra (2/5): would not recommend - Friendly reception in check in. Other than that reception was non existent Terrible smell in the hallways. Rooms are supposed to be cleaned on certain days and towels replaced on alternate days. Towels were changed once in our one week stay and room wasn’t cleaned once.
- Julie (8/5): - I am disabled and short. The bed was far to high and very hard to get into

- Jason (10/5): - The size of the room and the window views from my room as I had the corner room so views of the city from one side and views of the country from the other side
- simone (9/5): -
- Fiona (8/5): - Very convenient to Austin hospital and shops.
Great to have in room kitchen and laundry facilities.
Gym and pool are great. Very skinny single beds, I felt more suited to a toddler!
Need a fan in the gym.
- Amelia (10/5): -
- Kimberley (9/5): -
- Stella (9/5): - We found the beds to be comfy
The apartment was spacious and clean
- Lorraine (10/5): A great spot to stay! - Excellent space and facilities. Staff were excellent!
- Gary (9/5): - Good size and clean Noisy being next to the main road.
Check in process was clunky and needed extra phone calls, emails and deposits
- Kyle (8/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): Very comfortable - Amazing staff very friendly and helpful The unit was spotless
- Jo-ann (9/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): Would recommend to those needing accommodation close to hospital - Proximity to hospital. Helpful customer service. Nice views Dishwasher not working. Up the hill from main shopping strip
- Jacky (9/5): Punthill Apartments came with recommendation. We will recommend to others. - Surprisingly quiet given the excellent central Location Great views from generous windows Accessibility Layout Generous Facilities Cleanliness Tasteful Decor Comfortable bed spotless crisp linen
Fresh air (no excess use of deodorant/freshener)
Incredibly friendly and helpful staff Two very small comments - just suggestions which didn’t detract from our very favourable experience
Guest parking bays are (understandably) very tight but given visitors esp from outer suburbs and rural areas tend to have larger vehicles - maybe create and reserve a few longer bays each day.
Toilet roll holder is a challenge for guests with restricted mobility. Also, Ideally there would be some provision for something to grab. Many guests will visit nearby hospitals. Aged, injured, unwell.

- Mark (3/5): Very underwhelming….. - The building has potential. Communication was really lacking from the point of marketing stating it has car parking.
• it has limited parking!
• when you call there is NO solution just attitude from the support person on the phone. And told us to use google to find local car parking. Not good customer service.
People were skimming through when you open the front entrance to the building, which made me feel really unsafe. Then waiting for us to use the lift.
No hot water in the morning to top it off…..I had to call to let them know……
Bed was far too soft…..and the sheets were stained. We stay over sea in third world countries and never get stained linen.
- Yuk Fung (8/5): -
- Gaye (10/5): -
- Leanne (9/5): Convenient as close to hospital. Clean & quiet - . .
- Candice (8/5): -
- Alison (1/5): Disgustingly unsafe and an awful experience - The room was disgustingly filthy and the access door to the balcony in the double room in 103 did not close. I had to pile up chairs in front of the door to blockade it. We rang the after hours who after initially expressing that there had never been an incident and therefore not to worry, then informed us that they did not have a key onsite and could not lock the door, the only option being to move us to two separate rooms of which we would have to wait 40 minutes for security to come onsite and do so. It was already 10:30pm at that point and we had driven 3 hours from regional Victoria to our stay. Needless to say we would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
- Sharee (10/5): - Full apartment, clean, comfy, Netflix Parking my partners ranger wasn’t ideal but we managed, just hung out over the line a bit

- Antony (8/5): -

- Gregg (10/5): - Located near hospital no it was excellent
- Tang Hau (7/5): -
- Narelle (8/5): Good - Affordable. Little shop at reception with wine etc closed at 7 but sign says 8?
- Brenda (9/5): -
- Justine (7/5): -
- janet (9/5): Great room, great location. Jessica at front desk was awesome! - Proximity to family
- Mallika (10/5): Ivanhoe Apartment for short stay - It was really like a home away from home. Soo convenient with a spic and span kitchen, washing machine and dryer with an excellent view to top it all. We will come back here... The carpark was a bit tricky but it was convenient once we got used to it.
- Maree (8/5): A comfortable and easy stay. - The views from our room were lovely, having a birds eye view of the local suburbs. The road noise was quite noticeable overnight. This was the only constructive feedback from our stay as we were very happy with everything else.
- Rasheed (8/5): -
- Karen (9/5): - It was close to the Mercy Hospital and train station
- Robyn (9/5): -
- Philip Dennis (8/5): If not for lounge would have rated excellent would stay again - New well laid out with great features and internet close to hospitals staff very good Lounge was very poor felt like sitting on bench paid parking is tight and quite expensive
- Glenn (5/5): - Location and quiet Paid for car parking, fob didn't work
After booking online, confusion reigned after a phone call from Punthill to change the booking through them. It became a very disappointing experience
- David (8/5): - No nini bar in the room
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Warren (9/5): -
- Lucy (8/5): -
- Esther-Jean (7/5): -
- Cheryl (9/5): -
- Michaela (10/5): -
- Kylie (2/5): - Parking - I paid $30 to park undercover as I thought it would be safer when travelling with kids and it ruined our weekend. The car parks belonging to punt hill have storage cages that block half the car park so your car doesn’t actually fit and I managed to smash my back windscreen (tip- front park don’t reverse), reception weren’t particularly helpful or friendly when I was organising the repairer the following morning - I suspect I’m not the first to have this “accident” in their car park.
We found the location to be not as good when you don’t have a car - it was good to be able to walk to cafes etc but there wasn’t a good playground for the kids (we did ask reception and they didn’t know of one). The room lay out was odd as well - a lot of wasted space and then a couch/sofa squished into a corner. Also - only 2 towels provided when we had 3 guests staying. Lastly - they took $150 on my credit card as bond which hasn’t been returned yet almost 4 weeks later. Overall a very expensive stay, we won’t be back again.
- Ken (10/5): - Not enough parking tried to reserve a spot and was booked out
- Tobin (4/5): - Convenient, apartment would have been nice had it been properly cleaned. We stayed there before and it was fine but this was disappointing. Filthy floors
- HUI YU (3/5): -
- Cathy (8/5): Very nice amenities, safe and clean - Lovely that they have a pantry for quick service downstairs. So nice to have a washer and dryer. The only thing was the couch was very uncomfortable and was the only place to sit. Would recommend the place. Couch
- Tetiana (8/5): We stayed there a couple of times and we like it. - Amenities, close to the location where we had to go.
- Werner (8/5): -
- Claire (10/5): Wonderful stay - The layout of the room was great, excellent location, clean and wonderful spacious apartment. Nothing not to like.
- jiro (8/5): -
- Kirstie (8/5): Convenient location - The location is excellent for the Austin Hospital. I love secure parking underneath, it disappoints me when I have to pay for it though, there was ample empty spaces. The reception staff were lovely: friendly and very helpful. Great Uber Eats options nearby to deliver quickly. The road noise in both our 2 bedrooms
Was loud. The bedrooms were hot even with the air con on. I wish there fans for the room which would help with temperature and noise. One of the queen beds was 2 singles pushed together so that adult had to sleep only on one side to be comfortable. Heidelberg seems to be a lot more expensive to stay in than the city, maybe because there is hardly any competition.
- Craig (10/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): - The room was lovely and large but sadly noisy as l could hear people in the coradoors and children playing in another room. Was also disappointed there was no phone charging outlet in the walls. It did suit my needs as it was close to The repatriation hospital where l had to go the following day
- Kirstie (5/5): Great location but not thrilled. - Close proximity to the Austin hospital Nobody mentioned there are different sets of lifts in the carpark that learner 2
Different sections so we ended up stuck inside why our fob opened the carpark and lift but stopped at the ground floor. We were trapped by a locked glass door - could see our room on the other side but couldn’t get to it. Arrived after hours and had to wait an hour for security to come and say walk around the corner to a different door and next time use the other lifts. Rollaway bed in study area extremely uncomfortable and loud road noise in the other bedroom. Small for the price, more like a studio room with an enclosed section, not like a real apartment.
- Charlene (10/5): -
- Barry (7/5): - Convenient to hospital appointments. Bumping my head when turning kettle on.
- Gail (10/5): -
- Alison (10/5): -
- Beverely (10/5): Over all we were very happy with our accommodation and would definitely use again. - The location was perfect for what we needed to do.
Breakfast? The lounge was uncomfortable and hard for us to get up from as it was low and we are elderly.
- Rex (8/5): - Well appointed and big unit. Didn't like the late check-in process
- Anthony (5/5): -
- Lynsie (10/5): Fantastic will stay again if necessary - The staff were fantastic. Very helpful and accommodating Nothing
- Chloe (5/5): - Really noisy traffic
- Janet (10/5): - Everything was lovely
- William (2/5): Disappointed - Location Bed had a public hair in it. Told reception.
2nd night had no hot water. Totally unacceptable. I wrote a message to you but no response
- Karen (9/5): - Easy access to location needed to attend. Large apartment Only small but should of had another outdoor chair on balcony
- Kath (8/5): Clean, tidy, everything provide that you could need, great kitchen facilities. - Had everything you cold need The couch to low very uncomfortable
- Lyndsey (10/5): -
- Louise (9/5): Perfect as within walking distance to hospital - Location close to hospital where family were staying
Bed was comfortable Cups were not that clean and walls getting very marked
