• Luis (ルイス) (9/5): - The facilities were well taken care of and the owners are great. They have bicycle rental available. Their hot springs are HOT and perfect after a cool day walking around the lake. The rooms are very comfortable. The location is a bit far away from most touristic places. There are a couple of good restaurants and convenience stores 10min away but the main parks can be more than an hour walking. So plan your trip with care.

• Julie (10/5): - Nous étions en famille dans le cottage et nous avions apprécié d avoir un logement aussi charmant. Les fleurs de cerisiers à la fenêtre et de pouvoir bénéficier des vélos ont été un vrai plus.

The beds were really soft, and the comforters were also nice and fluffy. The sleep was one of the best ones yet while in japan.

• Kusno (9/5): - We stayed in April 2026 and was given a very spacious room with toilet in the front. The room was super clean, it has coffee table chair and low table with tatami chair, that can be used for dining. The inn offer onsen with very little additional cost. Bike rental is available alson. The location is perfect. We would love to come back if we go to kawaguchiko area again.

• Lucy (10/5): Great stay with fantastic views of Mount Fuji - Traditional style with very comfortable, clean beds. The cottage was spacious with everything needed for a delightful stay. Perfect location close to the lake. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely 40 minute walk to the accommodation from the train station, through the picturesque village with smiley greetings from the locals in the neighbourhood. That we didn’t stay longer to fully enjoy the facilities.

Maintain a japanese style with tatami mat. 2. Feel like going back to a grandparent house. Clean and tidy. 3. The toilet is in the room. But no bathroom in the room. The bath shower is at an open onsen inside the house, shared with other visitors. 4. Bath towel, face towel, toothbrush, toothpaste, ryokan yukata (we use it as sleeping robe 😅, warmer and comfortable), all provided by owner. 5. All windows can be slide open. And we can see sunrise from the window behind other mountain/hills. 6. Fujikawaguchiko lake is at front entrance of the house. 7. Fuji mountain is at the back entrance of the house. 8. 25minutes walk to masjid fujikawaguchiko, through back entrance of the house. Walk through small roads, with beautiful scenaries of houses, flower trees, vegetables, bonsai trees and fuji mountain on the right side all the way to masjid fujikawaguchiko. 9. In the morning, take a stroll right next to fuji lake in front of the house. My stay is very short. Not able to venture out more.

• Olga (9/5): Excellent for those who r looking for something very authentic - It’s a lovely traditional Japanese style house. Very authentic. The location is beautiful as you may enjoy the lake view from the window. There’s no hot water in the rooms, we came in April and it was very chilly outside and inside especially at night. But the water is so cold. As it’s a Japanese style there’s no private bathrooms with shower. There’s a common onsen in the basement area, and there you can get shower, but no privacy. It was quite inconvenient for us, as we are not used to it. So we didn’t go🤭

The kitchenette and all necessary appliances are complete. Also, the owner is really helpful and pleasant. Not to mention, they have their own onsen within the hotel that you should try. We'll definitely be back. Nothing

• Lippolis (9/5): Cozy stay Mount Fuji view - Very well located guesthouse in front of the lake and just behind a stunning temple. The room was very spacious and very beautiful, with the view of the Fuji from our window. We also had a little living room plus private bathroom, only the shower was to share in the onsen. Personal advise for the property, I’d replace the tap in the bathroom (which only comes out cold water, intermittently activated by a sensor) with a normal tap equipped with an on/off switch and a hot water mixer

• Ai.llen (10/5): - I loved every detail of my stay. The ryokan-style hotel, my room, the onsen, the views of the lake, and how lovely the elderly couple and their son were. I rented a bike from the hotel the next morning and cycled around the stunning lake with mesmerizing views of Fuji-san. Stopped by a near by temple with the most beautiful cherry blossoms and serene peace. I finished my stay by taking the hotel shuttle back to the town center. I will definitely stay here again.

• 李 (10/5): - 真的很便宜，房间也很大，传统的和式房间，房间里甚至能看到富士山，设施很完全，早上还有免费的车送我们到河口湖站。除了晚上去，路上有点儿黑，有点儿吓人以外，完全没有任何问题！非常推荐！酒店的老奶奶👵老爷爷👴也很好，非常温柔，希望他们能平平安安，顺顺利利，健健康康地把酒店经营下去！下次去玩儿，还去住！
• WH (10/5): - This is way underrated. Surroundings in tranquil. You have the lake on one side and fuji on the other and hotel is right in the middle. The old man is loud but he is very pleasant to be with. He speak no english. He showed us around an and tried his best to explain but we understood ehat he says Traditonal japanese ropm with rice paper screen and tatami mate gave the best japanese experience you can find in Kawaguchiko. We are checking out today but we leave with good memories. None

There is shuttle service from Kawaguchiko station, ordered at station info center. You can rent bikes, there are vending machines for drinks etc. Only thing that room lacks is maybe shower, but there is onsen :) Nearby shrine welcomes you with great atmoshpere. 711 is in a short walk distance.

The structure is very nice and equipped with all that is needed and expected from a ryokan. Onsen in the basement is clean and feels very private. Would definitely recommend!

• ZEZHI (10/5): 舒适的河口湖之行 - 酒店在河口湖旁，并且提供自行车租赁服务，是自然风景爱好者的一大福祉，可以尝试绕湖骑行，说不定可以发现自己的人生之景。 酒店很安静，并且不会被酒店工作人员打扰。 酒店老板爷爷很和蔼，并且很耐心，祝福他长命百岁。 值得注意的是，老爷爷经常在酒店前台后的房间里休息，可以按铃找他，建议把酒店前台的每个提示牌查看一遍。

• San (6/5): Not really what I expected, but it's okay for the price. - The location is very near the river, and the view is amazing. Very traditional, old-school furniture and vibes. Went in November, the weather is nice if you like sub-zero temperatures. It's very far from the nearest town, need to walk for 40mins. Bus that goes to that area from Fuji Shinkasen is 2.5 hours. No shower in the room, only toilet bowl and sink. Water is freezing because no hot water in the room. Need to pay 150 Japanese Yen for shower and onsen daily. No breakfast or dinner even though it is a Ryoukan. Need to be back before 10 p.m., else cannot go in. Bed was too soft. Owner also speaks Japanese, not English friendly.
