- Aidan (6/5): Not my cup of tea - Nice room and nice staff Bathroom. There is mould all over the ceiling, the shower is not great, and the sick is blocked. For what you pay, the location is not great either and the other guests (sharing with four other people) were extremely loud.
- Alma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carlos (8/5): Very good -
- Sanja (10/5): Excellent - Everything was great! The host was so friendly and helpful, he explained everything about the city to us. The room was clean and comfortable.
- Una (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Loved every single part of this holiday home. It was compfortalbe, clean and near the center. Roberto was helpfull and kind and I recomend it! You wont make a mistake! Cant wait to come here again
- Davine (9/5): Calm accomodation in Rome nearby transports - We loved the place. It was calm and not that far from downtown. Nearby there are supermarkets, transport, restaurants. All the necessary to have a nice stay in Rome.
Good communication with host before, during and after the stay. Welcoming was very warming. He provided the best tips for visiting the city like a local.
Very easy to arrive from the airport Rome Fiumicino. Sometimes, other guest didn't respect the time to do noise. We managed at the end. It didn't impact our positive stay.
- Christian (7/5): Good - It was ok for a short stay.
- Jūris (10/5): Exceptional - Good value for money.
- Aleksandra (6/5): Pleasant -
- Zeljko (8/5): Great! - The place was very clean, location was easy to get to the main attractions in Rome however it was a bit further out than expected. There was a lovely cafe owner nearby from Bangladesh who was extremely helpful. He helped us get our tickets and told us which train we needed to take. He became our local guide! The staff at the place were helpful. Any question we asked via booking.com was answered promptly. Overall a nice location and place to stay. We were able to walk around the neighborhood and feel safe. Great food choices nearby.
- Maja (5/5): Passable - The location is great for the bus and it is a safe neighbourhood, since the room is in a gated community.
All in all, it could have been much better for the paid price. It was not too bad, however for the price it could have been much better.
There were no regular change of towels. In 6 days that we spent there, we had to ask for them to change our towels after 3 days. Even after that they did not change them regularly.
Same goes for the toilet paper - we had ONE roll and had to ask them TWICE for toilet paper since the two of us were spending a week there.
The room is okay but it could have been much much cleaner. The smell of old wood is strong and prominent, there was mold on the walls in the bathroom, the sheets did not smell fresh nor clean. We also got only one blanket for two people.
The terrace was terrible: it had trash out in the open on the terrace, the ash tray was full and it was all in all dirty.
There were also no mosquitoe nets nor curtains which would have been nice since the terrace is shared with other guests. For privacy we had to roll down the shades constantly.
The outlets were also weird and only once could fit our regular european outlet.
The kitchen is extremely old. The fridge was dirty and the kitchen also smelled like old furniture.
The walls are also quite thin, you can hear the guests from the other rooms.
- Rian (10/5): The perfect place to relax in Rome. - We loved everything. Everything was great.
- Anna (10/5): Great stay, highly recommended. - Great host! Provided a lot of information and really cared about the visitors.
- Ahmet (9/5): Superb -
- Natalie (7/5): I would definitely stay there again. - I liked the location very much. The owner was very accommodating when asked to change the room due to noise issues not related to the apt itself, but caused by the neighbours. The premises were very clean & organised. Wifi was great, and the kitchen very well equipped. It is close to public transport, train station, grocery, pharmacy, etc.... The beds were fantastic with great mattresses, and the private bathrooms very modern. Large terrace curated with gardeners. I did hear all the movements of everyone who stayed there. If someone got up very very early to make coffee or to use the kitchen (which happened whilst there), we all heard it. This is absolutely not a reflection of the owner/property in any way. It is just the property & structure itself.
- Matej (10/5): Great place - Room was clean, and had a private bathroom. Mr Roberto gave us great whereabouts on the Rome itself.
- Tav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandra (8/5): Very good - Mr. Roberto was really nice and guided us through everything.
The apartment was very clean and smelled nice, which I liked a lot.
The bathroom was new and modern.
Location was perfect for my needs. The bed matresses were not comfortable. Also, they need to consider new bed covers as these were too old and to be honest didn't keep us warm in the night.
Late check up was overpriced. And they should put it as a fee on the site, for people to know whether they want to book this stay if they arrive late.
- Anna (9/5): Superb - Perfect location, quiet neighborhood
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sergey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ivelina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maura (10/5): amazing stay - When we arrived Mr. Roberto welcomed us very warmly and explained to us everything about the neighborhood and transport. We were in the room with the private bathroom and everything was very clean including the shared kitchen which had everything you need to make basic meals. The bed was very comfy and we had access to a shared terrace which was really nice. The neighborhood is quiet, it's a bit further away from the city center (20-30 min by bus) but there are bus stations 2 minutes from the apartment.
- Franck (10/5): Excellent!!! - The availability of Barbara, the speed of the answers, her advice for the transportation close to the room.
The reception by Mr Roberto who explains the main topics, including transportation by bus for exemple. Housing very secure.
And mainly, Barbara accepted that we let our suitcase at the entrance of the housing the last day, not to have it during our last day of visit!!! It was very very appreciated!! Thanks, both, Barbara & Mr Roberto, for your help! Maybe to add a door between the kitchen and the rooms because we heard well the noise when people use the kitchen.
- Ahmed (10/5): Feel like home! - The apartment is located in a prime location in Rome. The room facilities are excellent. Completely homely environment. The owner is very supportive. I would like stay there again once I visit Rome. Too many gates to enter into the property although it is important from security point of view.
- Mauro (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (8/5): Mostly great, one disappointment - Great location near a train station, grocery store, and bus stops. Check in was easy -Roberto was a great greeter!! The kitchen met our needs and we were happy to have a washing machine. The host was mostly a good communicator. On Saturday night, the air conditioner stopped working (creating cool air). I notified the host on Sunday, and she said that she couldn't get a worker in to look at the air conditioner because there are not workers available on Sunday. She sent me a message Monday morning to say that a worker would be there between 10:30 -11:00am, but that I did not need to be there. We returned at 4pm, and the air conditioner was not fixed and we no longer heard anything from the host - no update, no apology for the problem. Rome was in the middle of a heat wave, so I'm sure there was high demand for air conditioning repair staff. I do not fault the host for the problem, but I am disappointed that she didn't acknowledge and apologize for the problem, and that she stopped communicating with me.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Made the trip exactly what we were hoping for. - location was perfect. close to public transport and meals. property was clean and staff was excellent.
- Sunil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kristiine (7/5): Good - It was close to city centrum. Good transport to oldtown. That electricity goes away all the time. And neigbours screaming every evening (watch the football game).
We only sleep there!
- Brenda (9/5): A very enjoyable couple of days in a quality apartment in a very convenient location - A lovely apartment in a convenient location, but, just outside the usual tourist areas, so you get the feeling of living in the community, Very close to all amenities and public transport. The room would benefit from an extra bedside lamp, some extra pillows and new sheets.
also the advertised parking space did not materialise.
- Ana (4/5): Criminal expensive, total disappointed. Need to show more human sense! - the shower, Mrs. Roberto is the only one who is polite and nice! That they don’t do late check in, and even if you try to find a way or solution Barbara is not open to do it… even knowing us that we were to arrive in the middle of the night we decided to pay for it, and this lady she didn’t let us to stay there and we had a terrible night without any sleep in the station Tiburtina outside in the cold and also we lost a day of tourism because of this!!!
- Lauren (7/5): Good -
- Dovile (9/5): Superb -
- Michal (5/5): We wanted to use parking inside the residence, which is in description, but we were not allowed, so we had to park on th - Mr. Roberto is very nice person.
Room was nice and clean. Walls are made from paper.
We heard everything from other rooms.
Parking on the street, not inside the residence.
- Bonchul (9/5): Superb - Mr.Roberto was very kind
- Antonija (7/5): I liked our stay at Tana di Sofia, it was good value for price and location was really convenient. - I liked that it was quiet during the night so you could get good sleep and wi fi was extra fast. There was enough shops and location was very convenient. Bed and pillows were somewhat uncomfortable and the fridge was a little dirty.
- Annaipaweł (10/5): Really recommend this place. - It's really good location with plenty of good restaurants and bars. Terrace where you can sit and drink coffee is wonderful. The air conditioning in room is great after the whole day of sightseeing in heat. I really recommend this place to stay during the trip. The smell of cigarettes in the room as I'm non smoking person.
- Annonomous (10/5): - large room, kitchenette, close to neighborhood restaurants train an bus lines. Needed a better way to dry towels.
- Pam (8/5): - Good.points. Very close to buses and major train from airport. Very close to two grocery stores and restaurants. Very nice patio and free washing machine. Nice kitchen and fridge with everything you need to cook. And HUGE fridge/freezer. Barbara was great about responding to our lost phone and getting door handle fixed. Points to improve. Clothes pegs for outdoor washing line, MUCH better lighting in room - maybe a bedside table with a lamp? Had to use a flashlight to read a book. Instructions in English and Italian how to work washing machine, stove and coffee maker.
- Nelson (2/5): Arapuca romana - Não fiz, é apartamento compartilhado, edifício velho e sujo
- Natasha (10/5): Ci ritornerò sicuramente - Ottimo alloggio, ottima posizione, camera accogliente e soprattutto con bagno privato in camera
