- Jacqueline (10/5): Wunderbar - Am meisten hat mir der persönliche Kontakt gefallen, die Freundlichkeit und die Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Personals und natürlich auch vom Direktor. Das Zimmer hat absolut meinen Erwartungen entsprochen und auch die Lage sorgte dafür, dass ich mich sehr wohl fühlen konnte und meiner Passion, die grossen Schiffe zu beobachten, sogar spät abends, nachgehen konnte. Ich bin schon eine kritische Person aber kann nichts auflisten, was mir nicht gefallen hätte.

- Thomas (9/5): - Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht Wirkt etwas oldshool, hat aber gerade deswegen einen tollen Charme. Man hat irgendwie leichte Titanic Vibes. Riesig groß (65m2) mit 3 grossen Zimmern und 2 sehr exclusiven Bädern. Unser grosser Hund war hier auch seh willommen, ist in Cuxhaven nicht überall so. Eher im Gegenteil. Hunde sind oft unerwünscht. Trotzdem kostet ein Hund natürlich extra. Je nach Grösse bis 35€ /Tag. Hervorzuheben ist auch das Mega Frühstück. Ich war schon in vielen Hitels, aber dies ist mit Abstand das Beste. Keine extra Handtücher im Wellnessbereich vorhanden.

Als Alleinreisender bekommt man verzögert Aufmerksamkeit. - Der Preis ist mit den Jahren exorbitant gestiegen, ohne dass die Zimmer seit 2011 renoviert worden sind. Damals waren sie schön.

- Stefan (3/5): Das Verhalten der Angestellten an der Rezeption überschattete leider meinen ganzen Aufenthalt. - Ich war zum dritten Mal Gast in diesem Haus. Das Hotel hat einen individuellen Stil, was ich mag - alles trägt eine eigene und spezielle, oft auch liebevolle Handschrift, was hervorzuheben ist. Das Haus hat einen schönen und großzügigen Wellness-Bereich inkl. Schwimmbad. Das Personal beim Frühstück ist freundlich; die Auswahl am Buffet gut, in dieser Jahreszeit für den Preis jedoch nicht exorbitant. Ich buchte über dieses Portal explizit ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Als ich ankam, wurde mir von der Frau an der Rezeption erklärt, dass ich wohl kein Zimmer mit Meerblick hätte. Also sah ich mir den Raum an und fand die „Aussicht“ von Foto 2 vor. Ich zeigte der Empfangsleiterin den Ausdruck meiner Buchung, auf dem „Aussicht“ stand, schwarz auf weiß, was unwirsch abgetan wurde. Als ich nicht locker ließ, verlegte sie sich auf die Strategie, dass das ja eine Aussicht sei, aber kein Meerblick und der Fehler überhaupt bei Booking läge. Als ich sagte, dass ich mich nicht ernst genommen fühle, meinte sie, es gebe in diesem Haus eben Land- und Meerblick (ach was!). Aber für nur €25,- zusätzlich pro Nacht könne sie mir ein Zimmer mit Meerblick zur Verfügung stellen. Unverschämtheit, Geldgier und Unverfrorenheit (habe ich so in noch keinem Landgasthof oder Ibis erlebt) machen mich immer ein wenig sprachlos. Da ich aber von meinen vorherigen Aufenthalten von dem Haus immer noch eine gute Meinung hatte oder zumindest haben wollte, nahm ich das Zimmer mit Meerblick – und geriet in einen Schuhkarton mit Meerblick. Nur dass der Inhalt leider nicht Louis Vuitton war (von wegen 5 Sterne und nun €861,- für vier Nächte!), sondern sozusagen ausgelatschte Sandalen der 70er – und so roch es auch. Es fehlte ein Schreibtisch (war auch gebucht). Es lag Staub herum (Foto 1), Möbel, Türen und Fernbedienungen waren pekig, in der Dusche befanden sich noch ein Shampoo-Schraubverschluß der Vorgänger, schwarze lange Haare, sowie ein blauer Duschgelfleck in Augenhöhe, der während meines gesamtes Aufenthalts weder bemerkt noch entfernt wurde. Vom schlecht entfernten Schimmel in den Fugen gar nicht zu reden. Die Polster der Sessel rochen, mit Verlaub, nach alter Frau – und so rochen auch meine Pullover, als ich zuhause wieder auspackte. Es dauerte ewig, bis warmes Wasser floß. Das Badezimmer war so klein und verschachtelt, dass es mich an einen Campingwagen erinnerte. (ohne 5 Sterne).

- Daniela (9/5): Entspannung pur - Das Personal, egal in welchem Bereich ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Diese Höflichkeit ist nicht überall zu finden. Der Ausblick ist umwerfend und die ruhige Atmosphäre genau das, was man zum Ausgleich des Alltags braucht. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und es gab keine unerfüllten Wünsche. Auch der Besuch am Abend war wunderbar und die Gerichte wurden äußerst geschmackvoll und hübsch angerichtet. Unser schönster Wochenendurlaub bislang. Größten Dank an alle Mitarbeiter. Es gibt nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat

Das Frühstückbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen, obwohl das Personal erwähnte, dass es in der Nebensaison nicht voll bestückt sei. In einem 5*-Haus sollte es auf dem Zimmer die Möglichkeit geben, sich Kaffee oder Tee zuzubereiten.

- Britta (7/5): Wie im Museum - Das Frühstück war bemerkenswert. Das Hotel gleicht einem Museum. Man muss es schon mögen, um es zu schätzen. Mein Zimmer (DZ zur Alleinbenutzung) war zwar groß, hatte aber keine schöne Aussicht. Okay, ich hatte Landseite gebucht und auf Bauarbeiten wurde hingewiesen, allerdings hatte ich nicht damit gerechnet, dass es soooo laut und unattraktiv sein würde. Zudem gab es eine am Bett befestigte TV-Feenbedienung, an der ein weißes Pflaster hing. Hat das die Reinigungskraft nicht gesehen? Ansonsten wirkte der Raum sauber.

- Heinz Peter (9/5): A wonderful hotel with excellent services, in a vibrant location of the town with easy access to the beach. - A true five star experience. The hotel offers everything one needs for a wonderful time near the beach. The service, facilities and staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever experienced. Although the suit we reserved was amazingly comfortable, the side view of the ocean was a bit disappointing and the noise level in the morning with delivery trucks and cars was quite loud, if you left the window open. Other than that, there are no complaints at all.

- Dr.Thomas (10/5): - Absolut zufrieden mit Hotel und Kurz-Aufenthalt. Zimmer mit wunderschönem Meerblick. Sehr wohltuender „alter Luxus-Schiff-Stil“ im ganzen Hotel ist nobel und romantisch. Restaurant sehr gut, nur leider ab 22h geschlossen. Frühstück-Buffet erstklassig. Zwar sehr dezente Musik im Restaurant, besser wäre gar keine. Autoparkplatz im Haus, günstiger Preis. Personal weit überdurchschnittlich gut. Hotel durchwegs empfehlenswert!

- Marion (8/5): - Zimmer und Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Freundlichkeit hervorragend. Parksituation nicht so gut. Im oberen Bereich im allgemeinen alle Plätze besetzt. Tiefgarage sehr enge Einfahrt, bei einem etwas größeren Auto für nicht so geübte Fahrer etwas schwierig.
- Michael (8/5): - Hotel hat seinen eigenen Charme. Zimmer geräumig, Matratzen etwas weich, aber dennoch bequem. Leider war das Duschwasser nur lauwarm. Das Frühstück abwechslungsreich, hervorzuheben sind die sehr freundlichen Servicekräfte. Negativ: Laut Buchung gab es kostenfreie Parkplätze, vor Ort sollte man dann auf dem Meldeschein aber 12 EUR Parkgebühren pro Tag quittieren. Auf die Buchung hingewiesen, bedankte sich der Hotelchef für diese Info, trotzdem war er lediglich bereit, sich auf die hälftige Parkgebühr zu einigen. Das hätte ich bei einem derart wertigen Hotel und einer eindeutigen Buchung incl Parken anders erwartet.

- Søren (10/5): 3 Dage ved Nordsøen og Elben. - Hotelet ligger i et lækert strand område hvor man kan opleve natur, tidevand, og ikke mindst vadehavet forlænelse i tyskland ved udløbet af Elben i nordsøen. Der er mange udflugts muligheder i området samt byen Cuxhaven.

Das ganze Hotel kann mal nur mit Chipschlüssel benutzen. Der Aufzug, die Türen (von denen es im Hotel sowieso recht viele gibt-allein in unserem einfachen Doppelzimmer 5 Türen),... Trotz erhöhtem Zimmerpreis kamen noch einige kleinere Extrakosten auf uns zu...(zb 11€ Tiefgarage, tägliche Steuern von ca.5€ pro Tag für 2 Personen,...) Im Grunde und ganzen: tolle Lage, altes Hotel, mittelmäßiger Service, tolles Frühstück (Abendessen haben wir nicht genutzt, jedoch hätten wir das nach Ansicht der Karte auch nicht- (fast) ausschließlich Fisch und das sehr teuer...)
