It's about a 15 minute drive out of Dubrovnik, but you definitely get more for your money here as opposed to in Dubrovnik itself. We had a lovely room with a fantastic sea view, the room was clean and comfortable. The host was incredibly gracious and accommodating, there was a cold snap when we visited, so it was really cold. The host even went to fetch more blankets to make sure we weren't cold during the night. Nothing

Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und kümmern sich um alles was anliegt und sind jederzeit erreichbar. Supermarkt und Restaurant direkt gegenüber. Bushaltestelle ca 400 m entfernt. - Ronja (10/5): - Wir waren eine Nacht vor Ort und begeistert von der Sauberkeit und der Ausstattung des Zimmers. Der Hotel Eigentürmer war super herzlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Direkt oberhalb des Hotels gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und ein Restaurant. Bis zum Strand sind es nur circa 300 Meter aber auch am schönen Pool konnte man gemütlich entspannen.

- Sabine (10/5): - Alles sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Die Betten sind super bequem . Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll. Der Supermarkt mit frischen Kaffe to go befindet sich vorm Haus. Im Umkreis gibt es ein sehr sehr gutes Restaurant "Zupaho". Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und bemüht. Der Taxidienst vom Eigentümer war rund um die Uhr möglich und im Vergleich zu den öffentlichen Taxis günstiger. Auf Anfrage war es auch kein Problem sich einen Föhn zu borgen. Zu den Stränden gelangt man über einen beschilderten Weg mit einigen Treppen und toller Aussicht. Dort gibt es gute Bars und Leihliegen mit Schirm.

Hielp direct met koffers sjouwen aangezien mijn man haast niets kon ivm een frozen shoulder. Wij vonden zelf Caftat het leukste plaatsje. Maar accomodatie en omgang was goed. Danko z'n vader en Danko vroegen ook vaak of we iets nodig hadden zeer goede service. Liefs van Gerard en Dini. Gods Rijke Zegen gewenst Accomodatie was erg klein maar goed voor ons beiden. - Esther (10/5): Heerlijk. Genoten van het uitzicht en relaxte sfeer. - Prachtig uitzicht. Mooi appartement met 2 slaapkamers. Ruim en mooie badkamer! Zwembad niet groot, maar fijn om even af te koelen. Ligt aan doorgaande weg, maar absoluut geen last van aan de achterkant. Supermarkt aan de overkant en fijn restaurant Zupcica. Helaas geen koffiezetapparaat. Gaan te vaak kapot volgens eigenaar, maar dus wel een gemis.

Accueil chaleureux et un appartement étincelant avec de beaux matériaux, grand et bien fait. 166€ en pleine saison, mais avec une réduction en dernière minute, c’est un certain prix mais on voulait profiter avant de reprendre l’avion. - Sarah (8/5): Villa Sunset has stunning sea views, but beware the steps if you are less mobile! - Great sea views from the terrace of our comfortable apartment. The pool was just steps away and, although not large, perfectly good for swimming and relaxing around. The Studenac supermarket is across the (busy) road and next to it is Zupcica, a great pizza restaurant. The owner’s father offers a taxi service to nearby areas and the airport, although we found Uber to be cheaper. Villa Sunset is near to a lovely, pebbly beach - beware there are 233 steps down to it, hence 233 back up! The steps up to the road! The whole area is very hilly, and those who are less mobile may struggle. Not a criticism of the property, just something to note. Although the apartment was well equipped, it lacked a toaster. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

The owner was really friendly and helpful. A taxi service is also offered. I would certainly recommend Villa Sunset. Nothing to add here.
- Alexandra (10/5): Gorgeous Property and so Comfortable! - Loved the location (within walking distance of beach), the pool, and how modern and clean the apartment space was! It had amazing views of the ocean from the terrace as well. We loved that a nice restaurant and supermarket were within easy walking distance. It’s also less than a 10 minute drive to the Dubrovnik Airport, and the host is a taxi driver. He’s very reliable and charges a flat fee! The host is also so kind and welcoming — we could tell his family put so much work into the building to make it enjoyable. Nothing! Just be aware that there are quite a few stairs to get up to the main road to access the grocery store and restaurant. If you are physically impaired it may be a bit tough. Other than that it is the perfect spot!
- Amela (9/5): Nice and clean - The location is great if you have a car... there are free parking spots that are priceless in the Dubrovnik area. The beach is just 3 minutes by car or you could use steps and go to the beach. The apartmant was clean, and bedrooms were spacious. The view from our terrace was beautiful. The swimming pool area is clean and nice with a shower, sunbeds and toilet. The owners are kind and helpful. We didn't have a hair dryer or extra garbage bags in the apartment. We called the owner, and he brought it immediately, which is ok, but it would be nice to have those things in the apartment.

- Sheila (10/5): Beautiful location,well-equipped apartment and friendly welcome - The location was amazing. Beautiful view of the sea from apartment and pool. The apartment 7was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for cooking or just relaxing. It was on the main road but very quiet as we couldn’t hear traffic. Bus line 10 was just nearby at Plat bus stop. We could walk to nearest beach down the steps or 10 minutes to Plat beach. Or we could take the bus to different beaches along the coast. The owners Zoran and Danko were very friendly and helpful all the time and looked after us well. We took a taxi transfer to airport with Zoran. We highly recommend this apartment. We liked everything! A lot of steps everywhere in this area but it was good exercise and we didn’t even notice them by the end of the two weeks.

They call it Villa Sunset for a reason-the view from our balcony was gorgeous and we were treated to some spectacular sunsets. I took Uber to Dubrovnik and it cost only like ten euros or so, so it wasn't that far away if you like to visit old town etc. There's also a bus line. The place is about 7 kilometers from airport, so that's quite near too (but not too near). The day was rainy, so I didn't get to enjoy the pool enough :D

Dubrovnik is not so far and reachable with taxi. I was attending a conference in Sheraton and it was really close - 10min The closest grocery store was closed because it was not a touristic season.

The property is set upon a cliff, making both sunrises and sunsets unimaginably beautiful. My stay here was peaceful and the host was very helpful. From the moment I booked Villa Sunset, the host communicated very well with me. Upon our arrival, he greeted us warmly, took care of our bags, and even upgraded our room for no extra cost! I could tell that hosting travelers was more than just a job to our host. It is a way of life that he enjoys! I did not have any problems here. It was a very nice stay.

- Esposito (9/5): One of the best holiday - Everything was beautiful and clean, from the kitchen to the bathroom and the bedroom. Even the small terrace was wonderful with an amazing view of the sea. It came with everything to cook a meal, to buy groceries and a restaurant and a bar to have launch, dinner or a coffee right outside the house. The house owner was so kind and explanatory and gave us some advice or two for a better stay in Croatia Nothing. The only problem was the stormy weather for the last 3 days of our permanence.

- Timetraveler13 (4/5): Room without the sunset view. - The view was nice, from areas of the house above my room. The location was convenient to go to Dubrovnik or ?Cavtat, but it was difficult to find some decent restaurants in the area. I did find a good restaurant, but that was after I found that the one I wanted to go to was not accepting customers. the house has nice facilities, but not the lowest room that I rented. I guess it would have cost more to have a nice view. So if you think the price is reasonable think twice. Packing out of the room was a long trip uphill. By the time I brought part of my luggage, the cleaning lady threw away some of the materials that I was planning to bring up in the next trip. The bathroom was in principle nice, but it was not well set up. I will be back in Dubrovnik area, but not to this rental.

The villa is in a great location with a beautiful view and wonderful facilities. I'm so happy we stayed here and not in a hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

- Sead (10/5): - We had a great experience at Villa Sunset in Dubrovnik. The view was epic. The room and the balcony was well maintained and clean. Across the street we had a convenience store and a restaurant which was so convenient for getting food and supply.
- Marilyne (6/5): - I guess based on the other reviews I was expecting a bit more. Yes, the host is welcoming, yes the place is brand new and clean, yes the view is nice . But without a car there isn’t much to do around. The old town of Dubrovnik is about a 20 minutes drive. Cavtat is a 15 minutes drive. There is a mini mart and a restaurant across the road which is convenient. I had to buy shampoo, soap and coffee since none were provided in the room. There was construction noise starting at 7.30am. I wake up early so it’s ok, but when I once went to the pool, the noise was so loud that it wasn’t super relaxing. I would have preferred to stay closer to the old town…but overall ok
