Guest Reviews
- NAZAREEN (6/5): The stay was plesant enough - the location, the pool The water pressure was too low, breakfast wasn't as we expected, the room had no hair drier or shaver, and no iron box, the tv only had 1 local channel, there was no DO NOT DISTURB sticker so the staff would knock on the door until i get up to open which is disturbance
- Beatha (6/5): - The place is sparkling clean. Water in the shower was terribly small, phone not working. TV cable was very limited.

- Adrianna (9/5): HOTEL IN THE CITY CENTER OF MOSHI - Apart of beautiful lodges localized in the Moshi suburbs, this hotel seems to be the one of the best localized in the city center of the town.
Rooms proposed by the hotel has a very different sizes. Bathroom in the rooms and breakfast buffet are basic but nothing is missing. We were extremely satisfied about the service. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Nothing was a problem.
- Ivy (2/5): Would not stay again - There was no hot water. After a week trekking Kilimanjaro, this was the ONLY thing I wanted from a hotel Bed was uncomfortable, no hot water, wifi barely worked, no tv
- Ann (8/5): Nice hotel with wonderful staff. - Clean and friendly staff. They were doing construction while I was there. Noisy during the day.
- Alastair (1/5): My credit card details were swiped and within two hours several fraudulent transaction were on my card! - My credit card details were swiped and within two hours several fraudulent transaction were on my card! My credit card details were swiped and within two hours several fraudulent transaction were on my card!
- Marydell (5/5): Loud and an hour from the airport. - The room was very large and clean. The shower was not hot, the shower curtain was not long enough so water got on the floor, they did conststuction during the day so the room was load, the room was not sound proof so I heard all of road noise and and someone watching a football match. The tolet was also missing the button to flush it.
The a/c also periodically stopped. There was also a power outage for about 3 minutes after which the hotel turned some of the breakers.
- Cristina (5/5): Overpriced for the amenities - Convenient location
Good food options
Has AC and wifi in the room Room didn't feel very clean
Didn't offer any amenities like shower gel, shampoo, comb etc that other hotels at this price offer
Uncomfortable matress

- Nina (10/5): - Hotel staff could not be better. As I had requested, staff saved me a room with an amazing view of Kilimanjaro- absolutely breathtaking to wake up and see!
Everything was clean with big fluffy white towels and plenty of hot water. Also cold a/c. When something did not work, front desk sent someone to fix the problem very fast.
Included breakfast buffet was good too - freshly cooked eggs with a buffet of fruit, beans, toast, cereal etc etc.
I did not swim but the pool looked clean and inviting. Hotel staff was quick to get me a taxi to go out and about when I did not have my own guide setup.
In all, I stayed three nights and would stay at Parkview again!
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (8/5): Friendly, comfortable and good value hotel in central location. - Friendly staff, great food at very reasonable price, lovely pool area. Deluxe rooms very spacious. Everything we needed for before/after our Kilimanjaro climb and safe luggage storage while we were away. The bathrooms are rather old.
- Jonathan (7/5): Good - The hotel is in a great location for Moshi town, clean and comfortable. Easy to relax in The restaurant was very slow . It took 2 hours to get food from order. Food itself was average for Tanzania.
I did have one issue on late checkout. I was told $37 us would be the charge, but they tried charging me $80 US .
- Marit (7/5): Good value for money. - The view from rooftop terrace is really good. It gives a full view of Mt Kilimanjaro on a clear day and the soft light during sunrise and sunset is beautiful.
- Rs2812 (8/5): Very good - Location, cleanliness of the room, staff politeness Nothing
- Adrian (7/5): Good -
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Staff were all just lovely. Breakfast was great, varied and served over 3 hours, and the evening menu is varied and the evening meals I had were delicious too. The room was huge, and quiet (my room overlooked the inner courtyard and swimming pool) even though the hotel is really close to the centre of town. Bonus is the fabulous view from the open top floor - of Moshi town and Kilimanjaro. Hard to find a criticism really. The hotel uses a generator so that there is electricity even when the local supply fails. But the generator isn't strong enough to power the air conditioning and water heating all the time, so on one occasion I didn't have enough hot water. Hardly a major problem!
- Martin (9/5): Superb - Friendly staff, nice and very celan rooms, central location, breakfast and dinner was okay. I can honestly recommend this hotel.
- Nasser (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katazborka (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Erin (10/5): - The staff were amazing, welcoming, and very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was wonderful. Fresh juice, fruits, eggs, and a couple different sides, toasts, and cereal were perfect before and after my Kili hike. Servers are so sweet and when I returned from my hike, they asked how I did and we jumped up and down and hugged in celebration :) Rooms were clean, simple, and perfect for a good night’s rest. There is a shopping center a quick 5 minute walk away with anything you might need. Snacks, toiletries, beer, candy, etc. When I come back to do a safari, I will be staying here!
- Steven (10/5): - I stay at this hotel every time I am in Moshi and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Parking is easy. Meals are very good as well.
- Marcia (8/5): - The rooms were clean
- Steven (10/5): - I stay here regularly and really enjoy each stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. They fix any issues quickly.
- Steven (10/5): - As always the staff worked hard to make stay a pleasant and relaxing weekend.
- Steven (10/5): - The staff are excellent and can help in many ways

- Steven (10/5): - very nice hotel, clean, safe with decent parking available on site. Kitchen is good. Staff very nice.
- Steven (10/5): - Nice clean safe and things work
- Verified traveler (10/5): - There are 3 things I need when I book a hotel on an international trip. Good Wifi, cold AC and hot water. This hot
- Gitte Niemann (10/5): Good hotel in Moshi - Very nice hotel. Good restaurant. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff so friendly and helpful. First time traveling alone ( 64 year old female) .loved staying here. Convenient for walking around town. Nice pool to cool off in and even a view of Kilimanjaro. Food was just ok.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for a short stay - Stayed here before and after climbing Kilimanjaro, first couple of nights we stayed in a room with an incredibly uncomfortable bed and pillow however, after Kilimanjaro the new room had very comfortable beds. Food was good but you have to wait quite a while for it. Breakfast was ok, Spanish eggs were very good. On the whole staff were friendly.
