- Elmar (7/5): - Incredible location which turned out to be iconic due to a recent aliens show. Beautiful unobstructed view on Fuji, very pleasant restaurant nearby, possible to walk to Aokigahara forest. Confusing restaurant schedule — out of the 4 attempts to have breakfast/dinner at the hotel place, we only managed to do it once. You basically have a 1 hour window to have dinner at the hotel and need to make breakfast arrangements in advance. Unfortunately, staff weren’t very helpful or open to find a solution.

Early morning when the sky is clear you can see the mountail mirrored in Lake Shoji. The room is nice and comfortable and there s a small seating area in the front with a nice view on the lake and Mnt Fuji. Go outside the hotel and turn right for a small but "homey"restaurant with nice food. Make a reservation first because its a small restaurant. nothing

The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, contemplating the beauty of nature, and fully experiencing Japanese culture. Without a doubt, a classic yet wonderful place.

- jadranka (7/5): Superb location to see Fuji - Location and views from room or hotel grounds are fantastic. In spite of the hotel looking very run down it has certain appeal and I guess I would stay there again. To reach reception you have to climb appx 10 steps and if your room is on 3rd floor you have again to take some steps down to get to elevator. If you are carrying a suitcase it is not a great option. There was no one on reception offering help which we found strange. However if you are lucky and Fuji is not in clouds you would be presented with spectacular views.

- Rae (9/5): Mt Fuji Views - I chose the hotel for the balcony views to Mt Fuji. It was perfect with 4th floor gave uninterrupted views to the lake and the mountain from my balcony. I coukd lie in bed and view the mountain and the bathroom even had a window which could be opened to see the mountain from the bath. My room was immaculately clean. The onsen experience was wonderful with a lovely garden view whilst seated in a bath made from 1000+ year old Japanese cypress. The staff were all friendly and helpful. One small thing I would like to suggest is on arrival they ask if a dinner and breakfast time would like to be booked in. I did not realise I had to book breakfast and so missed out. Although breakfast ended at 9am and began at 7.30am when I arrived I was told they could not accommodate me for a later time. I was disappointed but accept that it was my mistake.

- Alexandra (8/5): Toller Aufenthalt - Die Lage am Shoji See war unbeschreiblich! Jeden Tag mit dieser Aussicht aufzuwachen war einfach magisch. Zimmer sehr geräumig und das Essen im Hotel was man vorbestellen musste sehr lecker Die Zimmer waren älter was man leider gerochen hat. Und paar kleine Flecken auf der Bettwäsche. Aber nicht extrem schlimm. Sonst sehr sauber.

- Georgia (10/5): A real gem - We loved this hotel so much. The staff were so lovely and some spoke good English. The views of Fuji are amazing and it isn’t too touristy. It’s remote which we liked but there is a convenience store 3 minute drive away. We ate in the restaurant and had the steak. This was the best meal we’ve had our whole trip. The beds were comfortable and the room was big.

- Karen (9/5): Large & comfortable room - The size of the room was amazing. It was clean & comfortable with an amazing view if My Fuji wasn't hiding behind clouds. The layout of the room. The toilet looked like a cupboard & it was on the other side of the room from the basin to wash your hands. This wasn't a big issue though.

- Asuka (10/5): ホットスポットでした！ - 目の前が精進湖で、富士山越しに朝日がのぼってくるところを見たい！と思ったら、ホテルから徒歩でスタスタ歩いたらすぐ見られる！というロケーションが最高でした！ お風呂が24時間と書いてあったのを期待していたが、実際は深夜帯は入れないように変わっていた事や、脱衣所の掃除？があまりされていないのか、髪の毛だらけだったのは気持ち悪く感じました。 ただ、お部屋や共有のスペースは綺麗にされている印象でした。

- CHIA-YI (10/5): 因為hot spot來朝聖，沒想到這間可愛的小旅館充滿著溫馨，員工們都很親切也可以溝通！重點是房間乾淨舒服，風景一流！！！下次還想再來❤️ - 風景超級好 富士山一覽無遺 而且人不多可以很舒服的觀賞 我沒有不滿意的部分
- YINGYU (10/5): - 房間就可以看到富士山👍 泡完湯，旁邊還有免費按摩椅可以坐，全身疲憊瞬間消失 往湖邊走還可以拍到逆富士，真的太美了
