- Klaudia (10/5): Fantastic! - Me and my family we had a great night in this lovely place. The room was large and comfortable with everything what you need. I had even delicious rose vine 😋🍷 which is I can recommend. For a dinner you can go to the restaurant 5 min from Inn. Breakfast was delicious in the morning provided by owners. Lovely people are running that place and they are so friendly and taking care about the guests all the time. I had to go back home and I couldn't stay there for longer 😉
- Paul (9/5): Lovely spot with a proper Welsh welcome. - Lots of food choice for my vegetarian son.
Owners were really friendly and welcoming.
Excellent steak pie for my evening meal.
Great location for travelling to watch the British Rally.
- Savnish (10/5): Small little area near Elan Village. Look at the night sky from their parking!! - The hosts were really excellent. And the personal touch they provided with dinner and the breakfast was also great. We would definitely want to visit again. Maybe more choices in the dinner and breakfast could be good.

- Daniel (9/5): Short, comfortable stay, well worth the price. - The breakfast was really good, it was tasty, and a good size. The room was comfortable, and sized well. Only improvement was that I would have liked a desk to be available in the room - I may be an outlier in that respect though. It was otherwise great, especially for the price.
- Sally (8/5): A lovely little guesthouse in a nice area with super friendly hosts. - It was such a great location for the Royal Welsh; we felt lucky to grab some rooms. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. It was a delight! Can’t really think of anything specific … they had everything we needed.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (8/5): First class. - Breakfast and location excellent. All fine.
- Cheryl (8/5): Beautiful location, the owners are 10/10 . Great breakfast. - The room was very nice, the views were fantastic. Excellent friendly staff/owners. Extremely helpful and were made to feel very welcome The bed was very firm, which I’m not used to , so I didn’t sleep well. I did not complain because I think this is just a personal issue for me.
- Susan (10/5): Highly Recommend - Easy to find on the A44, lovely location, we were both female motorcycle riders, plenty of parking facilities.
The hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful with absolutely everything.
The room had a stunning view and was lovely and peaceful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the quilt was gorgeous
and fluffy, tea and coffee facilities with fresh milk in the room, not the tiny little cartons, very much appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful and plenty of it too, cereals, fruit, and the full Welsh breakfast was superb 10/10
Only stayed one night, but when we ride over to Wales again, will be booking again. N/A

- Catherine (8/5): Night away before antiques fair. - The owners were very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. The food was nice and it was lovely to wake up and hear the birdsong and lambs. The photo needs to reflect as it is now as it was nothing like the photo advertised, which meant we drove past it! Otherwise nothing.
- Sehila (8/5): Warm, friendly welcome. Hosts available at all times. - Comfortable, beautiful location, ample parking. Nothing
- Nigel (10/5): Exceptional - Great stay lovely breakfast and we had evening meal which was lovely
- Eaglestone (6/5): Excellent hosts very near where we wanted to visit - Very friendly welcome excellent breakfast and more to the point, they went out of their way to cater for my partner who is Lactose Intolerant.
Wonderful thank you. This question is unfair to the lovely owners of the middle of winter, and it needs a spruce up but talking to them, this will happen next year
It was a bit cold in the bathroom but the room was heated, pity the water took so long to come through hot, I am sure this will be fixed in the new proposed development.
Wishing them all the best
- Joanna (8/5): Very good -

- Simon (8/5): Very good -
- Jacqueline (10/5): A relaxed overnight stay - The most welcoming of hosts running a lovely B&B in a beautiful location.
- Elaine (4/5): Misinformed at booking stage - Hard to say as not what was booked We were very disappointed that the Country inn has actually been closed for some time. The information when booking is very misleading as it does not specifically say on the booking, com website that the pub is closed - when the name on google is listed as Llewcoch BB formerly The Red Lion Country Inn, very surprised that Booking.com has not vetted their listings. This meant on the last day of our holiday we were confined to dining in the small breakfast room at the back of the property and we retired to our room at 8pm as there was nowhere else to go. Room was fine but we wont be going back.
- Wynne (2/5): Cold and damp - The photos and recent reviews meant we where looking forward to our stay here. Upon arrival we where told the heating was off but there was a small heater in the wardrobe. Room looked clean and tidy but was freezing cold. The small heater wasn't enough to heat the room. It was so cold the bed felt damp. The shower water only became tepid, despute running it for ages. We paid for 2 nights but left after 1! Terrible experience!
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Very enjoyable, great welcome - Good and cosy Nothing, all good

- Michelle (8/5): Very good -

- Debbi (7/5): Great little place for one-nighter - Location in relation to final destination - easy to find - welcoming and loved the little milk churn in our room! Bed uncomfortable unfortunately; not much parking

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Good company, very friendly. Great food and beautiful surroundings.
- Arun (8/5): Beautiful people and a picturesque location. - The food was excellent (Friday dinner). A lovely warm and cozy bar as well. The hosts were very warm.
- Faye (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (10/5): Very pleasant. - Food good, staff very friendly and helpful, guests good company also. You can always find faults with old listed buildings, but it was clean and comfortable.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Great just what you need to start the day
- Pam (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (1/5): Not a good experience - Good welcome and parking next to pub was helpful The food was overcooked (chicken burnt and chips were dreadful). The room was a refurnished cattle shed and absolutely freezing. Poor lighting, very basic facilities, and we had to request an electric fire. Run and staffed by a married couple who were extremely friendly but clearly overstretched in running the establishment. They mentioned they were going to cut back even further by no longer providing catering. Felt sorry for them as they work so very hard, but cutting back to zero staff was very clear to see.
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely stunning little old inn b and b, beautiful location with wildlife around the area and nice proximity to walks and towns, room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Staff were very very helpful and friendly and the food is absolutely amazing. Would 100% recommend. Nothing. Perfect stay
- Carole (8/5): I would stay there again - The room was lovely, clean and comfortable Nothing really
- Annette (10/5): Charming old B&B - The location is excellent. Owners very friendly. Although I didn't have an evening meal, it sounded (and smelled) excellent. Mountain view - peaceful garden.
- Lynne (9/5): Good stay at Red Lion - Owners were extremely friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent, with good choice. Attractive area. Good parking. Nothing was wrong. We had no complaints.
- Howard (10/5): 2 night stay - Odette and Dave were the perfect hosts, giving us such a lovely greeting and making our stay really enjoyable as well as serving exceptionally good food. Their hospitality was second to none and we would recommend their Inn for anyone looking for a break in a lovely quite location.
- Cefyn (8/5): Very good - Very quiet ɓut very friendly the food was all home cooked by David and was special. Odette went out of her way to see that everything was nice about our stay The area Could be to quiet for some people

- Gordon (10/5): Relaxed, well cared for and idyllic surroundings. - The booking was made as a spur of the moment outing and everything was Excellent with a capital E ! Far exceeded my expectation when I booked. Warm and friendly welcome, in a beautiful and peaceful location. Our room had a massive bath and a shower and plenty of space for two. Evening meal was good, steak cooked to my liking, and the quality of the cellarwork is reflected in the quality of the beer served.
Breakfast was served in a seperate dining room and was enough that I did not need to eat again until the evening - cereal, full breakfast, toast, Juice, Coffee and yogurt.
The price I paid was less than I expected, far less. This is outstanding quality at a very affordable price. What could have been better ?
It rained whilst we were there but we cannot hold the proprietor responsible for Welsh weather. I cannot think of a single thing of which we could complain and there was much we could praise.
If I am asked if I would recommend them I would say "Yes - Go, they will take very good care of you"
- John (10/5): Superb! - The owners have us a very warm welcome and looked after us well. Our evening meal was excellent, especially the fresh vegetables and the home. madre creme brulee. We will definitely be back - very highly recommended Nothing except the weather?
- Steve (9/5): Superb - Very helpful owners. Reserved parking. Thank you.
- Richard (9/5): A Traditional inn providing excellent facilities with helpful and friendly landlords -
- Fullwood (10/5): Exactly what we wanted and needed for a chilled weekend away! Staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us! - The property was well kept, tidy and very welcoming! I love an old building with beams and creaky floors, and this has just that with lovely modern touches! Nothing
- Arthur (9/5): Superb - Really friendly hosts, good breakfast, very convenient location Room a tad in the small side but fine for a single overnight stay
- John (9/5): Lovely couple and a great place to stay at - Friendly hosts and nice food
