Guest Reviews
- Culture21106236396 (8/5): Nice - Staff are friendly and helpful, room we stayed clean.all hot waters working okay.. except for one thing the internet connection is weak and loading hope they can work it out thank you 😘
- Rosaline (8/5): - Air conditioning needs service and internet not always reliable.
- JEmmanuelLasPinas (8/5): Good for a couple of nights - Go Hotels Ermita is an older property.
Some of the paint is peeling in a few places. The towels are thin and threadbare.
But the rooms have remained clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff are pleasant and helpful. WiFi works.
It’s in a good location that’s really accessible.
The walls are thin and there are other guests who don’t care about talking very loudly even past midnight. But over-all, I had a good stay.
- kareneloisaa (6/5): Needs improvement - Go Hotels is one of my go-to places whenever I travel anywhere. Generally, we had a good stay in its Ermita branch, except for the following:
1. We had to request towels because they provided none upon our entry to the room;
2. Light was busted on the toilet;
3. AC seemed not working fine; and
4. There's a leak near the window area.
We did not bother to escalate the concern because we just had an overnight stay but I hope it will be addressed. The room no. is 721, btw.
Thank you.
- Stay23860753226 (8/5): Great! - Room is clean. Beds are super comfy. Water dispensers are available on everyy floor.
It's nice that they have a deli where you could order affordable meals. They also sell some snacks and basic toiletries in the lobby.
My daughter and I enjoyed playing checkers too.
It was a nice stay.
- Rechie (8/5): - Convenient
- JANNETH PETER (10/5): - Good
- tonyaH4264EX (6/5): Quite Okay with some minor comments - So Far, cleanliness is fine from reception to hall directly to my room, but in the elevator there was a foul smell maybe due to the carpet used inside elevator, better not to use carpet since most of the users from outside directly step on the floor which was off course coming from outside. The reception staff are professional the way the treat us including the guard.
Second thing, since it is a hotel, please provide us complementary water, or atleast provide us water heater for coffee as there was a cup provided but NO used since we can't make coffee. 3rd thing, please provide us free sleepers, for toilet and bath as well as in room use, motels are doing this things and hotels must do more than them.
as an overall, it is still recommended and hopefully all my concerns are responded as i am a frequent traveller and might book on Go hotels next time.
- OnAir68011357697 (8/5): COMFY AND AFFORDABLE - If you want an affodable but Comfy Stay with easy access to the City, then Go Hotel Ermita is one of the best choice. What I don't like about here was the traffic cause by the road repairs in front of the hotel. But other than that, it's the best choice for me. Starting from now on, this hotel is my first choice to stay during vacation or bussiness trips.
- Paul (6/5): - Convenient to where appointment is located. TV sound did not go above 25. Very difficult to hear.
Smell of mold and mildew upon walking into lobby.
Roaches seen in room. Black mold in shower not cleaned off. Would be a fantastic property if just for a items were taken care of.
- 444wilma (8/5): Check your air-conditioning - The Air-conditioning is leaking, good that we noticed it some of our stuff get wet, the blanket cover border soaked too, the staff transfer us immediately to another room.
Anyway it's all good. We enjoyed the night at red light district 😆
Thank you.
- Vacation63710449941 (6/5): Convenient, parking, reasonably priced, excellent staff - Location was ideal for places we wanted to go to. Parking was available but tight space. Rooms were okay, looked clean. Towels were dated and bathrooms had molds on them. Front desk and check in was done expeditiously and very welcoming staff.
- Dreamer29858431665 (4/5): Stayed for 6 days nakaproblema lang sa booking pero walang clear na explanation - Okay naman kasi malapit siya embassy, robinsons, kaso lang lang wala silang hot water, tapos may lamok, tapos yong iba nasa front desk hindi nice, pag naka problema sa booking wala silang exact na sagot, hindi man lang explain or kahit konting help man lang kung saan pwd kontakin uong 3rd party sinasabi nila.
- Brian (10/5): - Nice
- jiggzdee (4/5): Mosquito and Bugs - Dirty Rooms, mosquito and bugs inside of the rooms. Air-conditioned leaking in the middle of the night. We transfered room at midnight due to this problem, from queen bed to twin beds as they advised us to change the rooms in the morning, unfortunately they didn't reach-out for matter.
Molds inside of the bathroom and shower room. Old Bath Towels.
- Sunshine00949645175 (6/5): The place is accessible to all amenities. Thank you - The place itself is nice, and the bed is very comfortable. However, there was no hot shower, which is a bit inconvenient. additionally, the noise from other guests, including snoring, was quite audible, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
- Mark Anthony (10/5): - Convenient area
- Jesus (6/5): - Hot shower doesn’t work
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel is old and dirty, the rooms smelled bad, mold in the shower all over. Hot water didnt work most of time time, the walls were dirty and damanged. I would not stay here again.
- Explore52161148287 (6/5): The hotel is old. - The room was kind of old already. The sheet had a hole. The sink wasnt cleaned throughly. Hope the key card has a sleeve with room number so guests. There was someone forced to open my door at night. Not sure if the person got the room number incorrectly. But it freaked me out.
- mrhY4026MM (6/5): You don’t get the exact room that you paid for & booked online - I recently booked fully paid the Go 24/7 flexi promo on their gohotels.ph website for Ermita,Manila Oct22-23 for a Queen room got an email confirmation from them on my exact ETA. But when I get there to check-in they said Queen room is not available only twin. I took it and did not complain. But that is a very very deceiving website same price but you’re not getting what you booked for.
- ken2yk (6/5): Not the best, but a good choice for a budget hotel - Booked for 2 nights. The bed was quite comfortable, the room’s space was just enough. However, the pullout tray table had some dried up food waste, the toilet light and exhaust fan wasn’t working, and the ac remote was in Chinese character..
- Mark (10/5): 40 dollar a night special - Not bad at all for just 40 dollars a night. If you can get a room on the 12th or higher floor, you won't notice any street traffic noise. Also Robinsons shopping mall is close by with a 24/7 Dennys restaurant. Yu mmy
- Alyssa marie (4/5): - Good
- Alan (10/5): - clean and neat
- Global68062260509 (8/5): Affordable and comfortable - To be honest maganda naman sya safe at comfortable. May iilan lanv akong napansin, idk baka dahil promo ako kaya limited lang yung mga amenities. Slippers wala sila non malamig kasi ang sahig kaya need ko sana non pero di na ako nagtanong and also may mantsa yung sa bed pero hindi naman sya ganun ka kita dun sa room na napuntahan ko medyo may kalumaan na pero malinis naman pag pasok ko all in all 8/10 sya hindi man sya gaya ng ibang hotels pero if hanap mo ay mura at comfortable dito ang masusuggest ko very sulit naman sa binayad ko kaya babalik ako ulit dito.
- hansiephillip (8/5): Comfort bed and location! - Location are great. Easy access to robinson mall, live band at cowboy grills, money changer…etc all by walking. Rooms are better compared to red planet.
All staffs are friendly and their security are good for a decent hotel. Will be coming back again to stsy.
- maybeleneb2024 (8/5): 1 night reservation - Super bilis lng mag check in. Siguro dahil wala kaming kasabay that time. Medyo nainis lng ako kasi ung nasa front desk hindi sya accomodating. Kelangan mo pa mag initiate mag tanong or lumapit sa kanya kapag mag checheck in kasi d ka nya tatawagin. Tapos yung awra nya medyo grumpy at iritable ung tone nya kapag nagsalita. With regards sa room I'm satisfied nman. Malakas ung aircon at may heater ung water sa cr. May pa towel din sila. Tapos may water dispenser malapit sa elevator which is very nice.
- thisBme (4/5): Paper thin walls suck!! - Paper thin walls, literally could hear my neighbors talking, laughing and yes, having sex. I had to turn my TV up and so they followed suit, we both had TV’s up to camouflage our noise. These were the worst paper thin walls in a hotel I ever experienced.
- Tourist38936551903 (2/5): Gohotels not assisting customers - I booked a stay with gohotels and klook. Due to emergency I need to reschedule my trip to the following week. I contacted klook but refused to help me. I contacted gohotels straight but did not help ke at all. I paid them in full but not able to stay.
- Janet (10/5): - Friendly staff. Very accommodating.
- Safari04843393406 (2/5): WORST HOTEL EVER - WE'RE A TRAVELLERS, AND WHENEVER WE GO MANILA, WE ALWAYS STAYS THERE FOR A WEEK OR SO, AND WE ALWAYS CHOOSE TO STAY HOTELS NEAR ROBINSONS MANILA AND WE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUE WITH OTHER HOTELS. BUT THIS TIME THAT WE BOOKED TO GO HOTELS ERMITA, IT WAS THE WORST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER BEEN, UPON CHECKING IN, THE STAF WILL WELCOME YOU WITH A VERY GRUMPY FACE, NOBODY EVEN TRIED TO GREET YOU, THE SERVICE IS VERY SLOW AND BAD, WE HAD 4 LUGGAGES AND WE NEEDED ASSISTANCE TO BRING THEM UP, BUT IT TOOK US 30 MINS TO WAIT UNTIL WE DECIDED TO BRING IT UP BY OURSELVES, THE WORST PART IS, WHEN WE ENTERED OUR ROOM, WE HAD TO USE THE COMFORT ROOM AND THE EXHAUST FAN IS NOT WORKING, SO WE HAD TO PEN THE WINDOW, AND CALLED THE RECEPTION ABOUT IT, AND THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE WITH A VERY SARCASTIC TONE WITH "YES HELLO?" SO I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE EXHAUSE FAN AND THE ANSWER I GOT WAS "YES MAM WE ARE AWARE THAT THE EXHAUSE FAN IS NOT WORKING, THE ORDER IS PENDING FROM PURCHASING SIDE" WE REQUEST TO BE MOVED TO THE OTHER ROOM, BUT UNTIL THE DAY WE CHECKED OUT WE NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. THE WORST HOTELL EVER
- Road49123025387 (4/5): Worst hotel experience - We travel a lot and this is the worst hotel experience ever! We will never return here although we have been checking in here quite a few times already since the location is good and the hotel is clean. Upon check in, we advised that we do not know our checkout date yet since we were processing our visas and we are long stayers probably about a week (we are paying the hotel stay daily), so they can note it down to somehow block the room for us or at least call us the day before to confirm with us if we will stay the next day considering we advised that we are long stayers.. but on our 3rd day at 11am, we got a call from the front office clerk that we need to check out because they will be fully booked on that day. So imagine our horror to hear that when we just woke up, haven’t even taken a bath and nowhere to go near the area because almost hotels that time were already fully booked! They just told us that we really need to vacate the room within an hour and there will be a charge for late check outs. How unprofessional these front office clerks are. Truth be told- they never really noted that we are long stayers and not sure of our check out date yet because of they did, they could’ve called us the night before if we really cannot extend anymore to inform us so we can find other nearby hotels to transfer to the following day. We have been traveling but never in our entire experience can beat this unprofessionalism.
- George (10/5): - It so easy access to the heart of the city center. Staff are so friendly.
- Philippe (6/5): - I stayed at the Go Hotels Ermita before, but I found that the room conditions have gone down too much even for the lower price. Additionally, I only had one working electrical outlet in my room, cold water in the shower, plus my room was just beside the elevator 1115 so very noisy all the time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Short visit - The hotel was in a location for what we needed. The room were clean and comfortable. Wish there would have been a small fridge or coffee maker in room,
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Our reservation was made through Hotels.Com, and we reserved 7 rooms in one reservation. However, when we arrived at the hotel, finding our reservation at the front desk took so long. Hotels.com reservation system and this hotel's reservation system are not well connected. It should be improved. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast at all. If so they should not be mentioned on the website.
- jmg659 (8/5): Rebooking as requested by my father - The booking was for my father, he`s in his senior years with medical considerations and went to see his ail family member. We made certain request about his room prior booking in their website. We did a pay at the hotel, and my father got discount for his senior card which is quite a saving. My father was pleased and I have not heard anything bad from him for his entire stay and wanted we to book the same hotel again this week. He might have liked it. We are grateful for giving our dear father a good hotel experience while he is emotionally battling.
- Excursion42059895631 (10/5): It’s fine and friendly staff very easy to talk and accommodated staff thanks a lot - The hot shower not so hot and the drainage of shower area is clogging the toilet area the floor not so clean and don’t have menu for food but over all stay was very good thanks the staff was good attitude and very friendly also even the security was very good also i will comeback again thanks
- lucsky (6/5): A good enough transit option in dirty Manila - This is a modern budget hotel. No surprise there, everything works but no fridge or tea/coffee facilities.
The split of bathroom and toilets is weird to me but some may like it.
It’s clean and safe, the staff was helpful and it’s trying to be eco friendly.
Sadly there is no water views available although the hotel has 14 floors because of the set up of the building.
- Robert (10/5): - Nice place. Close to St. Luke’s and US Embassy.
- Alvin (6/5): - It was unique coz free stuffs you need to pay… like toothbrush, toothpaste and hotel slippers there’s a charge. Not like the other go hotel. It was cleaner and have free of stuffs as mentioned above except no hotel slippers.
- Aileen (10/5): - Accessible & Clean
- Pau (8/5): Spontaneous Stay - We have an appointment at US Embassy, cellphones and other gadgets even an Apple watch and remote car keys are not allowed. Valuables were secured because they have a safety box/vault (it has an instruction on how to create your own code, OTP every use) This place is cozy and eco friendly (they give paper cups and they have water dispenser each level. It's just a spontaneous overnight stay at Go Hotels. 10 mins. booking on this app, and we're good. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
- Chelsey (10/5): - Everything went smoothly with my stay. I missed reading the the property was a quarantine facility. They required a vaccination card. (I routinely carry mine when I travel.) Comfortable bed decent sized room with a safe.
- Verified traveler (6/5): SMELL OF A VENT PIPE (Rat) - Room 1421 exhaust fan or vent does not operate and it is soooo dirty. There is no maintenance check on this one for sure. The smell of the room stinks like a rotten rat or a sewage canal from a pipe. Once you open the door, boom, vwalah!
You may get used to it once you are immune to the smell but to those who are allergic, you will suffer. They let us stay in this room because they said there are no rooms available but when we arrived, there are many rooms in the hallway where left open and vacant.
- joseph (4/5): - This is hotel hell. The manager was extremely rude. Rooms have paper thin walls or adjoining doors so you can hear everything in the next room. Absolutely terrible.
- Stephen (2/5): - This was a quarantine hotel
- Francis (2/5): - Quarantine only facility, requesting a full refund as this was never mentioned prior to arrival at this facility.
- Robert (2/5): - I was not allowed to check in. Because the hotel is being used only for quarantine, and we are not designated for Covid quarantine.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - With the kind of limited amenities, the hotel should cost only a thousand or so.
Room service assistance is however good.
Another thing strange is that they did not allow us to go out to buy some stuff after we received our negative pcr test results. Other hotels I went to allowed us to already go out and stay one more day but out of our room quarantine.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect - Stay was nice but maybe some help with me, whom don’t know about WiFi password but overall I’m very satisfied with the employees. Thank you
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Found a little cockrouch on the floor
- Andrew (6/5): - No hot water in shower despite the sink hot water working. Evening or night. I let the desk guy know and he didn't seem to concerned
- Verified traveler (8/5): - great location, rooms are clean, courteous and helpful staff
- ALEX (6/5): - Building conditions are no comparison with Hop Inn Makati. No room service for two days and the bathroom is very small
- Tony (2/5): - I will never recommend friends to stay der
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The rooms are way too small. Not cleaned on a daily basis. No electrical outlets in bathroom. No internet. I dont care what they say, they have no internet that is usable. Works for texting and thats about all it will do. Cannot get email, cannot get to financial institution, cannot get to youtube, etc etc. left the necx morning. Could not cancel my stay because Expedia was unreachable.
- thor (6/5): - They need to imrpove delivery of housekeeping services. Staff are not quite accomodating. The facility is ok.
- Mr. (6/5): - Two small cocroaches in the toilet greeted me, which was disgusting.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Small room never came to clean never changed towels food was cold and changed 300 pasos per person workers were friendly
- Verified traveler (4/5): Only good for overnight stay. - toilet bowl was choked and was never repaired as promised.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They put me in a room next to construction work on other building...they were not full..sooo.. there were other rooms available on the other side of the buiding..happened lste at night..they must have known..too late to chsnge room..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Kudos to the whole Customer Care Team! All were efficient and was willing to assist :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and elegant
- Verified traveler (10/5): - No food service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Easy access to almost everything
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They keep the cleanliness and a very accommodating staff.
- Mary Judith (4/5): I am not going there again - The room was dirty as well as the shower area. Customer service was poor. People talking in other rooms kept me awake until 2am!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room is clean and the staff are friendly and easy to talk to. My only concern is that the room is not sound proof-noise from the outside can be heard.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - all ok no problem
- Singer (10/5): - Very hospitable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice staff
Clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): Manila - It was great for the value. Everyone was very nice.
- William (10/5): - Great place to stay and very, very friendly.
- JO (8/5): - Very clean but doors slam shut which disturbs sleeping.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Xxxxxxxxxx
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent hotel for the price. Although, no extras to be sure, I can live with that. Most important is the WiFi is very good.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We are happy with the room and location. This hotel offers more than the value of our money. For sure we will come back and stay on this hotel again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked it's location, shopping within walking distance, rooms were clean, and staff was really helpful and friendly.
- James (10/5): Great place to stsy - Was thereb5 days. Its good location.only problem was shower leaked on floor out side of shower and toilet leaked when I set on it.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room is generaly
- Robert (6/5): Ok hotel, but, overpriced. - This gohotel is the same as all the others. Ok for 1 or 2 nights. Sevice ok. Area a little wild, but, safe. This gohotel is overpriced.
- andy (8/5): - good hotel, good for business traveler.
- Linda (4/5): - No soap in the toilet room, how are you going to wash your hands? No cups provided to use when brushing your teeth. No sheets, just comforter.
- Joe (8/5): Unfriendly Front Desk - The hotel was clean and most of the staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of one lady at the front desk. I hesitate to say her name because I do not want her to lose her job. She could be a little bit more friendlier and a smile wouldn't hurt either. I'd rather ask management to remind their employees especially the front counter to show their customers a little smile that they are happy to see us even if they are not. It's part of the job. I'm sure it's in the script. A little smile to start a greeting really does go a long way. There were 4 of us who came in from after a long hard travel day and this lady at the front was very unfriendly. She was not rude or anything but no smile, barely looked me in the eyes when she was speaking and spoke the bare minimum like she was annoyed we had arrived. The rest of the staff though were very pleasant. I'm not asking for a grand reception. Just a little bit of customer service with a smile preferably. That's all. Other than that, the rooms were a great value for the price. A/C was cold, hot shower, comfortable clean bed and wi-fi in the room. Can't beat all that for the price!
- Michael (4/5): A clean basic budget hotel - The hotel is clean and quite new but the rooms are small and the windows small. The walls and ceilings are thin so I've could hear taking and the television noise in neighbouring rooms.
This woke me up at 6:45 every morning.
Staff are pleasant but not friendly. The breakfast ( if you can call it that) was atrocious! I got there at 9:30 and everything was half eaten and the food was cold. The breakfast area is tiny and the food quantity lacking. The "waiter" just stood there doing nothing. The plastic tables and chairs were cheap. I walked out and went to McDonald's. The only good thing was the decent quality split system air conditioning system. In conclusion it's nothing flash. Just another "Ibis" type budget no frills place to stay.
- MOUSA (8/5): New and clean - New and clean and cheap inlay small bath room
- Francis (8/5): Great Location!!! Thanks - Great Location!!
- Stephen (10/5): - Nice rooms, good location and very affordable
- Albert Lo (8/5): Spacious room - New hotel, clean spacious room.....checked in was abit slower,we were asked to email the booking detail, and again the next day....requested for a hair dryer but there's a charges for that..overall was ok
- Siti Hajar Ashikin (8/5): One night stay - I only stayed here for one day. Just transit to catch the next flight the next day. Check in n out process was superb fast. The room was clean and ok.
- Louela Era (6/5): Great location... - The room is ok, but you can easily hear your neighbor when they talk or when their TV is on. People are noisy in the middle of the night at the hallway. Wheb you ask to clean the room, they haven’t even swept my floor, but they changed everything.
- Ron (8/5): Very nice. - Clean and friendly hotel staff. Close to Robinsons ermita so it was easy to go shopping or buy impt stuff. Lots of resto around the area as well so no problem looking for places to eat. No flood even wotg the heavy rains.
- refael (10/5): i enjoyed - good hotel good service central area
- Pat (8/5): Good hotel but nothing special - Good stay with clean rooms though rooms need soundproofing as could hear the room next to me.
- yang (2/5): Worst hotel I’ve tried - We go to the hotel at 5pm expecting to be checked in right away because we are already pass the check in time, but we are surprised that the front desk tells that we don’t have a reservation and that there is no room available for us. I keep on telling them that we are booked and already paid through Expedia, they let us wait for 2 hours in the lobby, looking for a room they can let us stay. They keep on telling us that they are fully booked but why do we care if we are fully booked already when we are paid already week before.
- mark (10/5): Good clean hotel - Very clean crisp sheets. Western standard budget hotel hot water for shower 2 min walk to Robinson's mall. Aircon cold and whisper quite.
- fredrick (6/5): 2pm check in - my check in date 4/27/18 check out 4/30/18 one of two elevators was not operating .i ask front desk a glass to brush my teeth she said the don't provide glasses . 2 p.m.check in a little late for me .no fire escape sign posted
- Francis (10/5): Go hotel - Clean, comfortable, cheap
