• Loïc (9/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix et bien placé - Très bon emplacement juste à côté du temple Wat Arun. Possibilité de prendre le transport bateau jusque à côté pour traverser la ville. Sinon un grab pour se déplacer (prix correct) car la ville est très grande. Nous avions une chambre pour trois, très simple, mais climatisée et avec des lits confortables. Petite salle de bain mais avec douche fermée, appréciable pour éviter de mettre de l’eau partout. Il y a une petite cuisine commune avec eau et crackers gratuits à disposition. Le personnel est sympathique et arrangeant. Nous avons pu laisser nos sacs quelques heures le jour de notre départ avant de prendre le train. La chambre est un peu vieillotte mais bien équipée.

• Geraint (10/5): Perfect for sight seeing, lovely owners and very clean. - Absolutely loved our stay here, immaculately clean room and bathroom, very friendly owners and so helpful, organised us taxis when we needed them and very proactive with their communication. 2 minute walk to the Wat Arun and the ferry to go over to the Grand Palace, it’s extremely busy during the day on the street outside but very quiet at night, we had a room at the front and slept very well. Downstairs are snacks and coffee for guest to help themselves to, easy walk for something to eat or 7/11 supermarkets.
• SHUORAN (9/5): 位置绝佳、干净整洁、交通便利，值得推荐！ - 地理位置优越：民宿距离郑王庙步行仅需2分钟，无论去哪里都十分便利。地理位置绝佳！ 交通便利：在民宿住了7天，周围的交通方式十分便利。步行2分钟可以坐渡船、步行15分钟有公交车、步行20分钟有BTS。满足各种出行需求。 干净整洁：房间很干净，必需生活用品齐全（毛巾、浴巾、牙具等）。居住的7天每天都会打扫卫生、更换床单被罩。地面也一直能够保持整洁状态。 服务舒适：半自助服务，适度的服务保持了恰好的边界感、不会过分热情，需要的时候随时能够找到人。这样很好。 生活便捷：虽然地处景区附近，但是周边有很多居民生活区。所以小吃店、集市等非常便利，能够体验当地人生活。 晚上噪音有点大：民宿虽然不在大路上，但是门前的小路经常会有摩托车驶过，声音有一点点大。 稍微有一些蚊虫：最后离开那天可能因为窗户没关紧、飞进去一些小虫。全程关紧窗户能够避免这个问题。

Very authentic neighborhood ( not crammed with western tourists) convenient to ferry. Touristy during day but mostly Thais. Lack of food options nearby. Very crowded small street made taxi service difficult. Go to a wider location for pickup or allow extra time or use motorbike. Military school across street bugled revelie every morning at 530 every day. No one at front desk when I checked out at 945 am so lost my key deposit.

• Mélanie (8/5): - Adorable maison traditionnelle, chambre très très propre , gérants gentils, professionnels et très méticuleux dans leur gestion hôtelière .Salle de bain elle aussi très propre ! Emplacement très calme la nuit ! Le seul bémol sont les fenêtres qui sont en fait des volets occultants donc si vous voulez avoir la lumière du jour dans votre chambre, vous devez couper la Clim ce qui n’est pas vraiment pratique si vous avez besoin de passer la journée dans la chambre . Si vous êtes en mode visite intensive de Bangkok la journée cette histoire de fenêtre n’a plus d’importance :-)

L'emplacement change du centre ville bruyant, et pour un séjour court il permet d'être a proximité directe des trois attractions de la ville : Wat Arun, Wat Pho et Grand Palais. La chambre est faite tous les jours par le personnel avec de nouvelles serviettes ce qui est appréciable. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais pour les personnes qui cherchent à être a proximité des malls, c'est pas du tout le coin et c'est assez vite long pour atteindre l'autre bout de la ville

Es hat uns sehr bei der Planung unserer Unternehmungen unterstützt und nachdem wir bei der Abreise etwas im Zimmer vergessen hatten auch für eine schnelle Nachsendung gesorgt. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr geräumig und ruhig in einer Seitenstraße zum Wat Arun und nahezu direkt am Fluß. Eine optimale Ausgangsposition für Unternehmungen in der Stadt, da die Fahrt mit dem Boot die schnellste Verbindung ist. Etwas Luft nach oben gibt es allenfalls beim Frühstücksraum, der etwas einfach ausgestattet ist.

• Gabriele (10/5): UN ANGOLO DI PARADISO A BANGKOK - La struttura è una tipica casa thailandese dove, al pian terreno, vivono i proprietari che sono 2 ragazzi super gentili con una bimba, e al piano superiore affittano 4 stanze interamente di legno, molto caratteristiche! Esiste anche un’area comune al pian terreno con snacks, bevande, stoviglie e un grande tavolo. Utilissimo per noi che abbiamo una bimba per la colazione o la cena. Le cose fondamentali sono però la pulizia, ineccepibile, e la cortesia dei proprietari che ti assistono in tutto senza essere invadenti. Un’altra nota di merito è sicuramente il quartiere tipico thailandese abitato solo da locals e a 100m a piedi dal tempio Wat Arun, straordinario!! Insomma location top anche per muoversi con i caratteristici battelli sul fiume, a piedi o con grab.
• Domaboc (10/5): Amazing and Feel at Home accommodation. We want to stay longer. - Location is perfect to explore the real bangkok which is the Chao Phraya River. All bets attractions of bangkok are just a cheap ferry ride. OB Arun House feels exclusive and homy. Owner is very accomodatiing and even extended extramile effort to make sure our experience is immaculate. For night life goers, this is not recommended as the place requires taxi or tuktuk during the night. Though very accessible to Chinatown and Khao san road.
• Dirk (8/5): Nice - but with room for improvement - Given the glowing reviews, I decided to book six nights at OB Arun. The place is nice enough – but next time I’m in Bangkok, I’ll probably stay somewhere else. Overall, the owners seem a bit undecided whether they want to run a small hotel or a homestay. For a homestay, it feels too impersonal and lacks that warm, home-cooked breakfast I’ve enjoyed elsewhere. For a hotel, on the other hand, it’s a bit too personal – meaning: not much privacy. Example: I had booked a twin room just for myself. With no wardrobe, I’d spread my belongings across one bed. One day I came back, and everything had been tidied, rearranged, and obviously touched. Not okay. When I gently complained, the “solution” was that housekeeping stopped coming altogether. If you make new friends and bring guests to your room, you’ll be fined 2,000 Baht – charming policy, isn’t it? And if you plan to stay a while, be warned: the windows have mosquito screens but no glass. So it’s either light and fresh air (with tropical heat) or darkness and air conditioning. You can’t have both. Then there’s the water issue: one small bottle per person per day – rationed! Drinking water costs next to nothing in Thailand, yet they didn’t even offer to sell me extra bottles. And finally, the cherry on top: next door is a Thai Navy barracks. Wake-up call at 6 a.m. with trumpets, lights out at 9 p.m. Whether that’s a bug or a feature is up for debate ... and you don't have to follow their rythm if you manage to ignore the sounds.

• Verani (9/5): Très bonne expérience - L'emplacement et la qualité du logement sont au rendez vous. Ce n'est pas un reproche mais n'essayez pas de venir avant l'heure du check out car pour ma part (13h45) il n'y avait personne pour me recevoir Wat Arun, Wat Pho et le Palais Royale dans une secteur de 15min a pieds avec le ferry pour traverser le fleuve. Je recommande.

Host is very welcoming and often went out of the way to help and make us comfortable. Spacious and clean rooms and common area, and self service options. Please don't be mistaken by pictures, place is much better than shown in pics. Nearby shops and eateries shutting early in case you want to shop and eat more. General observation, Air conditioners in thailand are preset to default temperature which often is not comforting to all.
• Annamaria (10/5): La miglior scelta che potessimo fare - OB Arun house è un'abitazione tradizionale alle spalle del Wat Arun, in un quartiere tranquillo e abitato solo da locali. A pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono i moli per l'attraversamento del Chao Praya e con un centinaio di Bath ci si sposta in taxi (grab) verso i quartieri più turistici della città. I proprietari sono gentili e disceti, e mettono a disposizione una cucina con the, caffè e snacks gratuiti. La camera è accogliente, spaziosa e pulitissima. Quando siamo arrivati, il rubinetto del lavandino del nostro bagno perdeva, e il giorno dopo è stato sostituito. Lo stesso è successo con un pezzo del soffione della doccia. Insomma, super consigliato! Nulla da segnalare

• marco (10/5): Nice stay at OB Arun - The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Its location couldn’t be better – just a 2-minute walk from the stunning Arun Temple and the ferry, which makes it super easy to cross the river and reach all the main attractions. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with a detailed guide full of tips on local shops and restaurants, and even arranged a taxi to the airport for us. Highly recommended! Noise from the street when loud cars and motorbikes are passing as the windows are not soundproof (during the night the area is quite)

• Mieke (10/5): Comfortable and homely stay - Excellent stay at OB Arun House. It’s like staying with a family, but you have private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Immaculate rooms, cleaned daily. Didn’t see a single bug, which is rare for SE Asia. Crackers and coffee for breakfast to get you going. Owner Oak is super helpful and friendly and makes sure everything is taken care of. Right next to Wat Arun and the boat pier, easy to Grab to city centre. As Wat Arun closes at night, the street becomes very quiet. Would definitely stay again in the future. Shower could use a bit more pressure but that’s just a small thing.
• Fachiroh (8/5): value for money, great host, close to tourist attraction - I chose the facility due to location, just behind wat arun (2 mins walk) and riverboat to main attractions. The owner was great: easy to contact, communicative, resourceful, and VERY nice. Despite simple accommodation, they provide corner+ kitchen to use, having a chat with the owner and family. I stayed at the second floor, with wooden floor and walls, felt like visiting relative's house. When opening window I could hear birds chirping, rooster crowing, and buddhist monk chatting from afar, as well as enjoying rains from inside I would like to have a bit of room rearrangement; despite large windows, rooms felt claustrophobic, due to thick curtain and awkward positioning of furniture (difficult to open window). Also, having a bedside lamp is much better, than "head-bed lamp" .
• Qibo (10/5): Best Choice If You Would Like To Make Your Trip in Bangkok Home-Feeling - OB Arun House is a pure and splendid Thai style traditional home stay. If you would like to feel what the life styles of the old town Bangkok people are, here may be the best choice for you! Though it’s in traditional style but inside, they have all a standard modern hotel expected to be equipped!! The host family are all nice & helpful people with smile always. Furthermore I would like to say the suburbs and the house itself should not be only looked as a place to stay, but also it’s a sightseeing itself as a part of the old Bangkok, with the nearby Wat Arun and Grand Palace Areas!! Nothing.

• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - We made an excellent choice by staying at OB house. The hosts were very polite and maintained the property very clean and beautifully decorated. The property is so close to the Buddha temple which served our purpose. I will recommend my friends who visit Thailand and prefer a home stay.😊

• Yvonne (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel host went above and beyond to help us with everything from finding late night food to figuring out how to get to our next destination. I cannot recommend him enough. The room was extremely clean and quiet. It's a 4 minute walk to Wat Arun, and walking distance from the Grand Palace and the Flower Market. Rajadamnern muay thai stadium and Thon Buri train station were a 100-200 baht taxi ride. I would not hesitate to book this place again.

• Steve (8/5): Very good - The bathroom was recently renovated and very nice, attention to detail was obviously a point of concern for host. It was clean and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Host are very kind and accommodating. It's very close to the river ferry pier terminal, handy for getting around.
• Teresa (10/5): Exceptional - There is something magical about this place. 2min walk from beautiful temple Arun Wat. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. Most importantly the owners are very friendly. Our room was spacious, beds comfortable, pretty big AND VERY CLEAN bathroom. I spent almost 2 months in Thailand and that was the cosiest place on our way. There is a kitchen on ground floor that you can use. Tea,.coffee, cookies, instant soups, kettle, juice. Plates, mugs, everything that you need. I actually felt like I'm visiting relatives, not that I'm staying in hotel. Thanks for that !

Spacious and comfortable room, with large bed and great attention to detail. The owners were really welcoming and helpful. We loved our stay here - would highly recommend as a base to explore Bangkok!

Communication with our host was excellent, before and during, and although it was nothing fancy, it was good value. a 5 minute walk to the river ferries made it a great location to see the main sites along the river. Self serve coffee and tea was appreciated. It was clean with great AC. The neighborhood and front Street goes very quiet after 6 pm when Wat Arun closes.There's few restaurants in the immediate area (a 711 is only a short walk) but a 5 minute walk to the ferry and a 5 minute crossing (about 20 cents) and you'll find many options.
• H&m (9/5): A hidden gem - The owners are very nice and helpful. They made sure we are comfortable and helpful us with transportation to the airport. The place is only 5 minutes walk to Wat Arun. Nothing, everything is good.
• Ben (8/5): Pleasant hotel in a very cool area with amazing staff, perfect for a short stay. - The most amazing staff! Helpful at all times, even booked us a taxi to the airport at a reduced price. The room was nice and clean, little to complain about. There was some noise early in the morning from builders and surrounding properties (although ear plugs were provided to accommodate this). Windows were not glass so no natural light unless these are left open.

• David (8/5): Great value for money. - Very clean, staff very friendly, fridge and ac in room worked well as did the shower. Good sized room. A bit of noise but we always sleep with earplugs (some are provided too if you don’t have your own) so no problem at all sleeping. Found the bed a little hard but simply put spare duvet under the mattress protector which made it really comfy. Excellent value for money. Technically the ‘wrong side’ of the river but the 2 minute ferry crossing is just 2 mins walk from hotel so was no problem at all and very cheap. Hotel is almost next to away Arun. Felt safe here even at night.
• Gary (10/5): Traditional comfort in a calm neighbourhood with super hosts. - Ob Arun house was traditional-style comfort and in a quiet location perfect for Wat Arun temple and river transport. The only possible drawback for location is that ferries stop running by 7pm, but I was happy to rely on Grab taxi if needed after that, and the neighbourhood is charming. The hosts were incredibly helpful, including baggage storage and arranging transfers. I appreciated the tea and coffee and the downstairs dining space. All good.

• Ann (10/5): It’s a perfect CLEAN hotel!! A must stay - The family who own this hotel are super kind and responsive to messages. The hotel was super clean and very affordable. The location was perfect for checking the Grand Palace, Wat Arun and wat Pho. The river was within walking distance and the quick ferry across was only 5 bht . We are now all addicted the candies the family offered in the lovely 😊

• Kelly (10/5): A short 24 hr visit in Bangkok and the perfect place to stay for seeing some iconic sites. - The room was a comfortable size for 2 of us plus luggage. Air conditioning helped cool off the room for sleeping. The family who owns Arun House was very helpful giving us recommendations for dinner and to access the ferry, a 5 baht short ride across the river to see the reclining Buddha and Royal Palace. It’s also a couple minutes walk from Temple of the Dawn and street market. It is an hour drive from the airport. It’s not really a problem but be aware for planning.

• Lu (10/5): very nice - The location is perfect for traveler, It’s super close to Wat Arun and the pier to the Royal Palace! The facilities are also very good, the rooms are always so clean, there are also free drinks, biscuits and instant noodles in the common area, we really enjoyed them! The service is excellent as well, the householder is very nice and helpful! We love the stay here, will come back in the future! Maybe get the window open sometimes
