We were also able to see the ruins of the Abbey from our windows! In the evening our family sat in the beautiful gardens out back and read in the peaceful environment. The beds were comfortable, showers hot! The breakfast was delicious and the owners attentive to our every need. I didn't want to leave!! Beautiful countryside and B&B. Wouldn't change a thing!
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Cashel is a great town. The historic monuments are all around, and the town is very clean, and the town's folk are very proud of what they have.
The Lodge is so lovely we plan to stay again next year. The day entry to Cashel Castle is very expensive, and there are additional fees if you wish to see it all. Cormac's church is another entry fee.
If you're going to visit, spend all day to get the best value.
- Xuerong (10/5): Exceptional - It feels like living in a friend's home. Cozy, clean, good breakfast, excellent location. Highly recommend. We missed the check-in time and arrived late at 9:30 pm. The host opened the office and accommodated us. This was so appropriated.

- Maryann (10/5): Stunning view and Lovely stay! - This was one of my favorite places that we stayed throughout our 2 week trip. The location is great and you can walk to the lovely town. The view of the Rock of Cashel from the property is beautiful. There is also a lovely view of an old Monastary and a cow pasture. The rooms were very comfortable and private. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing that I’m disappointed about is that we only stayed one night !! We would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was just what we needed and yummy. I’m very picky about bed comfort - it was good but not to my high standards so don’t make this a determining factor.

- Kellie (10/5): Great location and great value! - Location (Rock of Cashel on hill above, Hore Abby a short walk down the lane and town minutes away) was fantastic. Right under the looming Rock of Cashel. Great! No problems at all
- Kellie (10/5): Great stay - fantastic location! - Friendly, helpful hosts, comfortable rooms, economical, but best thing was the location. Literally right under the Rock of Cashel and next to Hore Abby, both places we wanted to visit. And close to town for restaurants, etc. Can't think of anything.
- Jeff (10/5): A perfect place to stay. - Calming after a long trip. Room was very comfortable, and the no breakfast was a highlight. So close to the main attractions, yet very quiet. Hosts Tom and Brid spared no effort in making us feel at home. Would have stayed for days had our itinerary allowed.
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denis (8/5): Very good -
- Meg (10/5): Surprised by the proximity to a former monastery that was fun to explore. - It is in an extraordinary location, across from a former monastery that is actually more interesting than Cashel Rock. Everything was fine.
- Catharine (10/5): Clean, comfy & amazing hosts. - Good breakfast, close to castle. Couldn't ask for nicer people. Stairs were a little narrow for my over sized suite case. Brid was so considerate & generous.
