• Virmarys (10/5): Un hogar lejos de tu hogar ❤️ - La habitación era hermosa, y cómoda. Pero lo mejor de nuestra estadía ha sido conocer a Patrizia y degustar los deliciosos desayunos que nos preparó. Patrizia es una anfitriona fenomenal, es sumamente amable, muy cálida, siempre responde a cualquier pregunta con una sonrisa. Además, preparó nuestra habitación con mucho amor y atención a los detalles, nos dejó bomboncitos de chocolate de cortesía y nos brindó un mapa de Matera con todos los puntos turísticos. También nos recomendó lugares para comer, nos ofreció coordinar tours guiados con una agencia de turismo, y cuando le comentamos que necesitábamos un taxi nos mandó a su esposo a recogernos sin costo adicional, es un amor de persona con un gran corazón. Cuando visiten a Patrizia por favor sean respetuosos y amables. No me gustó tener que irme, quisiera quedarme en Matera por siempre ❤️

• Alice (8/5): Perfetto per una coppia - Gli host Patrizia e Donato sono gentili, disponibili, simpatici e preparati. La colazione ottima, sia dolce che salata, con molti prodotti fatti in casa. La posizione del B&B è ottima perché si arriva in auto e si parcheggia abbastanza bene, poi si va facilmente a piedi fino ai sassi. Eravamo in 3 e la camera era palesemente da 2. Oltre al letto matrimoniale è stato aggiunto un lettino pieghevole non molto comodo che era un po’ in mezzo. Il bagno un po’ stretto e pochi appoggi.

• Federica (10/5): - I proprietari sono super gentili e disponibili, la colazione è super ottima e abbondante tutto preparare con cura dalla proprietaria, la camera e bagno pulitissimi con tutto il necessario acqua, bagno schiuma, shampoo, detergente, asciugacapelli ecc.., Super consigliato anche x la posizione vicinissima a piedi ai sassi e centro. Se torneremo a Matera sicuramente andremo da loro.

• Bardet (9/5): - Le petit déjeuné était excellent vraiment fabuleux ! Le parking gratuit à côté de la résidence est un + Les hôtes sont adorables. L’adresse n’est pas très facile à trouver. De plus le filtre « SPA » m’a induit en erreur, il n’y a pas de SPA directement dans le logement.

• Yan (8/5): - The location was perfect, steps from the Matera center. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was good and the bedroom storage was adequate Google maps got confused finding the location, and the host was moderately helpful. Explaining how to get in took close to an hour. It would make things a lot faster and easier if she just stepped outside and showed us in. Bathroom was kind of dated with the shower cabin so tiny, almost impossible to get into. I thought they stopped making those in 1970s

• Evi (10/5): Very recommended - Breakfast was excellent. Patrizia made sure you had everything you need and it tasted delicious. The location is just near the city center to walk, but far enough to have a quiet sleep. The parking was a bit of a challenge as the square is free public parking, so you might have to look for a spot. For me the bed was a bit hard, but this is personal preference.

• Richard (8/5): Convenient place to stay outside the ZTL for traveling by car - Right next to a free public parking lot outside the ZTL but need to be directed to be safe. Breakfast was a superb spread of different items and homemade baked goods. Hostess was very personable. Did not expect the property to be a duplex apartment in a very large residential complex instead of an independent structure. Assigned bedroom was tight for 2 people and luggage. Overall more like an airbnb. Use of whatsapp to communicate.

• Gloria (2/5): Terrible - The hostess was quite nice and the breakfast was very good We had reserved the best (and unusually expensive) room in the house. What we got instead was a very small room, so small that there was no desk or table. There was a single office chair and no comfortable seat. There was no room for a refrigerator or any other amenity. A tiny shower where I could fit because I am not too fat... Why were we not given the very expensive room we had reserved ? The hostess, a nice lady, said she was sorry and that it was all a sad mistake caused by booking.com. Quite a silly story! She appeared offended when we said we felt robbed. But it was too late to find another place to go. Terrible.
• Kari (7/5): If you don’t mind the owners constantly being around, it is a good place to stay. - Nice owners, good breakfast, great location The room was incredibly small, there was no where to open your suitcase without blocking the path to the bathroom. The owners live there and I didn’t like the feeling of them hovering / always being around. The listing did not make it clear that the owners live there. I would not have booked this if I realized that. Cleaning service put my belongings places where it was very hard to find them (behind curtain in bathroom) and I forgot something because I couldn’t see it. Only the bedroom and bathroom is yours. Kitchen/terrace/living area is all shared. Check-in was terrible. This stay is in an apartment inside a big apartment complex. There is no sign. I never received any instructions, had to wait out in the cold and call multiple times to get in. A simple message with the buttons to press and the codes would have saved me a lot of frustration.

• Jess (10/5): Very relaxing weekend - The room was so nice and the staff were wonderful. Friendly, loved our baby, the breakfast was perfect. It was really close to the center of town but nice and quiet right where the BnB was. The staff were helpful and can tell you about tours and help you make reservations. When we got there they gave us a couple maps and booklets and showed us where everything was in relation to the room. Recommended some restaurants which were very good. We will definitely be coming back here, it made the first trip with our baby that much better.
• Yoseph (10/5): Great choice for a stay in Matera - The rooms are in a beautiful, spotlessly clean home with a phenomenal view of Matera. Easy access to the flat by elevator, one of the rooms is upstairs. Our hosts were responsive and exceptionally kind. A wonderful breakfast, with the largest selection we had anywhere in Puglia. Great location for the Sassi. Easy parking in a nearby lot or on the street just outside.
• Pavleta (9/5): Superb - Great host, Patizia was so kind! Breakfast and location are perfect. Also the balcony is very nice. Breakfast is served there.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - No one was at the property for check in. You need a cell phone to call one hour in advance. We didn’t have a phone so we had to wait. This was as much our problem as theirs. Just be warned. Otherwise it is a beautiful property ten minutes walk from the center. The hostess and host are friendly and gracious people but do not speak English. We enjoyed it very much.
