Large fridge freezer in the room.Walk up the beach approximately quarter of a mile to walking street This is very basic accommodation no air conditioning no hot water. Fan in room. The bed does not have a proper mattress although I understand you can request one at additional cost. This is the most basic of accommodation. My review is conflicting though as the location is stunning. This really is sleeping in a hut on the beach.Owners should invest and would quickly recoup their outlay

Total 8200bath für 3 Nächte. Eine absolute Frechheit. Schimmel an den Wänden.Das Zimmer war schmutzig, roch stark nach Verwesung. Das Waschbecken im Bad hatte keinen Ablauf, das ganze wasser lief unten raus. Defekte Möbel.

• Brown (6/5): Great location, cheaper price than some, rough stay! - Staff were very friendly and helpful! The island tour was great! Very hot room, the fan didn’t help much. The shower water smelled like swamp water. The decor is dated at best. Every noise from every neighbor can be easily heard.
• Lesley (4/5): Hard going resulted in us leaving early - We were tucked towards the end of the beach Our shack was on the end the other side being the dive school. They had there meet ups from approx 7:30-8 am … so disturbed … our privacy more than noises.. I could hear the pep talks whilst using our loo. As mentioned in other reviews the flooring is very compromised.. eg plank floor going from bedroom to bathroom is broken .. we were fearful we would walk on broken plank and cause us harm! The step down onto the beach is also broken … so you have to have your wits about you .. the rusted ceiling fan must have been lovely when it did work some years back. We had booked for a week but we left after 4 nights .. absolutely no comfort …. The resort needs massive investment. But you can sense the complacency from the staff .. because as tourists we keep coming…. We luckily got the last 2 tickets for the ferry on the day of our departure.. the island itself is so given over to tourism … you could be anywhere. Walking Street is geared exclusively for tourists… not our vibe

I knew before hand that the beds were not very comfortable. This is very true. I don't think that we could have stayed a third night This is the same for the cold water, but that I could live with. A little expensive for what you get and the squawking ducks during the night were very annoying.

• Hannah (1/5): Horrible customer service, the woman working at the reception was totally rude! - I didn't end up staying with Daya Beach - ultimately requesting to cancel prior to arriving to Koh Lipe. I am leaving a review just to describe the lack of customer service I was met with prior to arriving and once at reception. I was able to book a room with Daya, but decided to cancel upon learning the hotel does not have hot water nor normal flushing toilets. I called the listed number and was told I can cancel free of charge within a four-hour window of booking. Unfortunately, through booking.com, you need written confirmation of this from the property in order for the website to return the charge. I called the number back over 10 times throughout the four hour period, but no one ever answered. I sent multiple emails, and had booking.com send an email. I decided that it would be best to speak to someone at the property to gain clarification and successfully cancel my stay. Upon arriving at Daya's reception, I explained the circumstances, to which the woman working behind the desk called the same number, and told me that the manager is now "busy" and can respond to my request on booking.com when she is "done with a meeting." The woman is at a computer, with plenty of notes indicating she is able to manage the check-in process, from which I assumed she could help me with the cancellation. I ask her if she knows when her manager will be available to respond, so that I can move on to the next place with peace of mind. She just merely says she does not know, and begins to ignore any of my questions. She simply sits at the desk with her phone in hand, ignoring me as I am politely asking for clarification. Eventually, I receive a message from the "manager" through booking.com that denies the cancellation request! I felt certainly misled in this situation. It felt like they wanted to conveniently wait until the four-hour window had passed and the free cancellation would not be upheld.

• Sandra (7/5): - Das Daya liegt ganz hinten am Pier links direkt am Strand. Wir hatten zu dritt mit 5 jährigem Sohn ein Doppelzimmer. Auf Anfrage haben sie uns kostenfrei noch eine Matratze ins Zimmer gebracht damit wir alle genügend Platz haben zum Schlafen. Das Zimmer ist nicht besonders groß und auch nichts besonderes aber wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wir waren einen abend im Restaurant von Daya essen. Ambiente sehr schön, direkt am Beach und dafür auch sehr preiswert. Allerdings war das Essen nicht so überragend und der Service war auch nicht der beste.

• Kevin (7/5): Hade ej bott här igen men hade absolut besökt resturangen på kvällen! - Att det låg nära stranden, resturangen på kvällen måste varit öns bästa fiskeresturang! Helt underbar! Att det skulle vara enkelt och låga standarder hade vi koll på men vi skulle ha en bungalow precis bakom stranden men fick istället ett rum u en par slinga utan kylskåp och även utan varmvatten.. för priset var det inte riktigt värt det!

• George (6/5): Basic, tired, and poor service. You get what you pay for ☺️ - Ok this property is what it says on the tin. It’s basic, right on the beach. The rooms were clean, the facilities were minimal, and the food was not bad…. The service was quite bad, I’ve got too much to go into. Basically this property is run by a big family, half of them just don’t want to be there. We went for breakfast, sat down waited 20 minutes and decided to go over to the women sitting around a pile of money and service sheets eating their own food. We asked to order breakfast, it all came in bits a pieces over 30 minutes. We had 3 power cuts whilst we’re there. I just feels stagnant and run down.

Poca cura. Nn ci vuole nulla a cambiare una mensoletta di plastica completamente rotta e che non serve a nulla. Piuttosto toglila. Come Anche non ci vuole molto ad aggiustare un rubinetto che si Muove e non eroga acqua.

• Caroline (1/5): Preis-Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht - Die Lage Leider sehr enttäuschend. Der Bungalow war in einem schlechten und ungepflegten Zustand. Preis-Leistung aus meiner Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Bett war steinhart, das Badezimmer in sehr schlechtem Zustand (flackerndes Licht, abblätternde Farbe, offene Stellen in der Wand) und insgesamt nicht sauber. Ein Kühlschrank fehlte ebenfalls. Zwar wurde vorab darauf hingewiesen, dass es nur kaltes Wasser und keine Toilettenspülung gibt, dennoch ist das für diesen Preis kaum akzeptabel. Einziger Pluspunkt: die Lage direkt am Strand.

• Mathieu (2/5): Nuit spartiate - Qu'il soit situé en bord de la plage mais j'ai surtout aimé partir de cet endroit On a avait 2 bungalow, le premier était catastrophique, porte cassé, ventilateur plafond cassé, pas de fenêtre juste une moustiquaire, aération bouché au scotch qui partait et une odeur bizarre. Le deuxième bungalow était vraiment basique mais comparer à l'autre c'était un palace Pas d'eau chaude mais on été prévenu et ça nous dérangeait pas Mes amis ont préférés partir et se mettre bien dans un hôtel d'un autre standing Pas de clim juste un ventilo et un lit dur..très dur, pire nuit du séjour

Bett viel zu hart, sonst fanden wir es Super für einen längeren aufenthalt würden wir nicht nochmal hin aber für 2-4 Nächte ist es Okay

• Paolo (2/5): Muy sucio - Nada Sucio
• Camilla (9/5): - Jättebra läge vid ena änden av stranden. Bra mat o frukost i restaurangen (som dock inte ingick). Enkla rum
• Ouided (4/5): - L’emplacement est bien, proche de la plage, pas loin( 10 minutes de marche sur le sable) pour accéder au walking street. Le matelas est très très inconfortable. Il y a eu plusieurs coupures d’électricité. Le système de seau pour la chasse est pénible.
• Francesco (6/5): - Il fatto che sia sulla spiaggia è la sola cosa per cui vale la pena soggiornare qui. Lo staff ha subito precisato di non aspettarci una struttura con tanti comfort. Sicuramente rapporto qualità prezzo non all'altezza. Consiglio di spostarsi un po' più in centro sulla Walking strett per trovare strutture vicinissime al mare ma con maggior comfort.
