Unfortunately the loca - Jonas was our host and really made our stay memorable, he ensured that we had everything we need and more. The rooms were comfortable and we really appreciated the air conditioning. Location is a bit tricky, we had a 4x4 and still got stuck coz we took the alternative route. Shops are a bit far and the road makes it worse, takes about 40 min drive.

Seems like the owner was aware of this but didn't disclose it. Although the property informs you of the road there, it was really bad and seemed like people get stuck in the sand a lot. The staff was very helpful when we got stuck

Place was very clean too and kitchen well equipped. Water filter wasn't working properly so the water was brown. Roads are really bad , car got stuck in the sand and had to be dug out.

- Steve (7/5): A lovely tropical getaway. - The location is great, only a few meters from the beach and the waters of the lagoon. There is also lots of space to park if you are towing a boat. There are a lot of mosquitoes as there are lots of trees on the property, especially close to the cottages. I would say that the resort is also a bit outdated and the cottages could use a little bit of upgrading in terms of appliances and things.

The property that we booked was at first not given to us and only afterwards, after requesting to the owner we moved to the right chalet. 2. Something could be done to the barbecues. Very old and rusted. 3. The jacuzzi did not work properly. 4. The gas hot water geysers did not operate properly while showering. May need some servicing.

- Thandeka (9/5): Mama Nene - The place is a great value for money, it really exceeded our expectations. The place is kids friendly. The staff members were very friendly and welcoming. A 4*4 vehicle is a need in order to fully enjoy Nhabanga village.

- Ramsamy (9/5): My stay was wonderful and memorable. - The place is beautiful but a 4 X 4 is necessary, without a car to move around is difficult and very expensive. The place does not serve breakfast but there are lovely restaurants nearby but some do not deliver unless a local person speaks to them. We enjoyed our stay at beautiful Mozambique. I think there could be an improvement in bathroom accessories for example an extra toilet paper, soap, shower cap, towels etc as it's difficult for one to get to the shops without a vehicle and after spending the day out it was late to ask anyone for anything.

- Wynand (10/5): Serenity 100% lives up to their name - We spent the easter weekend at Serenity and it was absolutely amazing! The cabin we stayed in was great the aircons in the rooms was a lifesaver, making the stay so much better. There is a pool that is always cleaned and well maintained, and the cabin we had even had an outside jacuzzi, which was a great surprise and made the stay even better. We loved everything about it; there was nothing we did not like.

- Divan (8/5): Therapy vacation. - The location The place is very green, joyful and clean. There is not much in the area, you really have to go organised with everything you may need or you will have to travel back to the Bilene Vila to get your goods which is 17km away from the place.
- Sandeer (10/5): Definitely worth the stay. - The apartment was correctly positioned very close to the water edge. The pool was amazing after a day of snorkeling in the estuary. Staff was very helpful. The aircons and gas geyser needed attention while we were there as it did hassle us a few times. The jacuzzi unfortunately didn't work for us as the tap water was dirty to shower or fill the jacuzzi.

They must disclose the conditions of their roads before people can book so that they can make own decision to book or not. The bedding was not smelling nice, towels were too dry. Had to use bedding from small bed. Water from the tap was brown in the morning. Fortunately we had our own water to drink.
