• rémy (10/5): Magnifique hôtel au calme . - Séjour parfait au Crete Golf Hotel ! Les chambres étaient superbes, spacieuses et très confortables, avec un lit immense où nous avons très bien dormi. Nous avions réservé deux chambres communicantes, ce qui était vraiment pratique. Mon mari et mon fils ont adoré pouvoir jouer au golf, une belle expérience pour eux. Tout était impeccable : l’accueil chaleureux, les chambres, le petit déjeuner varié et délicieux sans oublier la magnifique piscine surplombant le golf. Une très belle opportunité pour nous de découvrir ce magnifique hôtel, que je recommande sans hésiter ! Rien!

• Sara (10/5): - The hotel was absolutely superb, we were there for a 3 night stay at the end of a weeks villa holiday and it was perfect. Rooms were massive, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful. The only thing that we could complain about was the pool area - the pool itself is stunning and overlooks the golf course BUT there are too few loungers and too few towels!!! So we arrived on one occasion to nowhere to sit and nothing to dry ourselves with - not ideal, one family with little children were all sat on one lounger! The pool area is not manned in any way so once the towels are gone they are not replaced! A few more chair/loungers are definitely required as there was space for them. Apart from this little niggle, the hotel was excellent and we would definitely return.

• Caroline (7/5): Mooie locatie, service kan beter. - Ruime kamers met een goed bed en prima badkamer. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt, lunch en diner. Twee dagen waren er geen handdoeken beschikbaar. De wasserij had niet geleverd. Geen service bij het zwembad ook onvoldoende handdoeken. Geen compensatie ontvangen. Ondanks dat wij een week geboekt hadden moesten we voor een 18-holes incl buggy en clubs 290 euro betalen. In het restaurant te weinig personeel. Eén persoon moest het allemaal alleen doen. Was overigens een heel vriendelijke vrouw met veel geduld ondanks de drukte.

She provided us with excellent recommendations for local spots that were off the beaten path, just as we had requested. Her suggestions made our experience truly special. • Alexand'or (8/5): Beautiful serene place for people who play Golf! - The rooms were very spacious, minimal and extra clean. A serene place with very good breakfast and extremely helpful staff. We visited this place with a large group of friends in order to attend a baptism on the actual hotel. Therefore we had company and we had a great time. If that wasn't the case, the hotel is extremely quiet and mainly oriented for people who play Golf. The interiors are also very American Golf Style. A bit further from the main city of Heraklion. Very isolated I must admit, in the middle of nowhere. I guess it makes sense, since it is a Golf Club and the property is surrounded by the Golf Fields. If you need some quiet time and play Golf on a day to day basis, then that's your place!
• Ani (7/5): Lovely hotel, check on construction - The hotel was lovely, spacious rooms with nice furnishings and a pretty restaurant overlooking the 18th green. The staff were very friendly and offered assistance on the local area and day trips. The food in the restaurant was good, if you stayed for a long time it would get a little repetitive. There were lots of cats/kittens around the restaurant which were fun to watch. The golf was good, quite a long course to walk so a buggy would be recommended! The course was very quiet when we visited. There was a lot of construction work happening across the valley. It went from around 8am-5pm, if you were sitting at the pool it was very noisy and you would need earphones to try to drown it out. I’m not sure when this is finishing.

• Nicole Marie-Madeleine Lekieffre épouse (10/5): - Beautiful hotel -- spacious rooms with views onto hills and sea, with superb marbled bathrooms. Pleasant and smiling staff. Great golf course with excellent and friendly pro. Some inconsistencies in housekeeping : we were amazed and happy to find sets of face cloths in bathrooms on arrival but these were taken and never replaced. Similarly the coffee machine was superb but the pods were not automatically replaced. So we had to ask for face cloths and coffee pods at reception which complied readily. Water bottles, however, were replaced every day. A great place to base a week of exploring Crete-- plenty of parking for our rental car. The east and south coasts were within easy reach. To the west Rethymno was within an easy day's drive but Haina was a bit too far. All in all a great base for exploring Crete without suffering from too many (other) tourists 😉

• Chananya (10/5): Beautiful location, great hotel with an amazing staff - The location is amazing, with its beautiful mountains and sea view. Sitting by the pool or at the outdoors dining area, surrounded by that scenery, was for me the definition of a relaxing vacation. As for the rooms, they were very spacious with big bathrooms that felt very luxurious. But above all else, what I liked most about this hotel was the staff. My fiancée and I had a problem with the car and the rental company during our stay, which would’ve definitely ruined our trip had we stayed somewhere else. But the staff was very kind and helpful, especially Anna, Maria and Veronica. They were empathetic and very kind, and helped sort things out with the rental company, while reassuring us that everything will be all right. They put us at ease when we needed it most, and after it all got sorted out, they gave us some great information on some scenic road trips and beautiful beaches that really made this a perfect and memorable vacation. The hotel was very nice and modern, very clean and the room (junior suite) was spacious and nice with a king size bed, minibar and a big flatscreen. The people were very nice and service minded and the food (and the breakfast) was great. The golf course was in mint condition and outside the season you could pick and choose your tee off. The practice areas were also really good. The pool was gorgeous and very calm. If you want to get away from lots of drunken youngsters, and enjoy golf and sun, this is the place.
