Very impressed with the staff. I was over-charged. I thought it was supposed to be Rs 5000+ per night but I was charged Rs 10,000+.

• Dr (6/5): kumb so adjust - this guest house appaer good ,reception good ,food good room size small , the car driver who agreed to drop us at the air port at 4am never picked up the phone,caused tension ,we were awake by 2 0 clock to get ready ,no water ,no body responded from the reception,the geyser did not work, we have to wake up the boys to switch on the motor for water,no lift i am 67 and my husband 70 really found it difficult to climb up and down ,i would never suggest this for the elderly facilities were poor

• Nikhileshwar (10/5): Excellent Hospitality- Great Hertiage Propery - Great heritage property and amazing host who was very accommodative . - spacious rooms and clean washrooms - Very Welcoming and helpful staff - Arjun, the property owner was amazing - he bent over backwards to ensure we had a pleasant stay during our Kumbh I visit. - We had our lunch and was one the tastiest food I have had on the trip . Entire staff was exhausted due to the kumbh crowd but they were very polite and pleasant . Really enjoyed my stat here - Can’t complain about anything given the Kumbh rush . In easier times , they can do better with the room fresheners .

• Apoorva (9/5): Good - The property is located in a quiet area. My mother visited with a relative for Kumbh and this hotel came up. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful. The price of the room was a bit on the higher end. I understand it is due to the fact that Kumbh is going on and hotels are doing surge pricing. But the experience made it worthwhile.

• Bhuvnesh (3/5): Not satisfied at all. - Highly overpriced for the facilities provided. Except for Mr. Anand, who was very helpful and warm, the staff was not friendly at all. Very matter of fact attitude as if doing a favour to the guest. The room #106 is right next to the reception with the only window in the room opening into the reception. No peace in the room since all the chatter in the reception which normally carries on till almost 1 am is highly disturbing.
• S (5/5): Passable - Toilet paper was not kept. TV not connected, 1 remote was missing. Dustbin neither kept in room nor bathroom. It seems room preparation was not done properly for next customer. Lac of monitoring appeared. Although property is good and improvement is possible by enhanced monitoring.
• Narendra (7/5): Passable - Location was quite good - away from the bustle of the town. Courtyard was a good place to sit out. Room interior is rather garish in the choice of colors. There is no consistent way to decorate room and has assortment of things, including pic of a child which seems that of the owner family. More museum feeling rather than a comfortable feeling of a bedroom. Asides, lot of work underway, ahead of the upcoming Mahakumbh, with workers milling around all the time. Consistent noise of the work meant that we chose to spend more time outside the property.
• Prashant (1/5): Bad - They show photos of higher category rooms for Dlx room but they are actually on the terrace with tin roof. There is no elevator and seems very aloof on rooftop. The service team is very irresponsible.
• Amit (1/5): Be carefull - Nothing Something was fishy.. Everyone's behavior, starting from the owner to receptionist seemed suspicious. They gave the room which i have booked to others without asking me and they did not regret it at all. I was told earlier that the room you have booked is undergoing painting but when I checked, the room was being used by another person.I don't know for sure, but for more money or for some other reason, everyone did this conspiracy together. I realized that there were other guests with me who were also getting the same treatment. The behavior of the owner and his son was rude. His language was like they are doing favor to us. Just be careful.

Warm hospitality and extremely courteous staff specially Kaushik ji 3. Delicious food just like home made and customized to your taste. Food is coming right from their own farms. Healthy organic food. Swad bhi sehat bhi. 4. Beautiful palace-like property having big rooms. Antique decor/interior takes you to british era 5. Even more beautiful than what it looks in photos 😍 6. Neat and clean 7. Reasonable tariff and even allowed my early check-in request at no extra cost 8. Provided me upgraded room at no extra cost 9. Luckily met the owner who once lived in this beautiful property with his family. He is so highly educated, worked with the World Bank and is still so down to earth. He has a lot to share about ancient era. Lot to learn from him. Respect! 10. Safe and healthy environment. All in all, absolutely loved my experience and I would love to visit again! ❤️

• Venkata (9/5): Excellent place to stay with family - The hotel is just like a mahal. The rooms are of old raja type. Very spacious. The interiors of the hotel and the rooms are memorable. Selfie lovers can take good number of pictures inside the hotel. The cook is very good. she served delicious panchmel dal and other items. We just fell in love with the dishes. They allowed late check in and late check out and charged pro rata basis. Money worthy. They have arranged an e rikshaw to receive us and the charges are very nominal. The autowala Kamal Pal is a very good young man and he cooperated with us very well. The staff of the hotel are very courteous. The area is very peaceful. Cabs are available. It seems that this place is come Raja's or Britishers Guest house. they renovated and made it like a hotel. The card machine is not working. they asked us to pay in cash. but I was not carrying that much cash. Our bill was almost 10.5k for 1.5 days including food. Then they allowed us to pay 50% in cash and 50% UPI.

• Ed (5/5): Dissapointing stay but great dinner - Allthough we arrived at 20.30 the female cook made a excellent dinner for us. We enjoyed it a lot. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is poor. Our bathroom was old, the matrasses were very old and bad. The internet was very slow or didn’t work. The staff ( except the cook) was not very friendly or helpfull and spoke poor english

• Ranjit (7/5): Decent property for a night stay - Renovated old Bunglow with an old world charm. Overall decor was very good. Big rooms, courteous staff, Shuklaji was particularly helpful. Location of the property is very good close to civil lanes.Restrooms were clean and provided basic toiletries. Grossly understaffed. There are only 3 staff and a cook. Not the staff's fault but dinner and BF were super delayed (10.00 p.m dinner and 10.00 a.m. BF after multiple follow-up). They should offer a fixed BF menu and start earlier in the day closer to 8.00 a.m. The property as such looked run down, AC in our room was a very old, super noisy and poorly maintained one. The upholstery, sofas etc clearly require maintenance. Looked like the cleaning staff was missing.

• Robert (9/5): Australian couple enjoyed their stay - It was a nice big room, with chairs etc. Shared lounge room was nice, where we chatted with other residents and staff. Because its a bit expensive by India standards, Indians staying there speak English well and have worldly experience to share (we were the only westerners). Food was terrific and well priced, and staff would go and get anything you need. Very nice garden and house in general. It can be a bit Faulty Towers, which can be fun if you have the patience and good humour! Quiet at night. We didn't know how much we would be up for until checkout, but we're very happy in the end. If having dinner in house, get in an order in the morning. • Kavita (4/5): Great staff, badly maintained but hyped place. - The staff are very polite and helpful. The food was excellent on the first day. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood. The dinner items were made fresh, so had the home taste. The place is hyped as a 'palace' or 'heritage' house, but its just an expensively built bungalow. The beds in some of the rooms are all springs and ended up with a backpain. Bedbugs too in some bedrooms along with visit by rats. The bathroom plumbing is bad. The curtains in bathroom (?) are torn and dirty. All these would have been tolerated but for the loud fighting the owner , one Mr Nigam, had with his staff. It went on for 2 hours and the voice drifted into the bedroom. He had some objections over also giving rooms to 'students' as he has to maintain the status of the guest house. Need a refund for one night of the total stay for the loss of sleep over his yelling and the rat in the room.

Unavailable all the time. Nobody was at the reception for 30 minutes. No one. Requested for warm water/ kettle 5 times but was not provided. Waiting staff was rude and Unavailable. Please change the management , the property is good but grossly mismanaged. My mother (56) had to shout 10 time to get any service.

• Marieke (9/5): Outstanding in the hotellandscape - Beautifull villa-style small hotel with a beautifull garden; something completely different. We had 2 very lange adjecent family bedrooms. The staff was most friendly and helpfull to make sure our stay met more than our expectations; f.e. they served delicious food and arranged a yogaclass for the 4 of us from a local yogi (not a hipster). The owner is a very friendly and interesting man and I loved talking to him. One small point of improvement: the shower is hotter than hot, and we could not figure out how to lower the temperature.
