Suzanne (10/5): - Stayed for one night in room 9 with the ensuite as personally I wouldn't like going outside to the bathroom in winter. The guys welcomed me and showed me the facilities, where to store foods in the fridge etc. Great place to stay, just a stones throw from Hesse Street for shops. As I stayed in winter and was one of 3 guests it was ultra quiet. It does have a hostel type of vibe but that doesn't matter to me. Big sized kitchen with full amenities such as microwave, oven and dishwasher for use by guests. A fireplace inside could be used and an outside fire pit/drum too. BBQ, and 2 very efficient patio gas heaters for extra warmth. TV if you feel like watching something, Netflix included, in the lounge space. For someone who works when away I was really impressed with the WIFI connection. All in all a great stay. Would recommend.
H (10/5): - This is great example of simple, clean and comfortable accommodation with communal areas that open the opportunity for incidental conversations and interactions that can enrich your stay. Loved the aquaponic tanks and nearby dive training facilities.

Catherine (10/5): - I had a great stay. Very good communication before arrival. Hannah very kindly upgraded my room. My room had a very very comfortable bed, a heater and bedside lamps. Everywhere was extremely clean. It is a 5 min walk from the bus stop and the bus also carries on to the ferry if you are catching that (or a 15 min walk). I highly recommend Cobb & Co!

Anne (8/5): - Out stay was comfortable but won’t stay with children again. Open door policy did not make me feel safe enough with children in toe. I also requested to use the pool and one staff meme we said yes and then when the pool was still covered over, my daughter went to ask and was told no. The property promotes indoor pool without any time restriction . We were requesting use around 3pm. On Friday night when all stove igniters we empty, 2 lots of groups struggled to get dinner on. Man upstairs was alerted and nothing was done about it. Further to the, I was unable to use my stovetop coffee making in the morning before heading away. Disappointing.

Marshall (10/5): Overnight stay - Very nice place to stay, more like a hostel with more space as it has a very lovey outdoor area with aquaponic tanks. The common room with kitchen very spacious and clean. Room was clean and access was easy. Walk to main street very close .

The common area was clean and inviting, amenities were old and tired looking, and need updating. The walls are very thin and we could hear the man snoring next door, and the other guests talking very loudly, very early in the morning, outside in the common area. The rooms are straight off the common area, not that obviously described when booking. I would recommend this place if you are going diving with the dive school but not if you are not. I thought it was too expensive for the what it was. The staff member, on leaving, was not engaging at all.

Free tea and coffee. Parking is available on the street. This place was different to expected. They are also a school for learning to do Scuba Diving. So that is why they have the indoor pool onsite. Pretty chill place. Helpful staff.

Ian (8/5): Better than most. Interesting place to stay. - We spent one night in a single room containing two double bunk beds for the three of us. The premises is primarily a Diving School but makes rooms available to the general public.The staff who greeted us and gave us (as first timers there) a tour were very friendly and helpful. The shared areas are good; comfortable and clean. The shared Kitchen was particularly clean, well kept and well stocked (free tea, coffee and Milo are supplied, along with a shared food section in the share fridge). The only bad part was that the weather was hot and the room was very hot. Two fans were supplied in the room and you could open the window or door but neither has fly screens so we had a lot of mosquitoes and one of us reacts badly to bites. The evidence that it is a Diving School is all about and shows in some of the interesting decore. There are strict rules about when noise must cease in different areas and I was pleased that they were adhered to. I also enjoyed the use of the small library with books that thankfully were not ALL/ONLY about diving. Despite the near-sleepless night, I found it a interesting and enjoyable place to stay and other circumstances, would stay again.

It is connected with a scuba shop and the rooms are either in or just outside of a large lodge. There is a full kitchen, a nice outdoor area, and the rooms and public spaces are clean, well kept, and organized. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful.

Thomas (10/5): Great value. Friendly atmosphere. - The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The lodge itself has a rustic cozy atmosphere with a nautical spirit, much like Queenscliff itself. It was our first visit but it won't be our last.

Jennifer (8/5): - This place is quite unique, I was not aware that there is a scuba dive school here. Inspiring me to consider getting my qualification! The rooms are well appointed, clean and well maintained. The only downside is that the wall’s between rooms are very thin. I could hear what my neighbours said and their snores. Doors constantly closing earlier in the night make the wall move. The exterior original stone walls are very thick. My bunk was very very squeaky with the slightest movement. The staff are very friendly and informative about the property being an old coach house. Shared bathrooms are clean.
Kerstie (10/5): Absolutely awesome - An absolutely phenomenal stay for two nights here!!!! My room was simple divine!! The kitchen was huge and open….. with a large fridge and all necessary crockery and utensils!! So so much history in the place and such fantastic service!!!! I cannot recommend this place enough!! The team really looks after you and makes you feel super welcome!!! Oh and the showers are epic!! Great great place x

Tim (10/5): - On arrival I was greeted by the friendly crew of the ajoining dive school, handed a beer and invited to join them for a BBQ dinner. I'm not suggesting that that happens every night at Cobb & Co, but it made for a great experience for me. The old stable in which the lodge operates is beautiful and rustic, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Would definitely recommend.
