When I asked the front desk lady she apologized and informed me that they had no more pillows because they were fully booked. My expectation of having enough pillows for every bed was apparently too much for this hotel. Asked the lady multiple times to remedy the situation, such as purchase enough pillows for every patron and she just stared at me.

There were many options for dining and gas close by. Their free breakfast is always fantastic. McPherson had an amazing oatmeal bar with many options. You never go wrong with a Fairfield Inn.
• Karen (10/5): Excellent place to stay at a great cost. - The property was easy to get to Even tho we traveled 30 minutes from Interstate 70 it extremely worth it. The hotel was well maintained outside and inside. The staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was the cleanest I have seen in years. The breakfast area was immaculate and the food was fine. Overall, it was quite a comfortable night’s stay at extremely affordable cost. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Liked it all.

• Kim (7/5): Family visit with other families loaded up at hotel - Good location right ff the highway with a few places to shop and eat nearby. The employee doing breakfast buffet was doing an excellent job keeping it stocked and clean. It was totally packed with people there for a baseball game. Kids were constantly in the pool and leaving huge wet pools of water on tiles from pool to elevator. My mom has a bad hip and almost slipped on the water. The hotel should have been cleaning that up. Also elevator on one side was out of order so it took forever to get anywhere. We were there for a few days and never saw the elevator being worked on. Also dirty with all the people using it and no hand sanitizer.

The receptionist did everything she could to help us get some rest. Eventually ended up having to move rooms due to the dog being left alone in the room. “Chelsea” was amazing at taking care of the problem. I may not be rested but happy with the hotel’s attempt to make things right.

The gym was comfortable and very clean. Could use a bit more equipment. The breakfast choices were excellent. I’m vegan so I appreciated the plant milk. I only wanted fruit and some nuts. The only downside is if you want to take some items rather than eat them there, the breakfast attendant hovers over you and makes it very uncomfortable.

• RLB_12 (10/5): Comfortable bed and clean room - We can't say enough about the staff here. Everyone from the front desk person to the breakfast people were very friendly. There were a lot of people staying in the hotel the night we got there but despite that our room was quiet and comfortable. Also the breakfast had several choices. We were worried that with the amount of people staying there that they would run out of certain items at breakfast - they didn't. If traveling this way again we would stay here.

• Nancy (4/5): - The property? Really? We couldn’t get service inside the hotel. No exchange of towels, no trash emptied. Really disappointing. I have stayed at other Fairfield Inns, and have had excellent accommodations. Not this one. I will say the night manager was helpful in finding us some towels, etc, and a large garbage bag to empty our trash.

• Jennifer (4/5): Expected way better for the price - Booked 2 rooms. Couldn’t get 2 rooms next to each other. Go into 1 room, trash and lighters on the floor. So they move us to a different floor, and all of a sudden could put 2 rooms by each other. In 1 room the microwave didn’t work, the other the coffe machine didn’t work. There’s also NO plug ins between the 2 beds—-no outlets, USB, etc so everything had to be charged across the room. I expected way better.
• Brooke (10/5): - We stay here when we visit our son at McPherson College which is extremely convenient. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
• Linda (6/5): - Evening clerk Anthony was very kind, helpful and fun to talk to. Our stay was Thursday- Sunday. Our room was never cleaned. We were told cleaning staff were off on the weekend! We had to get clean towels ourselves from front desk. Breakfast was mediocre. Having a sofa in room was a nice touch!

• Verified traveler (6/5): Broken elevator - The hotel experience would have been better if the elevator had been working. My husband is an amputee and we were on the 4th floor which was not a big deal when we arrived because the elevator did work when we checked in but this morning was a different story and had to make several trips up and down the 4 flights of stairs.

Printer didn’t work; no ink refill on hand. 4). Poor lighting in room. 5). Unwilling to extend late check out even 30 minutes, even though hotel only has 25% occupancy.

• Mohammed (10/5): Comfortable and peaceful. - Big room with dcomfortable bedding and a decent breakfast offered in morning. Perfect for business/ work accommodation. There is a fotness suite on site and very good for cardio and weights offered. Also comes with a pool which i didnt use. Hotel does come with lots of parking spaces. Town is small but peaceful and quiet. Overall a very pleasent stay.

• William (6/5): Average to below average because of poor service of cleaners. - Very nice breakfast. Front desk personnel were cordial and he helpful. Cleaning staff were below average. Stayed two nights. Day between the two nights resulted in zero tidying up of room, no replacement of coffee pods or cups, no replacement of empty tissue box, etc.
• Blaine (8/5): - The rooms were clean. Bed mattress felt worn in the middle. Limited on towels. Had to take dirties to the front desk or we couldn’t get more. We were there for the Kansas state fair. And unfortunately on the weekends the breakfast doesn’t start until 7:30!! Which is ridiculous for those who were up early to exhibit their livestock at the fair and left by 6:30. We had a room in Hutchinson but Expedia/Fairfield decided to cancel our room a month before our stay. Only reason why we ended up in McPherson. And they Only had one elevator working. I’m very irritated still with the cancellation of my original room.
