Down a country lane, B & B or self catering cottages. Quiet and on a hill by a lake. The Owners we so nice and it was like being at home - nothing was too much trouble and we had a lovely relaxed stay Breakfast was fresh and lovely and you could have anything you wanted. Fabulous find.

TamsynB (10/5): Beautiful accomodation in idyllic surroundings - We were greeted by Karen, the owner, who made us feel welcome immediately. We were visiting friends who live nearby and had booked The Dinney on their recomendation, so we didn't really know what to expect. Our room was spacious, immaculate and beautifully appointed with a comfortable bed and a huge shower. The view of the gardens and the reservoir were stunning, and it was lovely to hear the dawn chorus when we woke the following day. Breakfast was delicious and we received some very useful intel about places to visit. As it was only a few miles from Bridgnorth, we had a lovely day there and went on the Cliff Railway and the Severn Valley Steam Train. We'll definitely stay here again.

Hannah (10/5): A perfect cosy countryside getaway with the attention to detail to make this a great experience. - Classic cosy farmhouse style with luxurious touches. The room and en-suite were well equipped with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside and lake. It was very peaceful and relaxing but close to Bridgnorth to visit. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and the breakfast was superb. Excellent value for money. We will be staying again soon. Nothing to say here

Position was superb. Shower room was very cold and blinds in bedroom were not blackout so did not prevent external Christmas lights from illuminating bedroom until they were switched off at around 11.30 pm.

Foyle (9/5): A hidden gem! - Location was brilliant of you like walking. The venue provides you with a leaflet that has walks marked on them and clear written instructions we did 2 of 3 of them and did so with ease one was about 3 miles. Room had great views and amenities provided. Hosts were so lovely and attentive. We will be back for sure! Access to WIFI would have been a bonus.

Globejo (8/5): Very good - LOCATION: quiet scenic countryside with great views DECOR: a cozy “Double” with pleasant “country chic” decor VIEWS: double-aspect dormer windows with lovely rural views (just remember to “duck” when reaching for the kettle) Good WiFi An enjoyable “slow” BREAKFAST - as advertised; items can be selected from a menu with a good variety of options for all; quality ingredients cooked to order; Pleasant OUTDOOR SEATING area in the GARDEN with free-roaming chickens, ducks, dogs (beware the droppings / animal dietary indiscretions underfoot) A note of advice to hosts: coinciding strimming of lawn-edges with pre-arranged guest arrival time does not make for a relaxing “4-star“ experience; The room was advertised as “Double WITH SEATING AREA”: it was a very cozy COMPACT room (under a sloping roof so remember to duck!) with just ONE upright CHAIR with arms. This does NOT constitute a 4* “seating area” and the host's description could usefully be updated. Very limited shelf space: where does on put belongings / luggage if one guest is sitting in the one and only chair; A Double bed but rather on the narrow side - to fit in a compact room, I guess; DINNER Options ALL involve a short DRIVE. Host’s description labels the distance to the “local pub” as “WALKABLE”: i.e. “a 30 mins walk along a bridal path” (+ 30 mins return) is technically “walkable” but probably not realistic for most guests considering the HILLY surroundings - especially if visitors have had a long and tiring drive to arrive at the B&B.

Rhian (10/5): Excellent breakfast and relaxing vibe - Warm welcome with numerous offers of tea and biscuits. Lovely comfortable room with everything we needed, plus an array of books and magazines. Our breakfast was probably one of the best we've had at a b&b - choice, quality and presentation was excellent. We also had the best view onto the garden, watching wild birds feed, and farm animals stretching their legs and voices! The host gave us fabulous recommendations for our evening meal which did not disappoint.

Jane (10/5): Beautiful properties with lovely views - A group of 20, we stayed in Kingfisher, Cart and Drake cottages. In a beautiful location, all the cottages were very well equipped and tastefully furnished. Kingfisher was very spacious with room for us all to gather. We had access to lots of outside space. We loved the playing field where the kids could kick a ball around. We bbq’d on Sunday and sat outside enjoying the wonderful views. Delicious cakes left for us on arrival. We all had dinner at the nearby pub, The Bulls Head, on Saturday. Absolutely perfect and our hosts were very easy to communicate with and helpful. Would love to come back again. Nothing!

Myself and Laura was grateful for the homemade valentines cookie. We didn’t need to see Anyone as we knew the check in and other procedures from visiting in October 2020 and July 2021. The room itself was warm, clean and cosy and the highlight was the cosy breakfast by the log burner in the morning.
