• Sabrina Micaela (10/5): Excelente! - Zona muy céntrica. Precio razonable, bien equipado con dos habitaciones con balcones en el primer piso. Tenía lavadora, cocina, heladera, plancha, y aire acondicionado portátil en cada habitación. Además un ventilador para una zona en comun dónde podíamos ver televisión. Excelente, ideal para una estadía de dos parejas. El responsable siempre respondió a nuestras inquietudes. Lo único fueron las escaleras empinadas. Pero si se anuncia o cuando consultas previamente se te informa.

• PEREZ (4/5): El piso estaba completo, pero muy mal atendido - Ubicación . Llegamos por la noche estaba totalmente sucio de haber salido otros usuarios y no haber pasado por allí nadie. Las sábanas , el baño, toallas, bolas de pelo por el suelo ….no nos dieron solución hasta el día siguiente, con lo cual tuvimos que dormir sobra sábanas sucias( bastante sucias) y no pudimos ni ducharnos . Pedimos compensación porque no habíamos podido ni usar el baño y nos amenazaron con cobrarnos más porque a la hora de hacer la reserva Booking marca como si se reservara el apartamento para una persona solo . Nos querían cobrar por 3 más …. A pesar de que habíamos pagado hasta la tasa turística de 4. Tengo que añadir, que la plataforma no me está dejando subir las fotos donde se ve la suciedad

• Moroz (1/5): - Very disappointing. The apartment is tiny, in the attic, with a steep and narrow staircase. AC didn’t work, the place was dirty, and the owner didn’t respond. We left after 3 nights, despite paying €800 for 6. Only good thing is the location, but it’s noisy at night. Not recommended.

• Joan (1/5): Danger! This owner is not to be trusted, he will steel your money - We were never able to see it. We were left out in the rain with all our belongings for two hours being told by the shop keeper downstairs that it was not clean and he was waiting for a cleaning lady. We had rented the space from 2:00 in the afternoon and we didn’t arrive until 5:00 so there was no excuse for the apartment not to be ready. The owner was very slow to respond and after waiting two hours we left and had to find other accommodations. We missed our dinner reservation that evening and had to pay for another taxi. We were soaking wet and cold as this was November. Over a month later we still have not been reimbursed, even though we were not able to stay in this apartment. I would not recommend this property and would warn anyone not to waste their time and money renting this space. The unprofessional treatment and disrespect of the owner. He has essentially stolen money from us and caused us a lot of stress having to find other accommodations on a very busy weekend in Lisbon.
• Igor (1/5): Worst ever accomodation - In total that property with facility maybe deserved between 6. But here the largest problem is not in the facility but in the hospitality I have been using booking for many years, but I have never had such an experience. My intention in giving this owner a 1.0 score is to raise the question about his ability to be in the industry of hospitality. This owner was not interested in where I would sleep and what I would cover myself with. I have yet to experience an apartment that advertises that it has a sofa bed but does not have blankets or bed linen and does not want to bring them. All other comments that there is no sound proof insulation, that you sleep like on the street, that it was last thoroughly cleaned probably a year ago are special questions that I would not comment on because they have already been described in the comments of other users and which I was aware of when booking.

• Jia (4/5): Disappointing - it's in the city center, convenient. The apartment is on a very busy street and quite noisy every night till like 3am.Our room was on the 3rd floor, we had to carry our luggage up on some very steep stairs. there's a kitchen but no living room, a bit narrow in the apartment. washing machine didn't work and we couldn't find the owner to help. Me and two friends stayed for three nights, and only two small rows of toile paper, and a tiny soap bar were provided, when we asked the owner for more, he said you can buy :( there was no hair dryer, no shower gel no nothing. When we checked out and wanted to save our luggage there since we had a late train, they asked for 6 euros, just to save the luggage, it's ridiculous!
• Elaine (6/5): Pleasant - Good location, lots of restaurants near by. And a down hill walk in the river/city centre. The property needs a little updating. Some paint chipping off the tiles, wallpaper peeling. They said they provide toiletries, but some of them were half used shaving gel/shampoo, probably from previous guests. In the kitchen, there was out of date packets of sauce in the cutlery drawer. Coffee was the end of the jar and stuck together. But what really let us down was in the afternoon on our final day, we came back to find 2 new pieces of furniture in the kitchen. We had no notification that anyone was going to enter the property that day and considering we were leaving at 7 am the following morning, I feel this could have waited or they should have at least communicated to us that they were planning to enter the property that day.

• Fabrizio (8/5): Very good - Great location, the apartments are right in the historical centre and close to bars and clubs. The flats are nice, each with 2 bedrooms (double beds), a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and bidet and a small living room qith a sofa. Relatively quiet despite the location close to the nightlife area. Lots of places to eat or have fun in the surrounding area. To access the apartments there are very steep stairs. The cleanliness could be improved.

• Anne (1/5): Squashed in a loft. - It was clean. It was not what we booked. It showed it was a two bedroom apartment and the photos were not what we got. When we sent a message to the owner, they said we booked a one bedroom apartment and we were not allowed to use the other room which was only for kids as it had bunk beds. We went back in to booking.com and we did not make any mistake, they had still it advertised as a two bedroom. There were four flights of narrow stair that was like climbing a ladder. Can you imagine trying to get each of our cases up when there was only enough room for yourself. We have photos of this. The double bedroom, only just fitted the bed. No room for anything else. You actually had to turn sideways to get into the bed. The same with the room with the bunk beds. The kitchen had a dining table and chairs that could not be used as there was no room to sit as the ceiling was too low. Also there were no English channels on the tv. I can’t believe there are only Portuguese booking this apartment. There was no vent or window in the bathroom, so they left air freshener. There was no room in the whole apartment where you could open and leave your cases. There was no storage for any clothing in any of the rooms. I cannot believe we paid €695 for four days for this place. It was a total ripoff. There was one night we were wrecked, thought we would cook some food and watch a film but this was not to be. It was really dangerous trying to get our cases out of the building.

I did not feel safe in the event of fire.

• Patrick (8/5): Fabulous location and nicely appointed cosey apartment. - The apartment location is spectacular! It's on a quiet street in Bairro Alto but just 2 blocks from lively bars, restaurants and cafes. The square is just at the end of the street and has a number of shops and cafes you can pop into quickly as well. The pictures does make the apartment look much bigger than it is. It's well done and nice furnishings, but it is what I assume to be a finsihed attic apartment. So it's essentially 3 rooms connected off the living room area plus the bathroom. Because it's the attic, there are not many windows for natural light throughout. I was able to manage with the layout since it was just me, but I could see if being a bit tough if more than 2 people. Also, the door to the unit is not well insulated/framed so it's very noisy when downstairs neighbors are in the stairs or even if they are playing loud music in the apartment. I would recommend they get a new door that will provide some noise canceling support. Also, in believe it's noted in other reviews but the stairs are very steep and get even steeper each flight you go up.

We had no issues of noise but also had the air conditioner running at night. - The location of the property is really convenient on the popular 28 trolley and walking distance to everywhere. The hosts are also quick to respond and very accommodating. Depending on the apartment you’re staying in there are steep stairs which isn’t uncommon for the area.

• Gregory (4/5): great location, friendly staff , but never again! - the location, cleaning staff and the people from the shop downstairs it’s an attic , you cannot even stand straight , appliances like fridge & washing machine are stored . The appliances in the kitchen itself are so outdated. It is so small you can only go in& out of bed by the foot end. It shouldn not be rented line it is now and certainly not for that price .

Also it is close to metro and trams, many restaurants and points of interest. Noisy at night but the double-glazed windows helped and the location made up for it.
• Cornellk (7/5): Great, central and very cosy. Would recommend for younger travellers. - The door code system works well. There was a shopkeeper guy who was very helpful. The place was very small but cute and cosy. Everything we asked for was done and sorted out quickly. Fantastic position with the best bakery just down the road :0) Bario Alto is noisy but very vibey and great to stay in. Party central. The staircase is crazy steep. This should be a warning. The area is very noisy so take good ear plugs. The place is very cosy but tiny. The price you pay for being so central. There were only two towels which is not enough for a week long stay. They wanted 130Euro for a towel and bedding change which is rediculous. The bathroom is very stuffy and no extractor, not good for more than one person. Beware of dugs being peddled everywhere.
• Eric (5/5): Passable - location The hosts were a bit of a nightmare. First they couldn't let us into the apartment as they couldn't find the booking confirmation even though i was showing it to them,so we waited around for about 30mins outside. Then on the second day of our stay they walked in completely unannounced to take out a washing machine machine and replace it. Not a text or a phone call to let us know and then spent about an hour or two working in the apartment in the middle of the day. The bathroom door to the only bathroom didn't close properly and then handle that was on it had fallen off within the first day. The wifi log in didn't work.
• Yasna (5/5): Brilliant location but tiny, ridiculously steep stairs and not value for money - The location was brilliant. the bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything you could need was in the property. washing machine was very useful. We were on the 4th floor. the stairs were quite dangerous - extremely steep and very narrow and step treads barely wide enough to put your foot on. if someone has the slightest of mobility issues, this would not be manageable. Inside the flat was one of the smallest i have ever been in. The bed in the main bedroom was virtually wall to wall with only the slightest room either side. so we had to climb over the bed to get in and out. Due to its amazing location, you couldn’t keep any windows open and the air conditioner struggled to keep the place cool. It was quite claustrophobic. Personally we felt it was overpriced and would not stay again

The host was EXTREMELY rude to me and my colleague on arrival, and we found that there was no wifi available. As this was a business trip, we immediately cancelled the booking but I have still not received a refund. This is unacceptable.
• Gustavo (10/5): Aconchegante e bem localizado!! - O apartamento fica em um prédio antigo, encima de uma lojinha de souvenir, no entanto ele foi reformado e bem decorado. Fica a menos de 100 metros da praça Luis de Camões. Tem transporte, lojas, padarias, restaurantes ótimos, tudo muito perto. Quem toma conta do apartamento é o Sr. Newton que é quem fica na lojinha em baixo do apartamento, ele não fala muito português, mas é muito atencioso e gentil. Tivemos sorte de ficar no primeiro andar, pois tem umas escadas muito íngremes. Se você se incomoda muito com barulho á noite eu não o recomendaria, mas se você adora barzinhos, restaurantes e um agito à noite, o lugar é ideal!!

I booked this hotel by an accident, I pressed the wrong button on the website, then the system processed it, I called Expedia immediately, Expedia refused to cancel it! I book a separate hotel from my conference vendor, but I decided to check this one out when I am at Lisbon, believe it or not, I have took a picture of eveything on this location, no sign, no information, Expedia is a big lier
• Jurg (8/5): Central Lisbon stat - Right in the centre, everything close by and in walking distance. Rooms are good and comfortable and clean, but beware of super steap and narrow steps leading to the apartment. Luckily we stayed on level 1, the level 2 and 3 apartments are a challenge and dangerous.
• Kim (8/5): - Quaint cute attic apartment in great location! Very Easy to arrange checkin. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Yes there are 4 narrow steep flights of stairs but this was not a problem for us. This is a small apartment so 4 adults may find it tight but it was good size for the 2 of us.
• Maria Esther (8/5): Apartamento céntrico y cómodo - El apartamento fantástico, cómodo, limpio, todo en buen estado. La zona muy buena para recorrer Lisboa a pie, cerca de muchos restaurantes y bares diferentes. Muy recomendable. A mejorar la atención, cuando llegas no sabes lo que tienes que hacer porque el propietario no te ha avisado de nada, cuando lo intentas localizar por teléfono no responde, solo se puede pagar en efectivo. A destacar la atención de hoteles.com, al avisarles de la incidencia sé ofrecieron de inmediato a buscar otro alojamiento sin coste adicional.

• Verified traveler (4/5): The property is way too small - No elevator, if you have knee issues or back pain avoid the fourth floor. Staircase are tiny and watch your steps. Kitchen has everything you need and the assistant on site is a great guy. Rooms are too thight and the bunkerbed room is useless. While taking my shower the glass door of the shower fell on me but thank god nothing happened. The place is super clean and beds smell nice. Watch out from the hidden charges. Read the bottom terms, they charge you for cleaning twice not only when you leave. They charge for towels, many other places don’t charge. The owner is responsive to all inquires but a bit of an attitude when it comes to money. Obviously he’s in for the money not service. After complaining about the shower incident he refused to refund my third day so I checked out earlier to an awesome property.
