The reception staff were very nice. In a great spot for exploring Paris and lots of restaurants and lots of food/fruit stands close.

No hot pots in rooms for coffee, my particular roomed smelled like tobacco which led me to ask for room spray which didn’t do much and the walls are pretty thin so you hear everything in the room next to you. Good things were the water was good and hot the air conditioning worked very well and the windows opened nicely and beds were comfortable. The staff we had was nice.

The rooms are clean and when I needed extra blankets the staff attended to my needs very quickly. The area is beautiful. I live in Beverly Hills so I’m used to beautiful streets. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel. I will stay there again and again. I absolutely loved this hotel.

• catherine j (10/5): - This property is in a neighborhood that mostly serves locals or French travelers but is quiet close to the center of Paris. The restaurants and patisseries are good and it is two blocks from bon Marché my favorite food store and department store in Paris. The staff speak enough English to get you what you need. The room was clean and most importantly, the air conditioning was good. We didn’t eat the breakfast because there are such good choices locally for less.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not the best - Most of the staff was nice and the bed was decent. I don’t think I have any other positive things to say about this hotel. It didn’t feel clean. We ran out of toilet paper in our room and when I went to get some from the front desk I’m pretty sure he ran up to an empty room and grabbed a used roll. The bathroom had mold around the window. Stains on the carpet. And this may be petty but I didn’t care for the room key situation. They use real keys on an obnoxious key chain and then expect you to turn it in to the front desk every time you leave so they can hold on to it for you.

The paint was peeling a little on the bathroom ceiling but it did not detract from the cleanliness and comfort of the room. Staff was excellent and friendly. You cannot beat the location for easy access to the Seine, St. Germaine des Pres and Montparnasse. Would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast was not provided as in many other European hotels and was €16 per person which seemed excessive for what was available. I was fairly close to several different Metro stops which made it reasonably convenient.

• Heidy (4/5): - I did not enjoy this stay. The hotel is very old. Old carpet and old wall paper. The room was so dark even I had all the lights turned on. The pictures on expedia website make the hotel looked a lot nicer. They used small bottles of shampoos and not given on the second day. No hair conditioner. Lotions were watery. Soap bars for shower. We ended up going to nearby grocery store to buy our own shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Tissue box was half empty when we arrived so it was empty fast. Front desk was very small with one receptionist. Need to give the room key to the receptionist every time leaving the hotel. Breakfast area very small. I paid over $250usd per night for this hotel so I wasn't happy. But it was too late to do anything and I won't let it ruin my vacation! Will not stay here again!

The hotel is very close to metro, and walking distance to some of the touristy places. Staff is nice. The room rate is reasonable. The bed and pillow are comfortable. The room is clean and new. The only thing I don’t like is the bathrooom. It is a bit dated and with slight urine smell.

• Daniel (6/5): - The property was a smaller establishment and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, however the room size was small and tight. Food service was good for the price but limited and repeated daily. Cleanliness of the room was adequate, however after the 2nd day, housekeeping services seemed to languish. By the third day, towels were not replenished, even though we had used the same towels for the 1st 2 days, and the fourth day, only one bath towel and a hand towel were provide for the 2 of us. Additionally by the fourth day we ran out of toilet paper and used tissue paper until the next day when the empty spindle was replenished with a used roll with less than a full roll of paper!

A tv in the room, but no English speaking channel available .

• Peggy (10/5): Lovely stay - I had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Sevres! My room was comfortable and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I loved being able to let in fresh air, and the bed was comfortable after a long day of walking. I did not try the breakfast, but I appreciated the nespresso machine, hot water kettle (with tea bags), and small chocolates available in the afternoon through the evening. I took advantage of those each evening after returning from the day’s activities. The location is also great with many restaurants, shops, and metro/bus stops nearby yet also the immediate block around the hotel is quiet. Definitely recommend!

• Mariela (8/5): - Hotel is good but need some love. Is located on a fabulous area with many pharmacies, restaurants and else, and is on a quiet street. We felt safe all the time and staff were very attentive and kind. However, not every room is as the photos here and we first got an ugly one, nothing like the photos. It was dark, small and outdated. Thankfully staff were able to change our room and we got one cute. Bathroom in both rooms needed some improvement, ex: toilet was stained and didn't looked cleaned, shower curtain had mold at the bottom. Nonetheless , I recommend staying here because you get what you pay for. If they can improve a few things it would be definitely a 5 star review.

• Jason (10/5): Wonderful stay in Paris - We stayed as a 4-person family in the 2 bedroom “apartment” for 5 nights. The room was clean and spacious, with a double bed in one bedroom, a single bed in another bedroom and the couch converts into a comfortable double bed. The converted-couch may have been bigger and more comfortable than the double bed (even though the double bed was really quite comfortable). The kitchen had a 2-burner hot plate (induction), a fridge with a freezer, plates, cutlery and glasses. The cooking pots were very limited (only one small pot), but we mostly just used the frying pan to cook eggs for breakfast (we ate lunch and dinners out). The location was amazing- a wonderful bakery 1 minute walk away, a carrefour grocery store 1 minute walk away, and very easy access to the subway and bus system. Overall the hotel had everything we needed for our family and were very happy to have found this place!

Rooms don't have a coffee maker, fridge or microwave. Safe is not available in the room but it was available at the front desk that we didn't use. Overall it was a good place to stay for our first visit to Paris.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Good for one night! - The room was great for a solo, one night visit. It is close to lots of great shopping and restaurants, and the employee at the front desk was kind and helpful. As far as the room goes, though I booked a double room, it was actually quite small. It was also a bit dated, with a lot of wear noticeable in the bathroom. The bathroom pipes were loud, where you can hear water noise from other showers and flushing- even with the bathroom door closed. It's a small hotel, so all the rooms are steps from the elevator, meaning you may hear comings and goings at all hours. The AC was not working, but the window was helpful to let a breeze in. The hotel room doors use normal keys, and don't have much more in terms of security (like a deadbolt lock or door guards/latch that most hotels have). The front desk asks you to leave your key with them before you leave the premises- I thought this was optional, but they asked me to leave my key every time I left the building. Overall, it was an okay stay for the price, but if I was staying in the area longer, I would opt for something more comfortable.
• Gertrude (10/5): Quiet, convenient and comfortable - The remarkable thing about our room in this hotel was how perfectly quiet it was, even though were many cafes and bars nearby. The beds were comfortable, and we were given the twin beds we asked for. The location was excellent for walking to many many important sites. My only criticism was being charged 20 euros for four small bags which they kept for us after we checked out. This was the first time I have ever encountered a charge for that service.

The rooms were not kept up as to the condition of the ground floor rooms. The shower head would keep falling off the holder because the holder was worn and couldn't be tightened to hold the shower head at the proper angle for showering. Excellent hot water though.

We booked thru orbitz and had an extra adult in the room so we probably got the worst room in the hotel. Bottom floor, view of the roof of the breakfast area. Some rooms had balconies and looked much better. TV had no stations in english. All in all I was still pleased with the hotel and would highly recomend it, just ask for a room on a higher floor.
• Deepa (2/5): AVOID - I recently had a terrible experience staying at the Hotel De Sevres in Paris. I booked a room with kitchenette, dining table, and balcony facing the street, but when I arrived, they gave me a tiny room with a blocked balcony and small beds not kitchen or dining area. The air conditioning and the blackout curtains were ineffective, and the customer service was appalling. I showed my booking to the person at desk but he refused to change our room. I contacted Hotels.com the same night and I stayed on the phone with them until 2:00 AM they spoke with hotel but hotel refused to refund. Hotels.com person said everything else in area is sold out too. I am writing this review to warn other travellers to avoid this hotel. It is a small, poorly run establishment that does not live up to its online photos.
