• Nuria (9/5): Un alojamiento acogedor - Es un apartamento muy espacioso y muy bonito y cómodo. Nosotros éramos cuatro y estuvimos muy a gusto. La cocina muy bien equipada y con ingredientes básicos como café, sal ,pimienta…. La lavadora y secadora un puntazo y se agradece mucho. Kristin pendiente de nosotros porque anunciaban cortes de carretera por el tiempo y teníamos que salir temprano al aeropuerto y se encargó de llamar para informarse del estado . La dulce bienvenida que nos dio también se agradeció 😊 Está al lado del centro de Selfoss con tiendas y cafeterías y restaurantes . Nada

She came personally to meet us and welcome us. The apartment was neat, clean and everything was appropriately available and thoughtfully provided. If possible, it would be great that the cooking pan in the kitchen be a non-stick pan.

Located at the river bank and right across the city centre. Kristin went beyond to take our luggage from the airline (who had misplaced our luggage ) , she welcomed us with a smile, good wishes and a chocolate to enjoy with the coffee. The facility is clean and spacious. We stayed for 1 night, had a comfortable stay and a good sleep. The bathroom water does have thermal like smell, we wondered why. Don’t look any further , book this place without a doubt Kitchen utensils weren’t very clean. Thermal like smell of the bathroom water

Very conveniently located to, restaurants, groceries and gas. One of the cleanest homes I’ve stayed in. Full size washer and dryer in the unit was amazing for our family of five after traveling for a few days. Home overlooks a beautiful river. Highly recommend this place for your stay in Selfoss!

• Hazlina (10/5): Lovely apartment and value for money - This apartment is the prettiest apartment during our stay in Iceland! The house is very comfortable and fully equipped (including dryer for our laundry!). The host (Kristin) is so nice and lovely. She is also very helpful when I requested iron. Would totally recommend this place to everyone.

Location is also very convenience, short drive to supermarket. We were very happy with the stay. One of the best place we choose in Iceland.

The apartment was cute studio and fine size for a one night stay for 4 people! There’s also a washer and dryer which was super helpful

She is pleasant and happily gave me advice on places of interest in the region. The facilities are modern and in excellent condition. The location, next to the river and a 2 minute walk to the renovated centre of Selfoss, is fantastic. We had a lovely stay in Selfoss and surrounds.

• Jana (9/5): Superb - Wonderfull location, across the town center and very close to beautiful forest area. You can use the walk during the summer. The apartment is modern and cosy. The owner was friendly and came up in case of need. One of the apartment has just a septum between bed and living room, which does not reach the ceiling. It is tricky, if somebody in the group snores. But it is obvious on the pictures.

The house is lovely and located in the perfect spot to visit all the beautiful scenery in the southwest of Iceland. The beds are great, the shower is nice and hot, and the kitchen is well stocked. Everything was ok.

Great towels. Towel heating device useful for drying clothes. Slept with windows open with soothing sounds of the river outside. Kitchen well supplied with cookware, sugar, tea, etc. Really hard to figure out the lockbox even with instructions. Unfortunately the WiFi and TV weren't working when we arrived (local outage). There's a dryer but it didn't dry my clothes. Needs blackout blinds for summer.

• Dmitri (5/5): Disappointing - A large, nice studio on a ground floor of a 2-floor house, well decorated. The owner was nice to us. The lodging is presented as follows on its Booking.com site: "This spacious apartment features 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom... ". Yet, this is misleading as in reality it has NO "separate bedroom", but a narrow part of the living room behind a barrier with a bed (see photo). First, it is inappropriate for two couples, as was in our case, second, the space between the bed and walls/barrier is too narrow, and there are no bedside tables nor bedside lamps or electric sockets (for phones). Further, the kitchen is too small to sit four persons; there's no trash bin.

• Hubert (9/5): Great place to stay! - Very good location with nice view over the river and close to shops and restaurants in Selfoss (highly recommend visiting the Old Dairy Food Hall - Mjólkurbúið Mathöll) and good starting point for Golden Circle attractions (as it was for us). The apartment was spacious and clean, the kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook for yourself and the bathroom had a washing machine and a dryer. Kristin (our host) welcomed us, was very helpful (even offered us to alert if there are Northern Lights out there). Shame we only stayed there one night...
• Scott (10/5): Exceptional - Great stay, I will 100% stay here again. View is great and the location is perfect. My wife is picky and demands cleanliness, and this was a welcome surprise to see how clean and well maintained the property looked. There was some noise upstairs but very minor, and did not distract or cause an issue.
