• Koli (10/5): An oasis of luxury and comfort - Oka was our lovely host manager who looked after our whole party the entire week. From being there at the villa when we arrived, to welcome fresh coconut water drinks for us and a full guided tour and information, he was amazing. The standards of cleanliness and housekeeping were 10/10 and exceeded our expectations. Stunning pool, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and an oasis of luxury for us all. Additionally when one of our party fell ill, Oka arranged a doctor to visit and was so helpful. Don't be put off by the travelling approach roads to the villa, it was pure luxury and breath taking views and comfort once you arrived there.

• Andi (9/5): Beautiful large villa and pool - This is without a doubt, the most beautiful, and largest, light and airy villa we have ever stayed in. Choice of 3 bedrooms, all with a king bed and ensuite. It's a little tired, as it is older, but this does not detract from the ambience. The pool is massive, and much larger than the photos depict. The staff were nothing but helpful, and really lovely. We had our own staff member, Komang, here for us from 9 till 5 every day. He is such a lovely, caring person, willing to help with anything. After bringing us our breakfast from a local restaurant every morning, he cleaned inside and outside, and was there for any assistance required. We felt a little sorry for him, as we didn't require much from him, so he sat around at the security station much of the day. The villa is situated 1km from the main road, from shops and restaurants, which is an easy walk, with smaller shops and warungs along the way. There are definitely less restaurants than in Kuta etc. The villa is situated right next to a lane and local shop.  It can be very noisy with motor bikes travelling past, and the local shop owners have 4 dogs, which bark a lot. We were woken up quite often. I would suggest that light sleepers bring earplugs. There is not a lot to do in this area, nor many places to walk.

• Tina (5/5): Overall, while the villa was spacious and had potential, and the staff were truly outstanding, the maintenance issues, p - On the positive side, the villa itself was large, with a great private pool and spacious interiors. The beds were big and very comfortable, and the overall layout and aesthetic of the villa had great appeal. The biggest redeeming feature was the incredible hotel staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Their quick response to any issues really made a difference and made our stay much more enjoyable. Without their service, our overall experience would have been significantly worse. However, the property was definitely in need of some TLC. Several things were broken or worn out—locks didn’t work, doors were hard to open or close, light switches were hanging off the walls, and one of the shower handles even fell off while we were using it. These issues detracted from what could have been a truly relaxing stay. The included breakfast was unfortunately very disappointing. It arrived ice-cold, having been transported from Canggu in the early morning. The listed “bread basket” was just two slices of plain white toast with a small omelette. After giving our feedback, the staff acted quickly and arranged for us to order breakfast daily from a much better local café, which we appreciated. We also had a visit from a large rat, which was quite unsettling. It chewed through our toddler’s bottle, our backpack, a dish sponge, and even tried to eat the salt. The staff again responded swiftly by calling in a pest controller to place rat bait, but the presence of the rodent definitely made us feel uncomfortable. The location was also not what we expected—it was quite remote, surrounded by very narrow backstreets and in a more rundown area, with stray dogs, chickens, and burning rubbish piles nearby. Had we known more about the area beforehand, we likely wouldn’t have chosen to stay there. Other small issues included a broken stair tread in the upstairs room and pool edges that looked a bit mouldy.

• Uranbileg (10/5): Beautiful and memorable. Definitely come back in the future. Felt like home :) - It was exceptionally beautiful place and Pak Oka and his staff has done their best. Their breakfast was yummy and my children enjoyed so much for the hospitality and kindness.
• Skye (8/5): Very good - The pool was amazing. The size was exceptional, the water was very clean and the pool was nice and deep in the middle. The rooms were good sizing and the whole villa was very clean and comfortable. Shower and bathroom was nice and large. Location was very close to the beach and main road into nusa dua. Our fridge stopped working a day into us being there due to an electrical issue so unfortunately we did not have a fridge for a day until staff were able to come and move the fridge. Lots of caterpillars come inside the villa during the morning but did not effect our stay.
• Agung (10/5): Sweet escape in Nusa Dua - Their huge private pool and attentive service create a sweet escape. Me and my partner were very pleased by their villa teams. I'll be coming back if I visit Nusa Dua area.

• Berenice (9/5): Superb - Spectacular villa. It is huge, with three bedrooms and ensuites. The living room and well-equipped kitchen were beautiful and spacious. Fantastic hosts who maintained a spotless environment. Luxurious gardens and pool are very private and have beautiful uninterrupted views of the ocean and bridge. The pool is large and well-maintained, with an adjoining spa. Despite being close to town this location was very quiet and peaceful. S Not staying longer.

• Ketut (9/5): Big villa with good amenities, perfect for family gathering. - The villa layout is very good. Big beds and bedrooms. Big swimming pool. Perfect for a family gathering. The staff was extremely welcoming and responsive. Overall, we had a great experience at Villa Cempaka. The location was quite far with a narrow street. The parking spot was outside the villa compound but safe enough with the security available at the villa.
• Djalel (6/5): Nothing exceptional - The peace and quiet and the friendliness of the staff. Too much chlorine in the pool. No pressure in the showers. No cold water during the day. No pressure in the shower. The building is getting on in years and needs to be refreshed. Not worth the price

• Nader (10/5): It’s a great place to stay and wonderful staff. Highly recommended. - Mr. Aryanta and Surya and all the staff were very accommodating and always ready to help. Dogs barking made it very difficult to sleep.
• Kusumo (10/5): Exceptional - A warm welcome from the staff, they're pretty helpful and friendly. The villa is amazing, it didn't look that big from outside but when we stayed, it was actually more spacious than we expected. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, love it!
