• Marlon (4/5): Not quite what we expected. - The staff were lovely. Warm and accommodating. The property needs a lot of attention. For a villa, you expect things there so as to have meals if you want to stay in. Yet, there was no cutlery, dishes or even a microwave, toaster etc.. The fridge needs to be replaced. It's literally rusted at the bottom, and the freezer didn't even shut. Barely any lighting outside and no fan making it less uncomfortable to sit outside. The linens were stained on arrival and the pillows had visible mould. After a couple of days, we moved to another villa. The staff were lovely, no complaints there. Very friendly and accommodating, and when asked for assistance, there was no fuss and happy to help.

Sometimes people came and stayed next door to me and they are noisy outside my door as there was a big table there, people that choose to stay here should respect the policy of this place as it’s beautiful and staff shouldn’t be always having to remind people about this

• Horan (10/5): Absolutely Fabulous Villa and Stay, we highly recommend this place it was so central to everything - The location was absolutely brilliant - we had Marissa Spa at the end of the Driveway, Restaurants/Cafe' also at the end of the driveway and just down the road. Markets and the Beach also just a short 10 minute stroll from the villa - everything at your fingertips to make a fabulous holiday. We would highly recommend this villa and if/when we go back to Bali, we will definitely be staying here again. The Staff were fabulous and so friendly, always there to help if needed, nothing was an issue if you asked for anything. The pool was an added bonus that we definitely needed on those hot days/nights, and it was well maintained. The beauty of having the villa to ourselves was that we didn't need to share the pool with other people, another great reason to stay in the Villa rather than a Hotel. Spoiled for choice for food/locations around the villa with many international options. Seriously, we can't fault this place! And this is not a reflection on the Villa itself, more a tip for other travelers when you stay here - You do need to be very specific when ordering a Taxi/Grab/Gojek because they kept trying to go to the back of the building which isn't a place or a road - the way we got around this was making sure we told them we were off the main road and the drive next to Marissa Spa. Sometimes it was just easier to meet them at the top of the drive telling them to go to Marissa Spa.

Shower has hot water and aircon works very well .. pool is very clean and refreshing.. the place is quite so u can have peaceful sleep… beds are very comfy .. staff were so helpful and kind and when we need anything we contacted Albert the owner who makes his best to make our stay even more exceptional… location was amazing near to all the beautiful restaurants and walking distance to the beach.. a small local market for shopping is also existing … I stayed with my friend in lovecho for 1 week and it was exceptional stay we kept extending our stay because we loved it here.. Nothing … everything was amazing… they even added microwave to the outside dining area … and the water dispenser is also there and has cold and hot water..
• Tatiana (3/5): Not a 'villa' level, strong odor, staff lacking manners - The interior of the room, location. It's an okay place to stay for 1-2 nights. - The staff. I was on the long chair by the pool, I stood up and left my towel, my book, my phone, and other valuables on it. I turned back and saw a housekeeping staff comfortably sitting on it. When I approached the chair, they made no attempt to stand up, so had to be asked for it. The other member of the staff, in the meanwhile, cleaned up a room nearby and washed his hands in the swimming pool on the way out. - the strong sewage odor in the bathroom. This was addressed in the previous comments, and even though the management commented it was fixed, our room still had a very trong odor in the bathroom. I counted at least 4 air freshener bags placed in there, but it didn't mask the smell. The shower is badly designed, so you'll have your bathroom floor constantly wet. - the facilities. The room description states it comes with a coffee/tea area. However, there were only 2 cups and 2 glasses. No kettle, no tea bags, no coffee maker. The bathroom had no toiletries, which was surprising considering its positioned as a 'villa'.

• Theresa (7/5): Villa excellent. 1 minute walk down dark alley way to all you need 5 minutes walk to beach - Very comfortable large roomed villa. bed excellent, smart tv to watch my shows. Room 2, shared with upstairs but no one rent up there … so I had the small cold pool to myself and the entire down stairs seating area as well. Fridge, microwave, instant Hot and cold water , double gas cooker. As in photos. Private villa so it’s all about pm. Quick to respond, House keeping man rude and does not listen to boundaries..! 45 seconds to main road lots of bars and restaurants. 5-10 minutes walk to very expensive priced beach. Single tattooed women arriving on scooter from Canggu, dropped off at office and was paying grab man and they all left me stranded. I get a “ hey yourvillahere, !!!!!“ maybe 50 metres away. No walk with me to show me, no offer to carry my little carry on suit case. Just here !! I get to him in the heat , he looks at me with total disgust, I said at the entrance 🤷‍♀️ you take my bag ? He just look at me like a stupid white women and entered the area. We pass the small cold pool and past the outside living area to the villa. As soon As soon as he unlock the door he demand payment. No show me the villa or what I’m in titled too,, just money. 💰🤬. I look first , turn on tv and ac to be sure oke. 👍✅. Oke, was 530,000 for one night. I had 510,000 I said when I go into town 3 minutes away I drop you off the other 20,000. Mind you he not give no invoice for payment. Had a very cold swim, open the gate to see if there was more sun outside, shut the gate ( it’s very loud ) within in 2 minutes he busts through the gate demanding the 20,000. Ffs 🤬. Not only 1 hour and he invades my privacy, single women half dressed after a swim. I tell him I will bring the 20,000 to the area when I’ve refreshed ( this is also in pm to office) do not ever enter here again, ( I got really angry them) He entered my private villa twice after that when I told him not too.

The shower had nice water pressure and there was cold and hot drinkable water available at all times. The bathroom design is bit of a mess, the shower wet all the floor and it stayed wet all our stay. For us it wasn't too serious but I don't recommend it for an elderly person. Also it had a strong sewer smell coming out of the drains.

So easy to get hold of and if anything was wrong would be there to sort asap!! Bathrooms could probably do with a little update but that’s being very picky, they worked and were still nice just maybe something to think about for future bookings

• Meghan (8/5): Great cheap accommodation that is spacious, comfortable and close to everything - The location of Villa Lovecho was fabulous! A quick walk up the lane and you are amongst plenty of lovely cafes and a variety of restaurants - and 3 local Circle K marts for water, snacks etc The beach and a number of bars and restaurants are also within walking distance (approx. 1km) and took roughly 12 mins to walk there or jump on a Gojek for 8000rp. We had teenage and adult kids holidaying with us and they appreciated the spaciousness of the villa and having their own rooms with separate ensuites and the large and deep pool. They also liked the proximity and ventured out locally to bars, Finns Rec gym and the beach using Gojek. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and each has a cupboard, air con, ceiling fan and a safe. The kitchen whilst dated, is functional and has some frying pans, plates, cutlery and utensils available for cooking and has a large fridge. The villa is reasonably secure and at the end of the lane (plenty of parking if you have a car or motorbikes) with gates that you can padlock when you go out and in the evenings. The staff that look after the villa (Made and Kadek) are super lovely, very accommodating and helped make our stay great also. The villa is dated and needing some TLC, but we found it super comfortable and extremely affordable. The bathrooms need an update but again were functional and spacious. The laneway leading to the villa is not yet paved, so can become muddy due to building works going on in a new villa next door - there were no noise interruptions from these works though.

• Mashuri (8/5): Very good - Staffs were friendly. Owner has a good communication rapport. Value for money. Location was good TV were not working but it was not an issue for us. A/C were not too strong and can make do.
• Katrina (8/5): A great villa for a group of 6, good value for money, close to shops and restaurants and beach. Air con cold and rooms g - Close to all the restaurants and walk or scooter to beach. Driveway access muddy , Building construction next door. Mosquitoes in outdoor area- needed fans.

• Panache (7/5): Overall it was ok for. 3 day stay was plenty for a family holiday. - The rooms are clean and comfortable. Not enough seating, we had 10 people, there is 1x 2 seater and 2x 1 seater lounge, the dining table is a small round table with 2 seats. The place needs a fan in main living area, and a tv. The fridge and kitchen need a deep clean and new plates, cup and cutlery etc (looks like it’s had the same ones since the place was built years ago). The spare old disgusting looking mattress in the lounge needs to be removed, it’s not a good look and i wondered why it was there, ran out of storage maybe.

• Anna (7/5): Nice location, cleanliness could have been better - Close to the beach, bars and restaurants but not too loud. Comfy bed, good AC, friendly staff Check in was confusing, there was nobody around and I had to message property. Pool could have been cleaner. Bathroom also not the cleanest, dirty drains in sink and shower and broken toilet seat.
• Sarah (5/5): I only stayed one night as I couldn’t use the pool or sunbathe easily - The room was huge. There were two sofa areas to sit outside the room. The kitchen had a decent fridge. The pool was very small and not clean. The was only one broken lounger in an awkward corner. The was building work going on next to the property.

• Farrell (10/5): Exceptional - Relaxing stay in the heart of Canggu. Bed was comfy and clean, air con worked fine. They have nice little kitchen but we did not use it.
• Shane (8/5): great - great location close to lots of cafes bars beach ect. rooms dark and beds, pillows very comfortable. air con worked well in rooms. nice deep swimming pool. cleaners very nice and hard working if your not a nature outdoors lover the living area is set outdoors and can get a bit uncomfortable to chill. maybe some fans out there would help alot. how ever we still enjoyed it.

• Cameron (9/5): amazing location and price. would 100% go again - great location and really friendly and easy to deal with staff. they had fresh water at the location. offered us help and let us keep our bags at the property past check out whilst waiting for taxi pick up. honestly very little, the living room is tiled floor which was very slippery when wet. but that seems to be standard in Bali
