It is pricey but it was a comfortable stay. Keep in mind the jacuzzi/ hot tub is only for select rooms. Also laundry is expensive 20+ euro.

Carolina (6/5): - The view of the water is indeed lovely, although the first thing that crosses your sight is a large parking lot directly in front of the hotel. Rooms are functional, but for rates starting at over €200 per night even in middle of September (so not high season), the furnishings fall short. Stains on fabrics and chipped paint on furniture give the impression of wear and tear rather than the level of quality one would reasonably expect at this price point. On a positive note, the spa facilities are excellent – modern, clean and truly relaxing. Dining experience was a disappointment: Reservations are not accepted at all – even if you intend to book a multi-course menu with wine pairing. Considering the room rates, this policy felt particularly surprising. The few outdoor tables are positioned right by the parking lot, still you have a view over the sea. In the evening the restaurant suffers from very bright, unflattering lighting inside. One would expect more refinement and attention to detail than what is ultimately delivered. So overall, while the hotel does have its strengths, the experience definitely doesn’t align with the price tag.

John (10/5): - The staff are warm and welcoming and every inch of the hotel is immaculate. The proximity to the gorgeous beach and the fascinating old town can't be beat. And the restaurant has fantastic meals and a very nice breakfast. Driving the car through a very narrow passthrough was a bit of a nail biter, but after that moment everything was free of stress. We want to go back and stay longer next time!

Best location, 2 mins walk down to the small beach with bar/lunch, steep hill back up. 5 mins walk to the old town with restaurants and shops. Really recommend, great value for money.

Cintia (5/5): - A Hotelben 1 szobatípusnak lett volna élvezhető privát terasza, a képek alapján mi ezt foglaltuk, de sajnos nem azt kaptuk. Jelzésünk ellenére nem tudták cserélni a szobát, mert foglalt volt. Sajnos az összes körülvevő szoba ablaka a teraszunkra nézett, illetve az utcáról is belátni. Így semmi értelme egy 550 euros “privat” teraszos, jakuzzis szobának. A szobában sem kávéfőző, sem vízforraló nincsen. Ilyen ár-érték arányú szállásnál ez elfogadhatatlan.

The staff were attentive, always ready with helpful tips on local sights and dining. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of local touches, and the location made it easy to explore Vrbnik’s cobbled streets, wine cellars, and nearby beaches. The only difficulty was parking.. which the staff took exceptional lengths to make it as stressless as possible.

Kai (10/5): - Wir hatten ein schönes modernes Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon; Zimmer sehr sauber; wenn wir vom Frühstück kamen, war das Zimmer bereits gereinigt, was sehr angenehm war (hängt natürlich davon ab, wann man frühstücken geht); bequemes Bett und schönes Bad. Zwei Buchten sind fußläufig gut erreichbar – etwa 2 bzw. 15 Minuten; In der nahen Bucht kann man gut schwimmen und gelangt über zwei Treppen von der Plattform bequem ins Wasser – die Bucht ist allerdings gut besucht. Aufgrund der Nähe sind wir nach dem Schwimmen zurück ins Zimmer gegangen und haben den Balkon genossen; schönes Frühstück und tolles Abendessen (Wolfsbarsch-Ravioli und Thunfischsteak sind sehr lecker); auch den luftgetrockneten Schinken und Wein (Zlahtina) aus eigener Produktion haben wir geliebt. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In Vrbnik betreibt die Familie zwei weitere Restaurants – diese sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen (... Pizza mit luftgetrocknetem Schinken und Rucola). Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen noch den Wein und Feigen-Grappa, den wir mitgenommen haben – so bleibt noch etwas Urlaubs-Feeling. Antonella (10/5): Relax tra mare e scogliera - Hotel situato in una posizione fantastica. La camera ha una vista mozzafiato, grandi vetrate che ti immergono direttamente sul mare e sulla meravigliosa città dì Vrbnik, un paesino meraviglioso e unico. Hotel bellissimo, ottima cucina, splendida anche l'area welness con la piscina interna. Ci ritornerò, giorni meravigliosi!

Ian (10/5): - An absolutely smashing hotel, the lap of luxury. Perfect roof top room with fantastic views across to the mainland. Beach within 100 yards, a bit of a climb back up hill, and a relatively easy walk into the beautiful old town , which is one of the best preserved that we have visited in the Mediterranean. Staff at hotel were very helpful and arranged perfect celebrations for our 50th wedding anniversary. Worth every penny !

Sabine (9/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Terrasse super mit einem schönen Blick auf das Meer. Das gesamte Personal war sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Den Indoorpoolbereich und die Saunen fanden wir auch sehr schön. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Da wir im April dort waren, war es natürlich sehr ruhig und das Zimmer noch günstiger! Zum Strand der kleinen Bucht sind es 2 Minuten bergab zu Fuß. Es gibt einen kleinen Kiesstrand. Der Rest ist terrassenförmig betoniert. Es gibt einuge Einstiegsstellen mit Leiter ins Meer. Der Vorteil: man muss über keine Steine gehen um ins Wasser zu kommen. :-) Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten um Rad zufahren und Wandern zu gehen. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit 2 Schlafzimmer und einer kleinen Terrasse. Es wären ein paar zusätzliche Haken im Badezimmer für Handtücher und Bademäntel gut! Die Dusche sieht toll aus, aber es spritzt massiv hinaus. In einem Zimmer konnte das Fenster zwar gekippt, aber nicht voll geöffnet werden, was uns persönlich sehr gestört hat, da wir immer bei ganz offenem Fenster schlafen. Für gehbehinderte Menschen ist der gesamte Ort nicht tauglich. Es geht immer bergauf/bergab und es gibt sehr viel gepflasterte unebene Wege. Der Preis in der Hochsaison führt zu einem nicht akzeptablen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn wir wieder kommen, dann in der Nebensaison. Für einen Urlaub mit kleinen Kindern gibt es sicher bessere Reiseziele mit schöneren bzw praktischeren und sichereren Stränden.
