• TLaci61 (10/5): Remek szállás, kis sétára az óvárostól - Paolo nagyon jó házigazda. Minden szükséges információval ellátott bennünket. Érkezésünk előtt WhatsApp-on megbeszéltük mikor érkezünk, Így nem volt gond a korai időponttal. A városnézéshez is küldött anyagot a telefonomra, sőt nagyon jó éttermeket is ajánlott az óvárosban. Mi a 4-es szobát kaptuk, ami a hátsó kertre néz, Így (valószÍnűleg) csendesebb az utcára néző szobáktól. Az apartman a 2. szinten van. A szoba mérete nagy, és elég magas is, sok hely van benne. A fürdőszoba is nagy, remek a zuhany, minden szükségessel el voltunk látva. A wi-fi megfelelő (a munkám miatt jó internetre van szükségem, itt az van). A reggeli szuper, minden igényt kielégÍtő, vannak sütemények, joghurtok, müzli, és felvágottak, valamint sajt is. Nem volt ilyen.

Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche, in der das Frühstück morgens bereit steht zur Selbstbedienung. Man kann direkt vor dem Haus bzw in der Straße kostenlos parken. Gab nichts zu meckern.

• Markus (9/5): Zu empfehlen für die Entdeckung von Lecce - Sehr Zentrumsnah. Wir waren in unter zehn Minuten beim Bahnhof. Auch die Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Schönes Zimmer mit aussenliegneden Bad, dass aber nur für uns war. Frühstück war gut und der Gastgeber hat dieses uns auf einen sehr frühen Zeitpunkt gerichtet, da unser Zug früh am Morgen fuhr. Achtung: in der deutschen Beschreibung wird Küchennutzung angegeben. Dies ist nicht der Fall, aber nicht dramatisch, da es in Lecce gute Restaurants zu angemessenen Preisen gibt.

He looked after us and also allowed us to keep the luggage in hold. Moreover he treated us with homemade Pasticcioti a traditional Lecce dessert. • Qian (10/5): In short, choosing this place was a success, and I am very satisfied. - This is my second time visiting Lecce as a tourist, and this time with my mother together. To ensure her comfort, I carefully selected this bed and breakfast hotel. First, its location is excellent, being just 600 meters from the train station and 550 meters from the historic center, both within easy walking distance. Second, the breakfast is available in the sharing kitchen, including coffee, tea, cheese, bread, yogurt, cake, butter and fruit. Third, the bedding is made of pure white, embroidered cotton. One final tip: This is an old building, so rooms facing the street may hear traffic noise. You can close all the windows or choose a room that doesn't face the street. Last of all, the host, Mr. Paolo, is very warm-hearted and attentive.

• silvia (8/5): CONFORTABLE - La ubicación es muy práctica cerca de la estación de tren (llegamos desde Tarento) y aunque alejada cerca del casco antiguo. Se puede hacer todo caminando . El clima no nos acompaño porque lloviznó todo el tiempo pero al ser tan amplia la habitación pudimos estar cómodos . Teníamos habitación con baño privado interno y balcón compartido . El baño es grande pero la ducha es pequeña y algo incómoda la puerta de la cabina . Pero funciona perfecto. La vista es muy agradable al patio de un claustro con árboles. El desayuno completo con variedad y en una cocina realmente acogedora .Hay libre uso de todos los servicios (microondas, heladera, vajilla, cafetera, etc) Un dato a tener en cuenta es que está en 2do piso por escalera .

La habitación sencilla, sin lujos. Como si hubiera sido un convento en algún momento. Tenia un balcón lindo para colgar distenderse y respirar aire fresco. Daba al contrefrente la habitación. Tuvimos suerte de encontrar lugar para estacionar en la misma cuadra del alojamiento. Creo que en temporada alta, debe ser difícil estacionar por allí.

• Carolin (8/5): - Paolo hat mich freundlich begrüsst und mir alles klar und verständlich gezeigt. Grosses Plus: er war sehr flexibel und ermöglichte mir schon früher am Tag das Deponieren meines Gepäcks. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert und gut. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und angenehm. Die Betten sind bequem, Decken nach Bedarf sind vorhanden. Doppelte Fenster zur Strasse ermöglichen völlige Ruhe. Frühstück in der Küche steht am Morgen parat. In der Nähe zum Bahnhof gelegen, die Altstadt ist ebenfalls in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Alles hat gepasst für eine Übernachtung. Eine kleine Anregung: Beim Frühstück vermisste ich etwas Frisches, z. B. Früchte.

• Ling (7/5): Small twin room with small twin beds. Poor breakfast. - The room facility is very good and very clean, it’s near to the train station and the city center. There are also good local restaurants nearby, especially the pizzeria Rosseta. The twin bed room is too small, there is barely room to move around and lay the luggage, and the twin beds are very narrow even for thin and small persons. So do not recommend twin room if you’re looking for comfort. Plus, the towels are not changed per day but rather changed by stay. Also, the breakfast is poor…

Ontbijt was prima, mogelijkheid tot ontbijten op het terras. Kamer was ernorm (kies dan wel de duurste)! Airco werkte goed, ook wel nodig trouwens.

Only a 10 minute walk from the old town. We didn’t realise the room we booked had a separate bathroom. Still a private area but not an ensuite as such.

Großer (Gemeinschafts-)Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne und Nachmittagssonne, auf dem sich gemütlich schattig frühstücken ließ. Kostenlose Parkplätze in der Straße. Nichts, wofür die Unterkunft etwas kann. Wir waren immer die letzten beim Frühstück, und die abgezählten Croissants waren zunächst regelmäßig weggefuttert. Da das Frühstück aber schon am Vorabend hergerichtet wurde, habe ich unsere Croissants dann über Nacht in unser Zimmer gerettet. Vielleicht hilft der Trick ja dem einen oder anderen...
• Alen (7/5): The apartment overpomises based on the description and pictures posted, but it’s not the worst stay. It’s clean with a g - Great location, easy parking, plenty of parking spaces in front of the building. It’s an old building with a good vibe, but it generally promises more than it really offers. Private bathroom is located in a separate room down the hall, which makes it very annoying to use. The balcony with chairs and tables (in the pictures) is “staff only”, the one in the room is shared with no furniture, so you can’t really sit outside. Breakfast is poor. Cheap and low quality pastry. Coffee is ok. Shared kitchen, but cooking us not allowed. Plasma TV = a small 24” computer screen. I didn’t mind not having a TV in my room or not being able to use the kitchen, it’s just to paint the picture of the type of overselling this B&B advertises.

El hotel es cómodo en cuanto a ubicación, cerca de todo a pie y la calle sobre la que está se puede estacionar. La habitación es enorme y cómoda. Ideal para hacer base y pasar unos días. Desayuno súper completo y el personal muy amable. Todo increíble, ninguna queja.

Review oversold the balcony which was shared and tea and coffee was located in shared kitchen, not in room as advertised and not available apart from breakfast time.
• Zhuo (8/5): Lovely stay just outside Lecce old town - 1. Location was around a 7 mins walk to the Lecce old town, which we actually preferred because it was quieter and it was an easy walk. 2. There's free street parking just right outside the B&B 3. B&B is up 1 flight of stairs, but they are super wide, so no problems with large suitcases. There are also several rooms in the property and the kitchen is shared so you will hear/see other occupants around. Breakfast came included, but options were super limited so we did not have breakfast at the B&B as it was practically packaged biscuits / mini croissants. Some more variety like fruits and eggs would've been much appreciated!

• Miranda (8/5): Very nice stay, great value, clean, relaxed and atmospheric home. - My daughter and I stayed at Piazzo Argento for several days in August. It was very relaxed and peaceful with lovely furnishings and felt like we were staying in our own apartment. Location was good: the walk to the old city was short (10 min) and we made the trip several times each day. Easy & free parking was available on the street. I would stay again if I ever returned to Lecce Would have liked softer pillows - the pillows were a very stiff memory foam, albeit this has been prevalent problem everywhere we stayed in Italy! I would have liked having extra coffee available outside of breakfast - the coffee machine made very good coffee and we would have liked to make another cup now and then.

The area is very calm and just a short walk from the city center & the train station. The room was very clean and had everything you needed (including air conditioning) we would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lecce.
• James (10/5): - My wife & I--both 71--truly enjoyed our five-night stay at this 5-6-room b&b. We took a room without bath and were lucky to visit during "shoulder" season so we had the place mostly to ourselves. Pietro, with whom we interacted, was friendly and efficient upon our arrival and very helpful getting us oriented. The b&b is walking distance to the historic center as well as the train station. We took day trips to explore south of Lecce--convenient and inexpensive (except for eating out). The Italian-style breakfast was excellent. Extremely clean and tidy room and all facilities. Cooking wasn't possible, but we shopped and kept our cold food in the fridge for light dinners, eating al fresco on the patio. Great, friendly, spotless place. Highly recommended. Thank you, Pietro!

• stephen (10/5): - Weird check in. My fault. Left my phone charger in Bologna and train was 4 hours late with a dead phone. Got to the property and buzzed in late at night. I think I woke a student. He let me use his phone to check in. Room was clean and neat. Single bed was very comfortable. Large Bathroom. Beautiful shared terrace with wonderful garden view. Amazing flowers blooming. Great breakfast supplies offered. I had to leave before anyone else was awake. I didn't know the check out routine, but got a call later from the management that the check out was okay. Location was convenient to the train station and central Lecce. Got a lot of early morning sight seeing in. Need to spend more time here!
• Angela (10/5): very nice stay just outside of centro storico! - It’s in a local apartment neighbourhood so it gives me the feeling like I actually live there. VERY clean, wifi works really well, abundant breakfast and Paolo is a very nice and helpful host! -

• Pantea (7/5): We enjoyed , Overall it was good. - Only the street noise was a bit annoying. The rooms were completely clean. The bathroom did not have a fan. The sign of the building was very small and it was not clear at night. I didn't see Paolo, but he was helpful.
• Ann (8/5): Good value location for lovely Lecce - Lecce has a wonderful centro storico, well worth taking time to wander with many superb sights & places. We opted to stay out of the centre but only a short walk away. Parking was potluck, on the main road outside the property, but we had no problems finding a convenient spot. Don't be put off by the outside look of the property, it's lovely inside - old fashioned, big rooms with balconies overlooking the quiet side - everything spotless. Paolo was very helpful, giving us a photocopy of his map, pointing out the main sights and a list of restaurants. He went out of his way to get me a selection of gluten free stuff for breakfast and then insisted I kept all the spare items. We had access to a well provisioned kitchen and breakfast was on the balcony outside, overlooking the small garden area. If you are mobility limited, this is probably too far from the centre and the apartment has stairs. Otherwise, everything was great.

• Carolyn (10/5): - The host, Paolo, was outstanding and patient The establishment was clean and tastefully decorated. A continental breakfast was ready as described each morning. Property is a five minute walk from train station and historic city center gate.
• Aayush (10/5): Great place! - The B&B was in a central location and a short-walk from the historic centre. The owner was very nice and helpful with everything. The room was big and clean. Parking our car was also very easy as we found parking in front of the building.
