• Susan (10/5): A great get away stay in the countryside with a lake view - A getaway rural landscape, with the opportunity for a great walk from the property. Stylish, comfortable interior, packed neatly into a cosy room. The adventure of being able to watch the sunset a short distance away in a cabin with a log fire.

• Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were absolutely amazing at making the getaway comfortable and easy for us just to relax and enjoy ourselves. The calm atmosphere with all the animals running around made for the best mini break, highly recommend Nether Glenny Farm. Loved it all!

Kitchen area much smaller than expected (photo looked bigger) & no real oven, just tiny toaster type one. Welcoming hosts, not given many breakfast items for 6 nights, thought should have been provided breakfast items daily or upfront. (Advertised as bed & breakfast).

• Lynne (9/5): Relaxing - The cottage was perfect. We got food from the farm and it was delicious. The views were stunning and we were lucky enough to get sunshine in January. We watched the peacocks and chickens wandering around and a friendly dog cam round to say hi. The Highland Coos were spectacular.

• Eric (8/5): Fresh farm milk and a peacock? Sold! - It has a nice cozy feeling, the hosts are nice, the abundance of animals is lovely (dogs, cats, a chicken, a peacock, oh my!), and getting fresh farm milk and eggs is a rare blessing. It can be a bit cramped when eating, the location is quite remote and the peacock 's wake up serenade at 7 am was a bit much. But nothing too dramatic.
• Fiona (10/5): Perfect - It is really cosy and had everything you need for a weekend away. Accommodation is of a high standard. If you are looking for peace and tranquility this is perfect! Also some lovely walks nearby. Alison was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and the complimentary breakfast was a welcome bonus.

Next time we’d go for one of their bigger properties on the farm j - Location and the owners were brilliant. nicely out of the way and they offered catering. Fine for a couple of days, but a bit small for two people for a longer stay. The sofa was uncomfortable and heating the food in the oven created a bad smell.
