- JPieper (9/5): Als Einzelgast rundum zufrieden - Die Lage ist sehr gut, um das Stadtviertel Kazimierz und die Stadt Krakau zu erkunden. Die Abwicklung lief komplett kontaktlos. Es hat super funktioniert: Türcode per WhatsApp, Zimmerkarte im Zimmer sowie Voucher für Frühstück. Durch die Voucher hatte ich Gelegenheit, mein Frühstück für den letzten Tag, wo ich schon früher abreisen musste, bereits am Anreisetag zu nutzen. An einem Tag, wo ich auch schon früher unterwegs war, konnte ich es später nehmen (bis max. 15:30 Uhr). Das Frühstück selbst im benachbarten Café war wirklich ein Highlight. Im Hotel und im Viertel war eine gute Atmosphäre. Der Kühlschrank hatte eine gute Kühlleistung. Die Matratze war sehr weich. Das war aber kein Problem.

- Federica (3/5): Disappointing Return to a Once Wonderful Hotel Stay - This was my second time staying at Hotel Shalom Kazimierz. I decided to come back after two years because I had such wonderful memories of the hotel, the staff, and especially the quality of the breakfast. After two years, the only exceptional thing that remains is the location. Unfortunately, this time I was truly disappointed. The hotel now feels somewhat neglected and abandoned. The decoration looks much more worn out, and there is no real reception service anymore — everything is handled through WhatsApp, which makes the experience feel impersonal. Plus, one day, our room was not cleaned at all. As for the breakfast, it is now served in the café next door. You receive vouchers, but it is no longer a proper hotel breakfast buffet like it used to be. Instead, they offer a few brunch-style dishes, and you have to choose between sweet or savory. There is very little choice, and honestly, the dishes are far too heavy for breakfast. On top of that, they are not even traditional breakfast options. The café staff were also rather unfriendly and not very welcoming. Considering the price we paid, I do not think the experience was worth it anymore.

The room i had had a good size and location but looking in to some of them I think it is luck of the draw Breakfast was good quality but limited choices. Hope you like eggs if you want something hot. Choice of 5 hor snd 5 cold Room was clean and tidy. Rooms are serviced rooms not a hotel in the full sense so self access via key card and reception is a whatsapp number. Pillows are some random square shape not a proper pillow There is no safe in the room and there is also no bag storage so you need to sort yourself somewhere else for early starts or last day of trip. Breakfast is a very limited menu serviced in the cafe below, which younhaveto go out and back in for m, its a public cafe.. food is not an issue but limited Walls paper thin people in the next room having showed at 6am woke us up and coming in late drunk the same. Even people nect door above unplugging things echoed at 4am when they were leaving for airports banging of doors etc

Код с доступом прислали за день до заезда. Отличные завтраки в кафе на первом этаже. Выбираешь из нескольких блюд. Все очень вкусно. Отличное расположение. Не менялись полотенца за все 3 дня нашего отдыха.

There is no reception and was not given access code prior to arrival so had to wait outside and whats-app for an answer. The fridge in the room didn't work. Breakfast is in the little cafe next door not onsite. Pictures on the website show dining that isn't possible.

Using Uber App, It was only £8 from the airport. £8 to the Salt Mines and £40 to Auschwitz-Birkenau -(Book tickets up to 3 months in advance from their website as they do go quickly)
- Daniele (6/5): Purtroppo non posso che essere rimasto deluso da questo soggiorno, sebbene la posizione fosse ottima compensa a malapena - Purtroppo l’unica nota positiva della struttura era la posizione, che come dalle recensioni era ottima perché vicina a tutti i locali della zona di Kazimierz, insieme alla colazione fornita nel locale accanto che era molto buona Per iniziare l’assenza di una reception è una grande scomodità sopratutto per chi non è pratico nel gestire le comunicazioni via messaggio, ma soprattutto sono due le cose che non mi sono andate giù, la scortesia dello staff presente in struttura che oltre a non parlare neanche l’inglese ci ha trattato con sufficienza quando abbiamo chiesto semplicemente se fosse possibile spegnere il calorifero perché in stanza non ci si stava, al che ci hanno detto di chiamare la reception, cosa che abbiamo fatto e che a sua volta ci ha solo detto di girare la manovella, che per inciso non funzionava quindi abbiamo dovuto rimanere con le finestre aperte nonostante il riscaldamento fosse acceso, ma l’elemento peggiore è stato senza dubbio la pulizia praticamente assente, i letti erano disfatti ogni volta che tornavamo e i pavimenti erano sporchi (abbiamo trovato i capelli del giorno prima ancora sul pavimento del bagno) così come ogni superficie della camera, l’unica cosa che facevano gli addetti alle pulizie era vuotare il cestino, fine, siamo dovuti stare in mezzo alla polvere per 4 giorni, assolutamente inaccettabile.

- Astrid (7/5): Ambivalent! Lage super, alle anderen Bedingungen sollten abgewogen werden - Die Einschätzung ist sehr ambivalent. Das Apartment liegt mitten in Kazimirz, ein hipper Stadtteil, der wahrscheinlich Jugendlichen super gefällt. Eine tolle Umgebung mit hippen Läden, Cafés und viel Geschichte. Demzufolge atmet das Haus auch Geschichte. Wir waren unter dem Dach untergebracht. Für mobilitätseingeschränkte Menschen ein Fakt, da einige Treppen zu steigen sind. Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß, es ist ein Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher sowie kleine Portionen an Tee und Kaffee vorhanden. Das Bad ist klein, aber sauber. Das Bett groß mit bequemen Matratzen. Wir konnten es gut eine Woche dort aushalten. Die Übermittlung des Zimmercodes hat wie verabredet und unkompliziert geklappt. Das Zimmer war absolut überheizt, die Heizung lies sich nicht abstellen. Demzufolge musste man beständig das Fenster geöffnet lassen, was aber wiederum Lärm der angrenzenden Restaurants mit sich bringt. Das Frühstück nimmt man im Haus liegenden Cafe ein. Für jeden Gast ist ein Gericht aus der dort vorliegenden Karte auswählbar, sowie ein Kaffeegetränk. Die Qualität ist grandios, aber es ist eben nur ein Gericht. Mehr Auswahl wäre wünschenswert. Zumindest sollte man genau darauf aufmerksam gemacht werden. Mehr ist nämlich gegen Bezahlung zu bekommen. Leider ist auch die Parkplatzsituation sehr schwierig. Die umliegenden Parkplätze sind sehr teuer: 22 Euro/Tag, wir empfehlen das Dauerparken am neuen jüdischen Friedhof für 65 zloty.

Quartiere vivo e ricco di pub e ristoranti dove mangiare, la posizione è eccellente, in pochissimi minuti si raggiunge il centro, 5minuti con il bus, una ventina di minuti a piedi se volete farvi una passeggiata. L’hotel era molto carino e le camere più che sufficienti. Valuto il soggiorno con un bel 9!

- leyburn2022 (8/5): Good basic accommodation - Basic accommodation but clean and in a good area for exploring Krakow. As a 70yr old it was a little trying to get my suitcase to the 3rd floor without a lift but my fault for not specifying a lower floor. Everything went as planned although at no time during my stay did I ever see any staff at the reception desk.

- Alexandra (7/5): - Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία...πολλά καφέ εστιατόρια γύρω μας..το πρωινό πολύ ωραίο και δίπλα στο ξενοδοχείο. Επίσης πολύ καλό στρώμα και μαξιλάρια..άφθονο ζεστό νερό και ζεστό δωμάτιο. Σε γενικές γραμμές ωραίο αλλά το ήθελα λιγο ποιο καθαρό στην συνέχεια της διαμονής. Κατά την άφιξη ηταν περίφημο Δεν ηταν τόσο καθαρά όσο περιμέναμε. Δηλαδή οταν φτάσαμε την πρώτη μέρα το δωμάτιο ηταν πεντακάθαρο...αλλά στην δεύτερη μέρα εγω άφησα τις πετσέτες κάτω να μου τις αλλάξουν..δεν άλλαξαν στα 4 βράδια σεντόνια και επίσης οι καθαριστριες έμπαιναν να αλλάξουν μονο σακούλες στους κάδους. Κάτω απο τα κρεβάτια επειδή ηταν κσι ξύλινο σκούρο το πάτωμα φαινόταν η σκόνη.

- Laura (10/5): Lovely city break - Codes sent in the morning to gain access. All easily done and then you have a key card to swipe going forward for entry into hotel then your room. Room massive and clean comfortable bed. Shower hot and powerful and all for £50 a night. Bargain.

- Merve (8/5): - It was clean and location was good. Not having soneone at the reception at all times is a problem and free toiletries were just shampoo. For a 3 star hotel there could be at least cotton pads etc. on our second night a drunk british guy came to our floor and shouted and knocked our next doorlike crazy. As there was no receptionist or a responsible from the hotel, noone stopped him for over an hour. I texted the hotel via booking but i could only get a reply in the morning. It was the most unpleasant part of the stay.

- Jean-Claude (7/5): Agréable dans l'ensemble hormis le petit déjeuner - Le quartier où était situé l'hôtel La proximité des sites touristiques La quantité de restaurants et bars situés à proximité - La chambre n'était pas climatisée et les nuits étaient très chaudes au mois d'Août. Le ventilateur mis à disposition n'était malheureusement pas assez efficace. Dormir les fenêtres ouvertes s'est avéré un peu difficile quelques nuits, surtout le week-end où c'est très animé. - Le PETIT DEJEUNER : Grosse Arnaque pour ceux qui aiment le sucré !!! il se limite JUSTE à une tranche de brioche grillée avec du beurre et de la confiture et une tasse de café ou de thé. Pour le prix du petit déjeuner vendu, c'est abusé, voire du foutage de gueule !!! je ne le recommande pas. De plus les photos sur le site de l’hôtel n'ont rien avoir avec la réalité. Par contre le petit déjeuner salé paraissait correct. - L'absence d'accueil à l'hôtel (ce qui n'était pas indiqué sur le site). le code d'accès a été reçu par sms et à 14h pile (heure à laquelle la chambre était prête). Dommage que l'on ai pas pu laisser nos bagages en attendant le départ pour l'aéroport (personne pour les garder et le code d'accès se désactive dès 11h, donc impossibilité de rentrer à nouveau)
- Anders Severin (8/5): - Didn't get the breakfast. Fresh water bottles every day. The coffee is instant and of poor quality. They could also have something in the mini bar. The power went out one night in one of the rooms. But we called them and they fixed it within 4 hours.

- anjafrancescajennymt (2/5): Don't book this one! - The only positive with this venue is the housekeeping staff. Do not pay for breakfast, and do not believe the pictures. You will receive some vouchers for the rubbish place next door. The menu is ridiculously limited. If you would like butter, an extra slice of bread, juice or more than one cup of coffee or tea, you have to pay extra. Save your money and walk across the street. For 1zt more than the price for this travesty, you will receive a full breakfast buffet without hidden costs. There is no bar or restaurant on site as they claim (there are a million of them in the area), no ventilation in the rooms, and the spa is just a phone number you have to call. Good luck trying to book anything through it. The rooms are not soundproof, noisy as hell during the weekend evenings,no smoke detectors in the rooms, and the standard appartments are not the same. Room 21 and 23 were supposed to be the same, same price, but 21 was half a size bigger. Book anywhere else than here!

- Sean (7/5): - Loved the location that was a "10 out of 10" and I would recommend anyone staying in Kazimierz- Krakow to take a look at this hotel. It's convenient for all the bars,restaurants, Cafes, Independent shops and Jewish history. Great for a walk to the Old Town, over or along the river, for the Podorgze district. Definitely a good place for a "Heads Down- No Frills" base, for groups of friends or a couple exploring the city. We had the Balcony Room and it was great to look out and get the feel of Kazimierz and the area. We didn't have hot running water at first and I asked the hotel by message to amend this. They did eventually after questioning if we had had a shower first? Which we didnt as as we were unable to, the shower is old, the paint is peeling off of the walls and shower tiles. The " Double Bed" was 2 singles pushed together and not a Double but it did it's job. We put out our sign to clean the room and it didnt get done, there was a lack of physical connection with staff, except the cleaning girl in passing on the landing. She was very polite and hard working around the place. Hotel needs a good Make Over and it would rate higher, I hope the owners take this as quality feedback and adhere to this.
- Tour06406213106 (4/5): Do NOT spend money on the breakfast option!!! - There are positives as well, but I need to start with the following: All the pictures of food are NOT a representation of what you should expect when you stay here. If you book a room with the breakfast option, you will receive a voucher for Finca Brunch cafe on the corner of the building. Again, do NOT waste your money! The menu is ridiculously limited. You won't get any butter with your bread, if you want more than one slice, it will cost you extra. If you would like a glass of juice, that's extra. The only option that is included, is one cup of tea or one cup of coffee. This is by far the worst breakfast service I've ever experienced in all my years of travel! The "standard" appartments are not even remotely the same size. One room was large and spacious with furniture, the other one, which had the same price, was tiny. The positives are that the rooms are nice and clean, the fridge is cold, and the service by the housekeeper is great! The information needed to get into the building on arrival were also clear, the wifi is fine and the beds are comfortable. However, there is no ventilation whatsoever. There is a kettle and they do stock up with tea and coffee as well as water. The reception area is cluttered with brochures, and the so-called spa information is only available in polish. There is no actual spa on site. The venue does also list convenience store on site which there is not (it's only a 6 minute walk to a shop, but that is not the point) wine/champagne which makes no sense as theres no one here to provide it, and we couldn't for the life of us find the safe. The rooms are not soundproof. The location is fine. Attractions are pretty much in walking distance and there are a lot of restaurants and bars close by.
